World Building Pt 7: Powers pt 5 Villains of Valley View
To start us off I'm gonna repeat the same message I put on my other parts:
I think we can all agree that there are some discrepancies when it comes to powers in the shows. The biggest ones being the inconsistency and OPness of some of the characters. Now please keep in mind that these are my fanfic headcanons and they follow the rules of World Building Pt 1: Power Systems. So if you haven’t read that you might be a bit lost.
Plus a new message specifically for this:
Ok so this is where the power system changes because the VoVV doesn’t work with any other shows. It doesn’t even work with Mighty Med or LabRats who had the same creators, so this is getting an edit to mesh everything even a little smoothly. That said if you haven’t read my other world-building post this is not really going to make any sense.
Amy
Amy has acoustikinesis which is the ability to manipulate sound waves. Unlike Mika(DF) or Kate(LR) she can control soundwaves that she did not create. She can still do a sonic scream like the others but she isn’t limited to that. She can use the frequency of sounds to hypnotize people or cause an earthquake/tsunami. Her only holdbacks are her immaturity and unwillingness to deviate from her families moral stance.
Jake
Man’s got super-strength and that’s kinda it. Like Adam(LR) he often deals with accidental destruction due to misuse of his powers. Strength wise he is stronger than both Oliver(MM) and Hank(Thundermans) but only slightly. Skylar(MM) and Adam(LR) could beat him in an armwrestling match.
Colby
Ok so Colby’s whole ‘chosen one’ thing is so stupid. Like come on he’s just a late bloomer who’s parents decided to make up a lie to either make him feel better about it or mess with him. That said while I’m tossing some powers, he is keeping a few, just not to the degree they once were. To start out with Colby is a shape-shifter, he can change his form to match that of people, animals, and objects. This actually technically makes Colby a better shape-shifter than Rodissius and his kids(LR:EF) who can only take the form of living things. Now obviously Colby doesn’t have a ‘swarm’ form where the shifter could combine with others so in that aspect he is weaker, however his shifts are a lot more solid and acuate. This is why he gets stuck sometimes, his shift is a complete replica.
As for his other abilities Colby does have a form of superspeed, enhanced healing, and levitation. His enhanced speed is nothing compared to the actual speedsters, however he is faster than Henry(HD). Similarly while he does have levitation he cannot fly or anything, his ability is mostly used to break or slow down his fall. Outside of that he can only hover a couple inches off the ground. Colby’s enhanced healing only kicks in when he gets seriously hurt or looses a limb, so it is more of a safety net than anything. If he were to get a papercut or skin his knee the healing ability wouldn’t do much, however if he got stabbed or something his body would lessen the wound till it’s no longer life threatening.
Judith
Starling is very interesting power wise, she has Temporal Manipulation and Aerokinesis. Temporal Manipulation is the ability to control the flow of time, however she never really does that. Now this could be her being a very controlled hero, but I like to think her ability is a lot less than full temporal manipulation. Instead she only has the ability to pause the flow of time and can control who or what that pause effects.
As for her Aerokinesis, Judith can use her control over the wind and air around her to allow her to fly and she can condense it to use ranged attacks.
Vic
Vic is… difficult to say the least. His original power was Thermokinesis, the ability to manipulate temperatures through molecules. However when he fell for Eva and was disowned from the Thomas family, a well known hero family line similar to the Thundermans, Vic’s powers were removed as an act of disownment. Vic goes almost 18 years without his powers which definitely added to his madness through stress. As we see through many superhero shows, loosing powers is basically the same as loosing another limb is an incredibly stressful event and the level of desperation individuals who loose their powers have to get them back drives them mad.
In Power Struggle(S2 Ep10) Vic gains a new ability, his new ability is actually connected to his original one as the both have to do with the manipulation of molecules. His new ability is Kinetic Energy Manipulation, the ability to manipulate the motion of a being or object. Through learning how to use this new ability and reconnecting with his brother, Vic regains his original ability alongside the new one.
Eva
Eva has Electrokinesis. Theres not much to add in regards to her abilities, she is pretty equal in strength to Barb(Thundermans) with the only major difference being her level of control. Being a villain whose main goal is to cause as much mayhem as possible Eva doesn’t have the same control as other electrokinesis users. Now it is important to note that this lack of control has more to do with her not caring enough than her being weak, she gives no cruds and just wants to cause pain and destruction.

