…well, if you have to ask, you’ll never know. Clearly haven’t been paying attention! God am I mysterious or just high?

Anyway. Capricorn moon, euhhh… oh yes. We experience our emotions with the same intensity as a Cancer, 180* away. Cardinal water, cardinal earth; “opposition” implies distinction, but these signs exist on a thematic axis. It is not so much that we Capricorn moons are unfeeling, cold, logical creatures — we feel so intensely and deeply that it hurts and the smarter more practical thing, for our own self-protection, is to get over it. Suppress and succeed.

This is my blog. You will have to forgive me from the get-go: I am Scorpio rising ruled by 2h Capricorn Mars, conjunct the moon. I take in emotion like a sad scorpion sponge and it all goes through the Saturn meat-grinder.

Saturn is in 8h Gemini, ruled by Mercury (conjunct the sun) in 5h Aries, ruled by… Mars. And so on and so forth. Also, the sun and moon are exactly square.

The truth about ASC Scorpio

is that you are only a mystery to others because you are a mystery to yourself. You write Tumblr posts (public journal entries) in the second person. The Scorpio question is emotionally, what is mine and what is yours? Everyone experiences this question somewhere in their charts, but for you, it is in the very way you are perceived.

Personally I don’t like being perceived.

(Mind you I have Neptune in 3h Aquarius square ASC. All words should be enjoyed with a grain of salt.)

To your peers you are a subconscious threat. Or maybe you made that up because you have become so jaded. There is something dark, twisty, and subterranean about you — and people fear the unknown. In their posture, Scorpio risings are described as “hook-like”: tall, a prominent nose, hunched shoulders, and oh the eyes… what lies in their depths? In most lights, mine are pools of black. But at golden hour they glow golden-brown. I am learning to stare unabated.

You are, in fact, meant to be perceived.

All this to say—

something is fundamentally different about you and from where you come. Anecdote

When I was very young I remember waiting for my mother to come wash my hair. I waited and waited until I was shivering, listening to the sound of her vacuuming, knowing she would come eventually. After maybe an hour she finally walked in and said, “oh, Juju! I am so sorry! I completely forgot!”

All-knowing I am hidden but always watching. I am a snake, a scorpion, a butterfly, an eagle, a phoenix. I am earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust. I am fixed water, autumn at its height, death in bloom. Can the child in my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changing ocean tides? Can I handle the seasons of my life?

Well I have been afraid of changing. Nowadays I am just tired.

Cap moon quickie

OK, I’ve got Sagittarius ruling the 2h with Pluto + Moon/Mars in Cap. Moon in detriment, Mars exalted, both ruled by Saturn.

Saturn is in 8h Gemini, opposing Pluto.

I am Scorpio rising. Exalted Mars rules my 1h and 6h… staying active is very important! As I get older and learn more about astrology, I want to exercise regularly and maybe do yoga. My ADHD gets in the way but I am getting there, slowly… I am learning to sit with my shoulders back, but not too far, and visualise the string that begins at my tailbone and runs up through my spine to the scalp’s Midheaven. (28* Leo, fab hair. Best mane.)

Mars rules the Ascendant > Saturn in Gemini rules Mars > now where is Mercury? In Aries, conjunct the Sun, both ruled by… MARS? Oh my. And so determined were my three kings of rulership: relentless Mars, deceiving Saturn, and loud-mouth Mercury.

Anyway, what am I getting at? My knees hurt. Capricorn moon!! My knees!! They hurt!
