(if you haven’t read the final alterna logs this will make no sense) chose this bit of the song because of the repeating “believe” part, supposed to represent how he keeps believing and clinging to this hope that he can still bring the mammals back despite how insane his plans are also thought: “hey what if he found the mammals that died on the space shuttle when it crashed wouldn’t that be dark” over thousands of years of isolation can do a lot to someone have you heard his evil laugh at the bad ending he is not okay
