aka i finally sat down and properly drew those two vs my first attempt, where it was mostly just me conceptualizing them. so those of you who saw that first 1 hour sketch can consider it as beta version, this one is final one!

and oh yeah, the reason why i make an accent on the fact that it's DexM timeline is bc in 'killing for company', angel is older (like around 38 - 40) and harley is well ... a giant robot. i wanna draw those version of them as well, but firstly, i wanted to kinda get out my 'default' vision for both harley and angel out there, since that's how they look inside my mind eye (well, more or less of course, cuz i don't have enough skills to properly depict what i see to a t. but that's close enough!)

also angel's colors kinda remind me of mario games. idk why. but i love this association. as i like angel have a bit of low-key meta referance to protags of 70-80s video games.

Upgrades Despite the animal features Harley doubted he would be able to escape with Leith behind the design process, it was certainly a more dignified body to be seen in. He might actually feel good enough to walk around the upper levels and get some sunlight without care for lower individuals seeing him.

Just Might. He should probably pester Stella about getting clothes first.

Quinn had been fidgeting, or at least trying to, throughout the entire process. At some point he finally got control of a paw, and Sawyer's attention as he looked down at Quinn intently. "So bright" Sawyer muttered. Quinn felt a rush of warmth hearing this and waved his paw around more. He was bright! This feat was impressive if Sawyer thought so! "Based on the reading of transcripts it is possible that Sawyer's comment was simply a complaint about White's headlight."

Hi I saw that in your PPT AU the BBI happens in 2006 or 2007 meaning that kids like Theodore and Quinn didn't get turned into toys and are grown adults at this point but do they work for the company?

Heyo! as of right now everyone is about the same age as they would be in canon. I need to stop goofing around and make a proper timeline at some point. They were basically just born in the late 90s in this AU, making them still children at the time of the BBI. I have been thinking about some more ideas that this reminds me of. All still very up in the air. I have thought about certain characters being older maybe in their tweens/teens and brought to the location as part of a summer camp program for those in foster care funded by Playtime Co. where they're taken to go on tours and learn skills while making friends which is 'totally not' an entrance for child labor and ultimately their disappearance. I hope any of this makes sense. I should definitely get a wiki or something up at some point.

I also need to go page by page carefully on the canon wiki and make sure there aren't any super serious dates I need to explain for.

What if they were actual anthros though?

Leith being a furry wouldn't work anymore as a genuine motivation and overall funny gag for a lot of the AU if they weren't human, but it's a funny thought.
