She looked around at the truly almost empty bar other than one couple in the corner. “I could show you if you’d like?” She shrugged as if it was normal to break out into dance in the middle of a bar.
“If you want to, sure. I’d love to see it... I think. Part of me is a bit concerned by the way you described it though.”

She nodded, “Yes something obscene…like three pirouettes into an illusion or something like that…” She smiled, “Let me know when i’ve completely lost you.”
“... you lost me. I have no idea what any of that means. I did a lot more... tango and stuff like that. More classical stuff. Among other things.”

“Maybe later,” she decided, glancing up at him before quickly redirecting her gaze once more. Why did it bother her, as if she hadn’t been doing the same since they broke up? She had no heavy lingering feelings, but something about being face to face with the idea didn’t settle well with her. he just shrugged, the rest of her siblings still asleep for at least another hour, so, after a moment, she met his gaze. “Do you… want coffee? Or something?” She shrugged, before looking away again. “She’s not the cuddle type, I know that much. You’re not the first guy I’ve seen get kicked out before the sun’s even out,” she said, huffing a bit. “Are you still drunk at all? Water might be a better idea.”
Sean would have felt better about it all if she had laughed. He expected to be made fun of and mocked for this, but with her not doing that it almost made him feel... cruel? In a lot of ways Sean was, but usually only without him even realizing it. “Coffee sounds great,” he said, glancing around before carefully setting his clothes down. “I should probably... put on some pants at least,” he said with slight embarrassment, reaching over to grab them and do just that. “I got that impression. You know me... definitely a cuddler... but this might have been for the best really. I’m really not sure if that makes me feel better or worse really...” he mused with a small sigh. “I sobered up a lot. Water wouldn’t be a bad idea though.”

“Looks like you kind of?” Maya echoed the words, tilting her head to the side before gasping in realization. “Family stuff?” She rolled her eyes, never having been of a fan of such things to begin with. “I’m sure you’re innocent, as usual, Sean,” she assured him, her eyes shining, both unsure if she should believe him and amused. “Are you giving up? Because you look like you need something to eat after all that… chasing him down. Or maybe it’s because I’m so hungry right now that’s all I can think about. Sorry.”
“Yeah, it’s my little brother. I can’t say he’s my biggest fan which... I get along just fine with our parents, I’m not sure it’s me,” Sean said, running a hand through his hair. Their issues were all almost entirely Sean’s fault, but he nodded anyway, not really having realized that himself. “I’m giving up. It’s a small town, I’ll run into him again sometime whether he wants me to or not. Food sounds like it would be great honestly. There’s a cafe on the corner that’s pretty decent. My treat?”

When Sean questioned him, Rory reacted in strong offense, looking at him as if he’d asked the most ridiculous question in the world. “Yes, this is an emergency. I’m hungry and I have no way of getting the cookies except… walking, and who ever wants to do that? It’s late. I could get murdered. See? Emergency.” He grinned proudly with his words, nodding in approval. “It’s never too early to start celebrating, silly. Or… it’s never too early to start making a profit.” He hummed, nodding his head. “You owe me all the time,” he decided, nodding his head and meeting Sean’s gaze. “… the lowest of low. I’d do… anything.”
“Alright, I guess if I’m saving you from being murdered I can’t complain too much,” Sean relented, though still looking just as amused over the whole thing as ever and not entirely sold on the idea, but it just made him laugh. “I guess you’re right about that. It seems like holidays start earlier and earlier every year,” Sean mused. “I know. Eventually I’ll pay it all back. ... anything? I’m not sure I believe that.”

Rory: What if I cry?
Rory: A very serious, potentially painful, punishment will ensue. Is that what you want?

Rory: Mhmm. The Rory Rulebook says so, and you have to listen to that or pay the very serious consequences. :/
Rory: God, please do.
Rory: I mean, it would be funny. To see if you still fit in it.
Rory: Hopefully. I'd hate it if she's actually bitter and misses you and then beats you up when she sees you with someone else. That'd be the worst.
Sean: What if idont have anymore wine by te time you get here?
Sean: How serious of consequences?
Sean: I'll go home to get it next time and send you pictures.
Sean: ... she's already sort of seen me withsomeone else. it was awkward but fine.

Malia had seen plenty of things in her apartment building. Considering it wasn’t the nicest, usually there were frequent events, police visits which her siblings all stuck their noses in to find out what happened, but for some reason, seeing her ex-boyfriend walk out of someone else’s apartment, nearly naked, was near the top of the list. Arms crossed over her chest, she eyed him judgmentally. Deep down, there was the slightest bit of jealousy. Had she been with anyone else since then, she doubted she’d have felt that way, but with him being her last relationship, she couldn’t help the uncomfortable shift in her chest. “I don’t know if I can pretend it’s not, but I wanna laugh at you as much as I feel bad for you,” she decided, quietly stepping back to let him inside. “Who’s are you coming from? I bet it was Molly, wasn’t it?”
The situation was not ideal, Sean didn’t particularly want people to know that he did things like this regardless, but having it be Malia who caught him really made it worse. He sighed a bit. “You’re welcome to laugh at me if you want, I say I probably deserve it. As far feeling bad for me... this is pretty much my own fault I don’t know if you need to do that.” With a thankful nod, he moved inside, glancing around to make sure that no one else was going to catch him in this state. He nodded again. “Yeah, Molly. I don’t think she wanted me to be around in the morning so I figured I’d do us both a favor and make myself scarce... though a little more time to get dressed before I got booted out would have been nice. ... I had no idea you guys were neighbors. I had a bit too much to drink last night. Or, well, earlier tonight.”

