Let’s Talk
I just came across a blog on here @talkingthatsmack that is dedicated to allowing “fans” to openly express their hatred and disdain towards Dean and Renee being in a relationship. I know it goes without saying, but these people consider themselves “fans” of Dean Ambrose. After everything that’s been going on and all of the speculations on what’s happening with Sasha Banks, I completely understand why some wrestlers have an antipathetic outlook on media and a particular group of fans. It’s perfectly fine to dislike or not be a fan of a wrestler (I’ve expressed my dislike for Ronda countless times), but when you purposely and continuously go out of your way to misrepresent them, disprove of a relationship that they are in, and spread lies about them, that is FAR from okay.
I’m a big fan of The Shield and you will never hear me talk bad about any of their significant others nor will I bring up their personal life on a regular basis. Why? Because these wrestlers live their entire lives in front of cameras and in the spotlight. They don’t even know what privacy is anymore. Of course it’s cool to repost or post a video or photos of these relationships (I do sometimes), but stalking and digging through their social media to find anything to feed your delusions is crazy. If you don’t like your favorite wrestler being in a relationship then that’s too bad. We don’t know them personally nor do we know what they are like behind the characters that they play. No one is faking a relationship (yes, this is for the Dean fans that think his relationship with Renee is a fraud) for attention.
This is Tumblr and yes, we speculate, yes we converse about certain things but it’s within boundaries. I don’t go for wrestlers personal lives and I don’t attack or bash them for who they choose to spend the rest of their lives with. Like how some delusional Aleister Black “fans” constantly attack Zelina Vega and devalue their relationship. This also ties in with the Sasha situation because you have some fans on here (and other social media platforms) that believes anything that they hear or read from these so-called journalist. Sasha isn’t a bitch and she is far from entitled. She is one of the few wrestlers that is willing to stand up for what she wants. She knows her worth and she is beyond tired of being mistreated and overlooked. She is the best wrestler they’ve got and hasn’t been used to her full potential on the main roster. Instead, she’s had short reigns and is a stepping stone for other wrestlers.
This also reminds me of situations where Roman has been touched inappropriately by fans at signings. No one is asking you to like the relationships that these wrestlers are in, but people need to respect them. If you like and care about these wrestlers as much as you say you do, respect them and the people they love above all else. They don’t owe us anything.
So, it’s creepy when you trash Renee because she’s married to Dean. It’s creepy when you trash Becky and Seth for possibly getting into a relationship too quickly when you know nothing about them. It’s creepy when you get touchy with Roman when he has a wife and kids.
It’s cruel when you call Sasha, Naomi and Bayley self-entitled because they are tired of being booked like trash when it’s the same thing we’ve praised The Revival and Dean for.
The relationships that the wrestlers are in are none of our business and it’s cool when they share their intimate and private moments with us, the fans. I hate to see when people take things too far, causing wrestlers to mistrust us with their personal lives. Just be respectful because it’s not hard.

Some of y’all bout to be real mad at me
{Wrestling Tea™️}
It needs to be said: it’s unfair for fans to tell wrestlers (especially female) to “shut up and cash your six-figure check”. I’ve never heard of anyone being complacent in the business of wrestling to this day. Becky wasn’t complacent with losing to Charlotte in key matches so she turned on her and became the Man™️ we know today. Now of course that was Vince pissing wild and actually landing in the toilet for once, but it makes my point all the same. I read articles on Sasha’s rumored departure and majority of the comments were about her whining about losing her title/being her own mark (what?) when that is FAR from the truth. I’ve seen tweets at Naomi telling her she was entitled (again, what?) because she was speaking out about WWE cancelling her matches and snuffing the opportunities of the other women.
It doesn’t matter that these people are famous, rich, etc. because they are HUMAN first! This is a job where they put their bodies on the line for over 365 days a year. Even NBA players have days off but not these people. Wrestlers are slamming through tables, ladders, chairs, bricks, jumping from 30+ feet, people have died in the ring for the sport and you mean to tell me they can’t freely express their unhappiness? They only do this for your entertainment so you can shut them up when they’re dissatisfied? No ma’am. Their words should be honored because of the sacrifices they make everyday just to get a reaction from us.
If I’m working away from my family for over 365 days a work-year and that’s past an actual year, with fans all in my business thanks to social media, going out and landing hard on different parts of my body, getting hit with weapons and risking injuries, not to mention the people in charge of my character neglecting me and disregarding what I have to say, only to go to the people that are supposed to be supporting me to see them tell me to shut up and “stop being entitled”? I’m taking the next flight home.
Even if you skip the whole thing, read this: No one signs up to get abused. Nobody willingly asks to be abused, no matter how much they’re getting paid. Respect these wrestlers, man. They’re doing this for us. It may be their dream, but their dream is to entertain us. All that glitters isn’t gold. Don’t be a dick.

Ambrose left and was praised for it. The Revival wanted to leave and were praised for it. A black woman wrestler stands up for herself and wants to leave and is dragged to hell and back for it.