World building Pt 7: Powers pt 4 Dangerverse
To start us off I'm gonna repeat the same message I put on my other parts:
I think we can all agree that there are some discrepancies when it comes to powers in the shows. The biggest ones being the inconsistency and OPness of some of the characters. Now please keep in mind that these are my fanfic headcanons and they follow the rules of World Building Pt 1: Power Systems. So if you haven’t read that you might be a bit lost.
Plus a new message specifically for this:
Ok so this is where the power system changes because the dangerverse doesn’t work with any other shows. It dosen’t even work with Thundermans who are canonically the same universe so this is getting an edit to mesh everything even a little smoothly. That said if you haven’t read my other world-building post this is not really going to make any sense.
Henry
Now Henry’s power mishaps begin in Indestructible Henry(S2 Ep 10/11) where he goes through the machine that activated Ray’s Super-gene. I’ll go more in depth about the machine in Ray’s part but for now just know that the machine never makes people indestructible it just causes stress on the persons body and force activates their Super-gene. Now due to the gene being force activated before it was ready to it cycles through some abilities previously held by his ancestors. Schwoz is then later able to dampen the severity of the cycle until its ready to activate correctly. In Hour of Power Schwoz removes the dampener hoping that Henry is closer to his correct activation and Henry gains his hyper-mobility(I refuse hyper-motility it sounds so dumb). In A New Evil/Darkness/Hero Henry looses his hyper-mobility, regains it, and then looses it again. While he does temporarily ‘loose’ his hyper-mobility its less that he lost it and more that they ‘anti-virus’ re-dampened it. Once Fate of Danger happens he regains his hyper-mobility and gains his force field from the stress of both the event and the gas he and the Danger Force kids were exposed to activating their Super-genes.
As for the actually powers themselves, Henry is faster than a standard Human but no where near a speedster level. The closest to speed to his is Colby(VoVV) who is still faster than him. What puts him above the other speedsters is his hand-to-hand combat skills. The only ones who could beat him in a fight are Bree(LR) and Skylar(MM) who are A. Physically stronger and B. More experienced.
Henry’s Force Field is very interesting as it’s activated by him tensing and acts less as a barrier and more of a repelling shield. He is a very defensive person and we see how this is molded into his character through out the series. His force field is very malleable and we see that as he learns to control it. In Return of the Kid(S1 Ep8) his force field is only used around himself whenever he tenses, however in the movie he gains more control of his force field and is able to manipulate it in various ways.
Charlotte
Charlotte is shown to be a sorta cyborg at the end of The Fate of Danger(S5 Ep 40/41), which sure thats apparently a thing and thankfully I can work with it. With Bionics being available in my verse she isn’t a cyborg instead she did an internship at Davenport Industries and met Douglas who physically doesn’t know how to fix something without adding bionics to it. So Charlotte gets injured in a lab accident and now has bionics. As for what she has, she was given a Bionic Eye, Energy blasts, and a majority of the analytical bionics. Database, GPS, Sonar, Hacking, Scans, X-ray, etc.
Jasper
Ok so Jasper is kinda interesting, he’s got the whole sleep fighting thing which until recently there wern’t many non-joke representatives for in media. I definitely think that after Brawl in the Hall(S4 Ep2) both Jasper and Charlotte started combat training, nothing serious at first but as the dangers grew they felt the need to be prepared. He’s pretty good awake but when unconscious he looses all inhibitions and is able to physically see everything around him. Jasper is also an empath, if he is emotionally close to a person he can sense their emotions from 20ft away, otherwise he needs to make contact with them.
Ray
Oh boi time to get into my thoughts on the Trans-molecular Densitizer that turned Ray indestructible. The machine itself does have the ability to make objects permanently indestructible, however when used on a living organism the effect is temporary unless they have the Super-gene. If they have the Super-gene the machine force activates the gene causing the person to cycle through different abilities before landing on the permanent ability(They are still temporarily indestructible). In Henry’s case he gained fire breathing, the only difference with Ray was that his permanent ability was indestructibility so regardless of what activated it he would have gained his ability anyways. Similarly, Drex only stayed indestructible due to his ability which gave him crocodilian physiology similarly to Killer Croc(DC). Henry and the other test subjects didn’t retain the indestructibility, in fact the other three test subjects did not have the Super-gene and thus had adverse effects.
Missy
Okay so Missy, she does have powers but not in the obvious sense. Missy has Clairvoyance and Literary Animation/Illusions. She is able to create illusions by writing stories and the stronger her emotional connection to the story the stronger the illusion. While they are illusions that doesn’t necessarily mean they aren’t real as said the stronger the emotional attachment the greater the ability to manipulate reality. Like her bringing Henry to her by writing her fanfic wishing Kid Danger was alive.