Sean was definitely overly dramatic but that never made Olivia shy away from him, it actually made her the more interested in their conversation. Looking over her shoulder for a brief moment, she scanned the room from where Sean had came from, her eyes landing on the pair of city girls in the corner of the bar. “Are you sure that they won’t come marching over here to kick my ass? I’m sure I can take on the blonde stick but that busty one just needs to whack me for a KO” Olivia wouldn’t normally say such things, but with Sean she felt she could be herself, he was always so welcoming. Taking the shot from the tray the bartender set, she quickly down the bitter liquid whole, immediately scrunching her nose up at the male. “What kind of alcohol is THAT?”
Overall Sean liked to think he was a very level headed person, and for the most part he really was. It was generally just in certain company or when he’d gotten too drunk that he let himself be more on the dramatic side of things. “I don’t think so. We teachers aren’t exactly known for fighting... except for this third grad teacher I had. Everyone used to say that he fought in underground boxing tournaments, but no one could ever prove it,” he mused, alcohol taking him down strange trains of thought. “They can both just be boring on their own, it’ll be fine.” Instead of answering her right away, Sean grabbed a shot for himself and threw it back maybe a little too easily, shaking his head. “Vodka? I think? I’m not really sure.”

“You know what’s bad about me getting drunk?” Rory glanced over, doing his best to focus on the person he was speaking to with heavily slurred words. “I always get so hungry. I mean, I’m always hungry, but all I can think about now is those… are those, uh - Halloween cookies. The really soft ones with sprinkles, ugh…” He groaned at the thought, using the palm of his hand to slump over the bar. “How nice do I have to be to you to convince you to drive me to the store to get some? My dignity for the night is low, I’m just saying… I suggest you take advantage of it, darling.”
Rolling his eyes--but fondly--as Rory spoke, Sean found himself sighing a little. “This is what you’re calling an emergency?” he asked, holding up his phone with the text he’d gotten before finding that he was laughing it all off easily. “Have they even started selling those yet? Halloween is still like... more than a month away, isn’t it?” But it wasn’t like Sean made a habit out of denying Rory things that he wanted and they both knew that he was going to give in long before he’d even showed up tonight. “I probably owe you enough for this anyway. Besides, you’re always nice enough for me to want to do this for you.” Sean reached over to pinch Rory’s cheek lightly, chuckling. “... how low? Out of idle curiosity.”

Rory: Then whyyy would I come over if you're not playing by the rules?
Rory: This is because you didn't have me around. I'll fix you right up, don't you worry, babe. I'll have you wearing leather jackets and charming everyone in no time.
Rory: Or, no. Strike that last part. It's probably too late for you.
Rory: I'll take it, thank you. :)
Rory: That's... sad. Fair, I guess. As long as you're friends now?
Rory: Right. Maybe.
Sean: Ruels? There's a rule that i have to share?
Sean: My parents still have my leather jacket from high school. i migt be able to break that back out. Charming anyone might be a lost cause, you're right.
Sean: You're welcome.
Sean: I think we are. She said she wants to be so alls well that ends well?
Sean: It would be nice.

“Favorite book? And don’t worry, i’ll find one eventually.” She said with a nod. “Maybe or they are abducted by aliens.” She joked.”
“The Tenant of Wildfell Hall? I mean, I could pick out a lot of books, but that’s the one that immediately jumps to mind. I’ll keep an eye out for you,” he offered with a friendly smile. “You know what? Very possible.”

eric’s eyes shot up at eric with the same scowl planted across his face. he couldn’t believe his brother was giving him shit, he wasn’t just going to pretend that everything was okay, but at least he was trying. ‘’i’m not making any promises.’’
Maybe that was a bit too harsh, but Sean had just never gotten it. Maybe because he’d grown up too laid-back and relaxed about things that it never occurred to him that his brother might not be the same. “Just a suggestion, I know better than to expect it.”

his eyebrows furrowed as he glanced at the clipboard the other boy presented. “why on gods name would you agree to do that?” seb asked forwardly. “i mean–” he cleared his through. “what i meant to say was sure.” he flashed a quick smile as he reached for the clipboard and pen. “where am i supposed to sign?”
“I'm too nice? I really need to work on that, learn to say no,” Sean remarked with a chuckle, handing over the clipboard with a shrug. “Besides, it’s even worse when it’s a pretty girl asking you to do something, right? It’s really unfair.” Laughing lightly he pointed to the line. “Sign there and then date it on the next column. I think it’s about... bike lanes? I don’t really know.”
