PERTH!!! Another re-edit. Damn I love that I finally know how to handle Lightroom my way and actually feel happy about the results. It will never be perfect, but perfection is in the eye of the one that looks at it. And there’s still so much to learn and to discover. I love learning from other photographers and sharing stories, editing processes and hints. So if there’s any other people out in PERTH, please message me. I miss these random ‘editing dates’ over a coffee or beer I did had back home in Cologne or over east in Melbourne. Now that was an emotional rollercoaster. Got up at 1.45am to order tickets for the one and only upcoming The Ghost Inside gig in LA. The show was sold out in less than two minutes (if I am not mistaken) but my girl Lisa and I managed to buy some tickets. No flights or hotels booked yet. No idea how to afford it. Never have I ever been to the states before, but guess I am going there now and the fact that I am going with one of my favorite people makes it even more exciting. There will be tears. This bands lyrics mean the world to me and the vibe their art delivers is just outstanding. Ever since that dodgy festival in Sweden where they performed in the middle of the night on an pretty unsafe wooden stage, this band had my heart. And liver if I remember some nights. This is one of the last pictures I’ve took of them in 2015 at the @impericonde festival in Germany. Little did I know about photography and editing back then. This picture is a re-edit of a photo taken on my old but beloved Canon 550D with a cheap 50mm lens. Back then I’ve used Picasa so edit my stuff. No Lightroom. At least I’ve used raw files haha. Things have changed. But my love for this band didn’t change. 3am now, off to sleep again. Got slightly better at using the Lightroom CC iPhone app. What a show.