Chapa
Chapa has electrokinesis and while she isn’t as strong as other electricity users that is mostly due to inexperienced. Given time and training she could become one of the strongest. In the same vain her being happy doesn’t get rid of her powers it’s more so she just doesn’t know how to use them when not in a negative emotional state.
Bose
Now Bose is probably the weakest telekinesis user, especially compared to Chase(LR), Alan(MM), and the Tundertwins(Thundermans). This isn’t necessarily his fault though, Bose has a hard time focusing which is crucial for telekinesis. As he gets older and learns how to adapt and cope with his disabilities he definitely gets stronger.
Mika
So Mika is basically Black Canary(DC), she has a sonic shout. The difference is she has the power but not the decibel range. Mika is able to control the strength of her sonic blasts as time goes on.
Due to being twins Mika and Miles do have a similar ability though not to the level of the Thundertwins. Their ability revolves around time. Mika has retrocognition so basically she can hear echoes of the past, not quite flashbacks as a lot of information and context is left out. They appear like faint whispers only she can hear.
Miles
Dude Teleports, that’s kinda it.
Now as for his other ability, Miles has precognition. With his ability to see into the future though, like with his sister he doesn’t have much clarity. He can only see, his other senses don’t pick up the additional information.
Buddy
So originally Buddy doesn’t have any actual powers, its all the suit that Schwoz created. But that’s less fun, so instead the suit Schwoz made was designed merely to stabilize him after radiation exposure activated his volatile Super-gene. Similarly to Bakugo(BNHA), Buddy can create and manipulate explosions.

World Building Pt 7: Powers pt3 Thundermans
I think we can all agree that there are some discrepancies when it comes to powers in the shows. The biggest ones being the inconsistency and OPness of some of the characters. Now please keep in mind that these are my fanfic headcanons and they follow the rules of World Building Pt 1: Power Systems. So if you haven’t read that or any of my other posts you might be a bit lost.
Phoebe & Max
First up are the Thundertwins themselves. Being twins their power sets are basically the same: Telekinesis, Freeze Breathe, Heat Breathe, Thundersense, Enhanced Durability, and EMP Generation.
Their Telekinesis is probably their most used ability. They are both very focused people so their control over their telekinesis is very strong. They also tend to use it as an extension of themselves which is probably due to how long they have had it. Aside from maybe Alan(MM) they have had telekinesis the longest. This definitely makes sense when it comes to their control, they are shown to be able to levitate objects including themselves and other people, redirect other people’s ranged powers, and can even divide their attention to control multiple objects at once. This shows just how much the Twins have mastered their telekinesis.
Now their Freeze/Heat Breath is kinda interesting. I’ve read some fics where Max’s heat breathe is stronger than Phoebe’s and vice versus with the freeze breathe. And I really like this to an extent, so I’m keeping it. It’s shown several times in the series that they each favor a specific breath over the other, most notably in the episode: Revenge of the Smith(S4 Ep20) where they are depicted using their favored breathe. Sure this could definitely just be for stylistic reasons but I believe its just what the artist saw them doing the most. In this vain there have also been mentions in these fics of the twins acting as counterbalances for each other emotionally, morally, physically, and temperature wise. Basically Max runs warm and Phoebe runs cold.
Next up: EMP Generation, this is kinda self explanatory. The only difference is that it now actually acts as an emp. It is only ever shown 3 times, when its first revealed in The Thunder Games(S4 Ep31/32), briefly in Thundermans Return when it fails and in Thundermans: Undercover: The Parent Zap(S1 Ep4) when Hank and Barb accidently activate it. Now actual EMP’s work(this is a massively simplified explanation) by producing a nuclear explosion that causes a large voltage or current surge that causes a short circuit of a majority of electronics in the area. The distance effected is different depending on the altitude of the epicenter. With all shown examples happening while the twins have contact with the ground that means the blast radius would be shortened to maybe 5-10 miles. In addition the EMP wouldn’t be able to blast through the bars of a cage or anything it would only short out the machines holding them so I’m changing that so the EMP actually acts as an EMP. This would also mean that it might mess with any electrical based supers abilities which I plan to explore.
Billy
Billy is pretty simple he’s got Super speed and enhanced durability.
