Not to sound needy here but please send me asks about Ambrose and Saeko. I genuinely want y’all to know about this gothic couple. 🙏

Normally, I’m fine with a lot of headcanons and theories because I legitimately believe they’re interesting in their own right but here’s one I’m honestly not a fan of:

1) Francis being responsible for the sudden wave of motherless children in the neighbourhood. I know it’s meant to be a milkman joke but personally I don’t see Francis impregnating a lot of women. He just looks too tired and he just wants to do his job. The only woman I can see he impregnated is obviously Nacha and that’s because they have a strong relationship in my headcanon. I mean there could be other milkmen responsible or twine doppelgängers could be responsible for that.

2) Chester/The Clown being unrelated to the tnmn lore. Because why would they be in the plot as a one of thing. It’s not really a gripe but I can see that there’s more things at play here with them.

3) Any of the characters (except Ana) being headcanoned as a rapist/pedo. I know we don’t know much about the characters but personally not a fan of those kinds of headcanons for obvious reasons. Maybe some of them aren’t good people (like Angus probably) but they’re legitimately NOT that bad. At least I hope so.

As for ships, I’m not the biggest shipper out there but I’m gonna be biased and there’re ships out there I legitimately fucking hate.

1) Any of the adults being shipped with Anastacha! Because it’s so gross! If Ana’s being shipped with either of her parents too, that crosses the fucking line! It’s not just pedo shit! It’s incest too! I have beef with a certain author who ships Ana with her dad and whoever that is, they SUCK!

2) Personally, I’m not a fan of people shipping married couples with other characters like any other ship with Mia except Mia x Afton. That’s because they’re married for a reason so I genuinely don’t see them being paired up with any other character besides their partner. If anybody else prefers to ship married couples with other characters, all power to them but I’m not a fan.

3) Again I’m gonna be biased here and say that I REALLY REALLY REALLY HATE Angus x Nacha/Foccacia. Foccacia is my only NOTP. Mainly because I’m one of the biggest MilkBread shippers out there and I only ship Francis and Nacha together wholeheartedly. And for the life of me, I genuinely don’t see Angus and Nacha being a thing. Sure one can make the argument that Francis and Nacha are a fling/exes/divorced but going off headcanons again, I do believe they actually have a relationship together. But for Angus and Nacha, I legitimately don’t see it. The most I can see them as are either acquaintances, rivals or friends. That’s it.

I know not everyone is gonna agree with me but it’s just my opinion.

So I'm curious for the tnmn fandom!

What is a headcanon/theory/ship you don't like and why? (If you have a reason for that)

He shakes Saeko's hand with his usual smile, this time it actually reached his eyes.

" Don't worry, I've met black cat people before. "

NEW OCS

Here’re my new TNMN OCs, Ambrose Nightshade and Saeko Aikawa. They’re dating each other. They’re also childhood friends.

They’re both in their late 20s (Ambrose is 27 while Saeko is 26).

Both of them are Japanese as their parents are immigrants, although Ambrose is half white on his father’s side. Saeko is 100% Japanese.

They live on F02-05. They’re the newer residents as they moved in a year before 1955.

Ambrose works as an undertaker.

Saeko works as a cook in a restaurant. She’s Nacha’s coworker.

Ambrose is a cold, apathetic man. He doesn’t care for many people besides his girlfriend, his cat and his mother. His bluntness, dry cadence and dark humour rubs off on people the wrong way. He might be a borderline sociopath as he lacks empathy and doesn’t respect authority figures. Many of the neighbours fear or dislike him due to his creepy nature. The feeling is mutual since Ambrose doesn’t hold any fondness towards them.

He’s also desensitised to death, given his line of work and considering how the death toll is on the rise due to the doppel crisis.

That’s not to say that Ambrose is completely heartless. He genuinely cares for Saeko in his own way and wouldn’t let anything bad happen to her. He also finds a way to provide for her and himself through various means (especially if Dr Afton and the DDD ask for his assistance).

Ambrose has a morbid fascination with death and mortuary sciences as he has many books about those topics. He also loves gothic literature and movies, cats, sweets, taxidermy, collecting oddities and macabre classical music.

Saeko on the other hand, is a warm, kind and friendly woman who is willing to help people and be compassionate to those in need. She’s also humble and prefers not to draw much attention to herself, although she’s rather passive aggressive and a bit mischievous.

She gets along with most of the neighbours. At first some of the neighbours don’t trust her (due to her race) but eventually warmed up to her due to her gentle personality. Many people find her cute and pretty (though this can lead to fetishisation of her race)

Make no mistake. Saeko isn’t some fragile flower. She knows how to fight back if someone tries to harass her and her boyfriend in some way. If she’s pushed over the edge, she’ll likely get violent and impulsive. She can beat you to a bloody pulp. She’s also Ambrose’s partner in crime since she helps him take photos of the deceased for him.

Saeko loves cooking, reading, singing, dancing, sketching, fashion, photography and spending quality time with her boyfriend and cat. Her personality may be different than her boyfriend but she does share his love for Edgar Allan Poe and macabre artwork.

Some of the neighbours wondered why someone as sweet as her would be with someone as bitter as Ambrose. Even they pitied her for being stuck with someone as creepy as him.

Other than being a morality chain to Ambrose, they both hold a deep mutual trust and care for each other especially after what they’ve gone they’ve gone through together.

And that’s all I have for them since I’m still deciding on their backstory 🖤

I should’ve written this much earlier but I got lazy so I might as well post this now. The reason I haven’t been posting as of late is because of uni. I still draw behind the scenes but not as often as I’d like because I gotta focus on my assignments and grades. Seriously, I can’t afford to fail and I need my degree. I do plan on graduating this year so this will explain why I haven’t been drawing and posting as of late. I’ll still post more of my AU lore here if I can but updates would be slow.

I wish I can post my drawings here and add more lore to my AU but that’s gonna have to wait till another day. I do have a lot of things planned in my drafts. In the meantime, feel free to send in questions for SK Francis and more questions about my AU if you want since my inbox is always open. I’ll try to answer them in due time.
