i haven’t really been active here because i’ve been busy with midterms and the exams are coming up. but i’m able to have a brief period of rest right now and another after my exams. also been trying to get back into reading.

11.09.2024 // day 202 // making the most of productive bursts.

been feeling pretty energetic and motivated this week, even getting out of bed before the sunrise as the days get warmer and longer. so I'm channeling that energy towards writing the 10k words I need to submit by december. i do not know when the next crash will happen. it's all a chaotic mess of rage writing but writing is the only way through which i can think.

Hey! I love your editing style! How do you achieve that? Any tips would be great.

i don’t really know how i manage to get the look that i want with my photos bc it’s a whole trial-and-error process. i’ve been using adobe lightroom for years now so i think it just became somehow easier to handle, but i did start off by watching tutorials on youtube. but for the most part of finding my style, i just use a reference photo with a filter i like and then i try to replicate it by playing with the settings until the edit more or less feels like the filter on the reference :))

hitting the ground running (at least trying to)

i may or may not currently be doing great at pulling late-night grinds. my mind is so alive but my body just can’t keep up so i just end up going to bed and rushing to finish my work last minute lol. at least i still get some sleep tho.

it’s exam season so i’ve been out for consultations and finishing up assignments with friends. i’m [so so so] glad to say that i’ve cleared up my tasks a bit so i could focus on my written exams for now:))

exams are fast approaching which means my view will be my table most of the time. my tasks are already piling up but i’m glad that i can still take things easy and find time to balance life and school.

not-so-fun fact: caffeine doesn’t have much effect on me. even if i drink an unsweetened black coffee i will still yawn immediately after finishing it lol

hi! thank you!! i’m currently studying (and trying to survive) architecture.

for the url, it was bc i was bad at creating cool usernames so i just used elements from the periodic table since i was also into chemistry back then. that’s why around the time i created this blog my usernames were either roentgenium or mendelevium lol

falling back into routine

it’s been a long while since i actually posted something academic in this account, or posted anything at all for that matter. i made this account before 11th grade and now i’m in my second year of college. so many things have changed since then and i’ve moved to different places twice to study. i admit that i still have a long way to make myself home in my program but it’s also nice to improve through little things even if slowly.