Now his speed isn’t the fastest, its stated that he is able to speed around the world in 1 minute, however he's not faster than lightning, in order to circumnavigate the world in 1 minute, moving along the equator, he would need a speed of 1,494,060 MPH, whereas circumnavigating the world from either the North or South, would need 475,080 MPH, lightning travels an average of 270,000 MPH. On top of that he is able to out speed Nora’s lasers which granted could be more so due to him knowing her and being able to anticipate her movements over him being faster. In the overall scheme of things though this would make him slower than Bree(LR) and Skylar(MM) but faster than Henry(HD) and Colby(VoVV). Which I think is a solid place for him.
Nora
Nora’s whole thing is her lasers and despite her temper her heat vision is incredibly controlled. Just like the Twins with their telekinesis, Nora is able to control the output, intensity, and form of her lasers. Which is undeniably impressive especially early on in the series. Additionally unlike Adam(LR) who has drawbacks from his heat vision Nora dosen’t have any making her potentially the strongest heat vision user, the only exception is maybe Skylar(MM) however her powers never return to their full strength.
Chloe
Chloe is the youngest and only really has teleportation. Additionally for a majority of the time we don’t really see her do anything other than poof between places. What I’m getting at is with other teleportation users they have a signal when the teleport A.W.O.L.(DF) punches his fist into the air and The Bubble(MM) literally appears with bubbles. Chloe dosen’t have one so I am giving her a sassy little finger snap. I have no other notes on her teleportation just add finger snap.
Now post Faulty Powers(Thundermans: Undercover S1 Ep2) I think she deserves some lasting effects and out of the powers she rotated through I chose invisibility. At the start of her life her families whole thing was hiding who they are, them its revealed and she is raised in the spotlight. Now in Secret Shores she is having to adapt and hide again. So her having invisibility here makes sense and adds some more room for power themed mishaps as she’s never delt with having invisibility before and this could potentially open a doorway where they need to get in contact with a certain relative ;).
Link
Link is a little difficult, he is only around for one season and his power is just Elasticity. Now with in that his elasticity is more Reed Richard(Marvel) or Elastigirl(Incredibles) than Plasticman(DC). He stretches but can’t like melt/shapeshift.
Hank
Hank is literally just Mr. Incredible. Thats it. Thats all I got.
Barb
Barb has Electrokinesis and like the rest of the family she has incredible control over it. The only times we see her do things accidentally are if something is off. Compare her control to Surge(VoVV) and Volt(DF) she is in control all the time and probably stronger.
‘Thundersense’
So the whole 'Thundersense' thing doesn’t even work within the confines of the show so it’s getting overhauled. Like the enhanced durability all Supers have a super-sense. It operates as a sorta sixth sense that something is going to happen. They don’t know what, when, where, or how bad all they know is something will happen.

World Building Pt ? : Hero League Rambles
Ok so I’ve been trying to flush out the Hero League and how it functions specifically when merging Mighty Med, Thundermans, Henry Dangerverse, and VoVV. So welcome to my ramble. Hope you enjoy.
The main problem I've found is that most irl examples of superhuman leagues are far more team based or incredibly localized. The only ones that even remotely work as a foundation are certain versions of the Justice League(DC), Legion of Superheroes(DC), Avengers(Marvel), Hero Association(One Punch Man), My Hero Academia, The Incredibles, and The Heroics(We can be Heroes). Unfortunately with most of these we don’t actually get to see the inner workings all we see is the aftermath of decisions made.
Out of the sitcoms the Thundermans gives us the best look at what their Hero League does. Now going off of what we see we can assume that Super President Kickbutt is incharge of the USA branch of the Hero League. We rarely if ever see or hear of any of the characters interacting with the world outside of America, which granted, mostly is due to these being American based shows. But for the sake of world building I believe this is because issues outside of USA is outside their specific jurisdiction. This makes more sense when we look at Link who was transferred suddenly to Hong Kong. He was transferred to a different branch of the hero league and stationed there. With Link, him having a known villain(retired or not) was probably grounds for him to be emancipated and transferred as far as possible from the negative influence.
This also makes sense when we look at how powered entities outside of the Hero League operate. In MM we are shown that while Alien heroes are treated similarly to other heroes due to not being from earth they are able to operate with in their own jurisdiction. Some choose to work with in the League but when off of earth those regulations no longer apply as the are outside jurisdiction. Similarly with the LR's, who operate as their own entity in between Supers and humanity, we see them bounce around the globe like special forces soldiers solving issues wherever they are told to.
For the MM kids outside of Alan, who is well Alan, they don’t really have an example of a proper Hero League teen super. Skylar is an Alien, Spark was insane, and Experion was evil and also an Alien. Meaning Alan was their only example of what a kid growing up in hero society looked like and Alan wasn’t even on the track to be a hero. If anything he was more on track to be a nurse/Dr like his uncle and even then he never seemed to enjoy it. So the EF having minimal understanding of Super society outside of the hospital and Aliens makes perfect sense. Even Kaz and Oliver, who are well versed in comics, probably don’t know much about the behind the scenes of super life. The comics showing hero and villain lives through fights makes sense but them doxing all of hero society doesn’t. So they are in the dark for the most part and that probably causes a lot of conflicts.
Now in my verse, prior to reveal, all superheroes shown registered to the league(with capes) are either 18 years of age(or their branches version of legal age), a different species, or emancipated. When it comes to the Thundermans siblings it makes sense that they and other super hero family kids are able to get their capes early. After all they have family already registered and have grown up in the super environment. This also makes sense on why the capes in 'Cape Fear' seem to be able to be taken away after minor infractions, they are probationary capes for supers that are on the path to be heroes. In contrast the HD and DF kids got their powers in their teens and only really had Captain Man as exposure to the hero world. Especially with Henry we see him moving away from the traditional hero image and never truly form a relationship with the hero league. Whereas with the DF kids we see them have a slight relationship mostly due to publicity but with Cap Man being more on the outskirts of hero society and Henry staying away from the hero league they never seem to fully immerse in hero society.
This does however mean that the Dangerverse kids can act as a middle ground between the factions. The Thundermans siblings are (mostly) full force heroes, The VoVV kids are (majoridly) villains, and the EF crew have limited knowledge on whats going on. It’s a recipe for disaster and hilarity.
Thanks for reading my little ramble. I just needed to get the words out of my brain. If you haven't read my other World Building posts you might be a bit confused so please go check those out.

World Building Pt. 7: Powers pt2 MM
Part 2 baby! I'm quickly gonna repeat some stuff from part 1:
I think we can all agree that there are some discrepancies when it comes to powers in the shows. The biggest ones being the inconsistency and OPness of some of the characters. Now please keep in mind that these are my fanfic headcanons and they follow the rules of World Building Pt 1: Power Systems. So if you haven’t read that you might be a bit lost.
Now on to Part 2: Mighty Med
Skylar
So Skylar is kinda difficult due to how OP she is and the fact that she is an Alien. If you remember the rules I established in World Building Pt 1: Power Systems well they kinda don’t apply. Due to being an Alien Skylar doesn’t follow most of those so this is what I came up with for her.
Her Alien abilities/attributes in the wiki are Acid-spit, Enhanced Metabolism, Limb Regeneration, Super Durability, Enhanced Healing Factor, Enhanced Senses, and Enhanced Agility. Now the things I’m identifying as actual Calderan Attributes vs Super Powers is majorly based on what she keeps after loosing her powers to the Annihilator.
All of these are shown and mentioned prior to her powers being restored and I imagine that she still has the more enhanced ones as just dulled down versions. Think Deadpool(Marvel) vs Spiderman(Marvel) healing factors as an example. She still heals faster than normal but if its anything really big shes not going to be fine 10 minutes later. Though I do kinda imagine that the limb regeneration happens similar to Deadpools’ in the movies just minus the raunchiness. So her normal stats are still better than humans but muted a bit. Plus according to the wiki despite having enhanced senses Calderans can’t see in the dark which is kinda interesting so I’m keeping that.
Also Acid Spit. Because wth why does she have acid spit. It’s only mentioned once in LREF and never again. That along with the fact that she has literally kissed other characters on the cheek tells us that its not a dangerous corrosive acid. I believe it’s more of a mild irritant type of thing, but in the poison oak/ivy kinda way. Like yeah it sucks but its not fatal and you can develope a resistance to it. Certain people may react negatively to it which is why it’s treated with caution, but some people are kinda immune to it and don’t react at all ;p
On to her actual powers. According to the wiki she has Ionikinesis, Force field, Flight, Super Strength, Super Speed, Portal Creation, Explosion Creation, Chronokinesis, Pyrokinesis, Invisibility, Laser Vision, Electrokinesis, Intangibility, Gyrokinesis, Caelestikinesis, Petrification, Size Alteration, Telekinesis, and temporarily a Kiss of Death.
Now we barely see any of these used and quite frankly she is stupidly OP. That said some of them make sense for her character like Super Speed and Ionikinesis. Kaz and Oliver are the only real range attackers on the EF team and for most of it they kinda suck so I think her having some energy based abilities really works for their team. I will be getting rid of Portal creation, Explosion creation, Chronokinesis, Pyrokinesis, Caelestikinesis, and size alteration.
For her Super Speed, Strength, and Flight shes basically like a Kryptonian(DC) which lowkey fits her Alien on Earth vibe. Otherwise most of her abilities are mostly energy based. She has laser in both her eyes and hands, she can release that energy in a more unstable way through electrokinesis and use that to paralyze people or protect them, she can disappear at a moments notice, and she can manipulate gravity and move objects. She’s still badass and a bit OP but her powers don’t necessarily overshadow anyone elses’ anymore.
Kaz
Kaz is fireboy. He’s got Pyrokinetic powers and Flight and for what we see that kinda it. However with Oliver getting Super Strength it kinda feels odd that Kaz only has those so I’m giving him a healing factor. This balances them out and also prevents Kaz from dealing with sever smoke inhalation/burns. Which lets be honest he probably needs. The powers kinda compensate what they need the most and with Kaz’s well Kaziness him having enhanced healing is probably necessary. Its not like a deadpool(Marvel) or wolverine(marvel) level healing factor, more like a Captain America(marvel) healing level.
Oliver
Oliver is pretty similar to Kaz. He has his water/ice thing, flight, and strong. Now while he isn’t nearly as strong as Adam or Skylar he is pretty dang strong again think Captain America vs Spiderman in terms of strength(hes Cap in this scenario). His Hydro and Cryokinesis is a bit harder to identify strength wise due to the limited use we see in EF but my best guess is his Cryokinesis is similar to Killer Frost(CW Arrowverse) and his Hydrokinesis could potentially become similar to Aqualad(Young Justice TV) where he can manipulate weapons out of water.
Alan
Alan is on her because, ….well sorry thats spoilers. What I will tell you is that he gets redemption and trauma. Now Alan’s powers are pretty simple he can transform into animals(an awesome power) and has telekinesis. Which works well with his need to hide and his need for control. I am going to give him an additional power though, intangibility. You may be asking why I would ever give such a power to him to which i say shhhh spoilers :)

World Building Pt 7: Powers #1 LabRats
I think we can all agree that there are some discrepancies when it comes to powers in the shows. The biggest ones being the inconsistency and OPness of some of the characters. Now please keep in mind that these are my fanfic headcanons and they follow the rules of World Building Pt 1: Power Systems. So if you haven’t read that you might be a bit lost. This is going to be ongoing so this part is just LabRats
Adam
According to the wiki Adam has Super Strength, Super Jump, Heat/Flame Vision, Super Durability, Plasma Grenades, Blast Wave, Water Breathing, Pressurized Lung, and a Mental Link.
Super Strength is kinda Adams whole thing and while most superheroes/villians have enhanced strength in some way, his is kinda different. In the LR vs MM crossover Adam was shown to be able to overpower The Crusher who apparently is the Strongest Human. Therefore, I think Adams strength operates on unstoppable force meets immovable object rules. Basically his strength calibrates to combat whatever he is coming into contact with. Thus making him able to overpower even the strongest of foes. Now he doesn’t have conscious control over this, which is why he is consistently breaking things and why we see these fluctuations. The Super Jump is a part of the strength think Supermans leap tall buildings in a single bound but more SuperBoy for the Young Justice Cartoon.
His Heat Vision is another commonly used ability of his. The Flame part was originally shown as a glitch and I kinda wanna keep it that way. One of my favorite headcanons is that Adam needs glasses and my main reasoning for this is that due to the damaging effects of the flame vision glitch his vision is permanently damaged and continued glitches makes it worse and worse until he is forced by Douglas and Tasha to get glasses. He is very farsighted(can’t see things far away).
Plasma Grenades and Blast Wave are barely ever shown and when they are its usually an accident or glitch. This accompanied by the fact that they are shown with a similar affect leads me to believe that they are connected. The plasma grenades are most likely a condensed version of the blast wave and with more practice he eventually gains control of them and can use them more frequently. The full Blast wave on the other hand probably requires a lot of energy so after using it Adam is pretty much fried.
The Water Breathing and Pressurized Lung are kinda self explanatory, but I always found it odd that Bree and Chase didn’t know about it. I mean Rats on a Train(S1Ep3) Mr. Davenport  has the test extremes and prepares to have Adam be submerged in water. So I don’t think it was the Breathing he was training but instead he was training Adams resistance to water pressure. The Ocean is deep and to be able to go to the depths of a Submarine without being crushed is insane. So instead of them being surprised that he could breathe instead they are surprised he could go that deep as he hadn’t reached that depth before in training.
Now the Mental link and Durability are only going to be mentioned on Bionics. Supers have a natural extra bit of durability and the mental link is through the Chips. I really think they should have used the mental link more, not just for missions but for the lols. I mean come on its a mental link and they are teenage siblings. If I had the ability to terrorize my siblings with show tunes I’d do it with out hesitation. So yeah absolutely more of that.
Bree
According to the wiki Bree has Super Speed, Enhanced jump/wall crawling, Invisibility, Durability, Vocal manipulation, and a Mental link
Super Speed is her main thing and like Adams strength it’s different that other speedsters. Unlike other speedsters she dosen’t experience time discrepancies, she’s the one moving fast the world isn’t slowing down for her. Thus she isn’t on the same wavelength as others and moves just as fast if not faster. This dosen’t save her from the same drawbacks as speedsters, she has difficulty stopping and turning, if not focused she experiences sever vertigo, and she does have a enhanced metabolism. Due to the fact that time isn’t really slowing around her as she runs she trained to be able to quickly identify her surroundings, she dosen’t have the time to look closely at things and look at minor details. However, due to time not slowing for her, she isn’t nearly as jittery and easily bored as others. She still is a bit because ADHD gang but not nearly as bad as other speedsters.
The Enhanced Jump and Wall Crawling go with the super speed. Her jumps arn’t nearly as powerful as Adams because its her speed and continues motion not really jumping. Same goes for the ‘wall crawling’, its actually her body vibrating and producing energy similar to a static cling that keeps her up. If she stops her speed she will fall.
Her Invisibility is less of her actually disappearing and more of you not being able to see her. Her body (minus clothes, Suit can match her but not normal clothes) shifts to a light frequency that is unable to be seen by the naked eye. The only one who can usually see her when shes invisible is Chase.
Vocal Manipulation. I like to think its more of her vibrating her vocal cords to make certain sounds then her chip copying sounds. Similar to a mockingbird or Lyre Bird.
For Mental link and Durability go up ^
Chase
Chase has the most abilities of the bionic trio, Super Intelligence, Force Field, Commando App, Enhanced Senses, Bionic Eye, Magnetism, Enhanced Durability, Molecular-Kinesis, Levitation, Laser-Bo, and a Mental Link
Starting with his ‘Super Intelligence’. Now I never liked how when they took his smarts away he became an idiot, he took after Douglas and Donald the most out of the siblings so I believe he is genuinely very smart. Probably an honor student even without his powers, and has a photographic/eidetic memory. What his super intelligence does is boosts that and allows him to organize what he knows into useful little mental folders. Anything he needs to know outside of that he can access through his chip and the wonders of the internet. Overall though without the chip he’s still really smart but like a kid with ADHD who is off Adderall for a day his once neat folders are now scattered and papers are everywhere. So it’s gonna take him a sec to figure things out.
His Force field unlike other supers isn’t really malleable. He can move it, grow and shrink it, but he can’t chang the shape. Its a circle, a bubble if you will. Other than that it operates pretty much the same as other supers.
His Enhanced Senses and Bionic Eye allow him to take in more information than the average person. All of his senses are dialed up to 11 and he often has trouble adjusting to new places and frequently has sensory overloads. It’s actually easier for him out in the field because he is constantly monitoring his senses, but at home or when he’s just out n about and he isn’t expecting sudden changes it shocks his system. If he needs to focus on one specific sense he taps the area (ie his temple, behind his ear, the bridge of his nose, his lips, or his index fingers).
Molecular-kinesis. Now the definition for actual molecular-kinesis is that it allows the user to manipulate the molecules of an object, which is not what Chase does. FireStorm(DC) is the best example of a hero that actually has molecular-kinesis, and personally I think if Chase actually had it he would be way to OP. What he has is telekinesis and while it is a lot more precise and powerful that others with the same set I believe this has to do with his concentration. The Levitation and Magnetism kinda go along with this. I don’t believe he actually can levitate especially since he only ever does it once, Instead I think he just applied his telekinesis to himself. The magnetism is pretty straight forward, he attracts and repels any magnetic metal. He can shape it with telekinesis but not the magnetism.
Laser-Bo. Just Laser-Bo. Ok for real though it functions like a staff and I believe its made out of the same energy as his force field. It’s not hot or anything its just condensed light and energy.
The ever famous Commando App. Now I’ve seen many takes on this and I agree that the reason Chase has Spike is because the trio are Fight(Adam), Flight(Bree), and Freeze(Chase). If Chase were to freeze in battle he and his siblings are dead, thus Spike exists. If he gets into a perceived dangerous situation and his response is freeze Spike takes over. It doesn’t happen as often as it probably did due to Mr. Davenport training his instincts to be fight or flight, but if he is startled or in a big confrontation he sometimes freezes. Such as in Spikes Got Talent(S2Ep9) where he is embarrassed on stage, one of the most common reactions to stagefright is to freeze, which he did. Or in Commando App(S1Ep2) when Trent and Perry get in his face and yell at him.
Leo
Now Leo is a bit interesting because he canonically has only a bionic arm and leg. While he eventually gets full bionics it dosen’t happen in the main series, instead it happens when LREF happens. In Leo fashion(and to not divulge too much) he gets himself into a dangerous situation and something falls on him. Douglas being Douglas and only knowing how to fix something by adding bionics does that and thus he is bionic like his siblings. He can now use the laser sphere with both arms, his entire body is now more durable, and his energy transfer ability can be used on any energy source now.
Marcus
Marcus being an Android complicates things slightly. In my fic Leo and Daniel go back for Marcus post The Vanishing(S4Ep25-26). They along with a guilty Douglas fix Marcus and after some much needed family therapy Marcus joins the team(Adam, Leo, Daniel and Marcus). His abilities kinda shuffle around and most only appear once and then never show up again. Post LR he has Laser Vision, Telekinesis, Electrokinesis, Enhanced Speed and Strength, enhanced senses, invulnerability, and has weapons embedded in his skeletal body.
Daniel
Daniel is another difficult one since he only shows up towards the end in a handful of episodes. Overall though I believe he only has the Power Replication ability. I think that even by itself it is an amazing ability. Especially because he isn’t replicating the ability at the point of development the others ability is at. Which means he can individually train each ability and when he needs to borrow it again it will still be at that enhanced level.

World Building Pt 6: Codenames
So I’ve been reading a bunch of fics recently, and I really like how writers are giving characters that are given bad codenames and/or no codenames better ones.
That being said I do not feel creative enough for that. Please if you have any ideas or suggestions please please let me know. Now on to my current thoughts:
The Thundermans: So like we all kinda agree that while Phoebe being called Thunder-Girl kinda makes sense with her character, Max being called Thunder-Boy or Thunder-Guy is dumb. He would absolutely hate that. Not just because of the obvious tie to his twin but also the tie to his fathers hero legacy. Throughout the series we are clearly shown his disdain for being in the shadow of both his sister and father. That being said; I have no clue what his proper codename should be. I’ve seen some fics where he’s given names like: Dark Thunder, Rouge, or Dark Knight. However, none of those really have the vibe I’m looking for. Maybe something like these would work for his ‘villain’ codename but not his final morally grey anti-hero one. Same goes for the youngest of the Thunderman siblings, Chloe. They originally give her the name of ‘Thunder Baby’ which seems more like a cute nickname but come on by the time she’s like 10 she’ll probably hate it as a codename. I saw someone say that her new codename should be Jumpstart which I really like so maybe something similar to that. Also Link is never given a codename despite getting his cape and being assigned to Hong kong!? Seriously why wasn’t he given one?? That being said I have no clue what his should be. I can’t give him the same name as another irl stretchy hero. That feels like a disservice to all the characters.
Henry Danger/Danger Force: Henry’s lack of codename originally kinda makes sense I mean he is canonically legally dead. However I think that given the environment of Dystopia, everyone in Team Danger would have one. Especially since the others are all still legally alive. I've seen things like Cyborg or Professor Danger for Charlotte, El Luchador or Doctor Danger for Jasper, and Flux or Detective Danger for Henry but I’m not really sold on any of these. I like the ideas but I’m not sold on any of these names. Ideally, Charlotte's would be more tech/intellectual based. For Jasper’s I do plan on keeping the whole ‘sleeping Lucha Libre’ vibe with the vigilante side to his character. Henry's I am totally lost on. All I know is that I want his character to be a darker grey on the morality scale. Also Piper needs one as well. She’s much more Barbara Gordan Coded in my verse not in like the romance or disabled way but the badass behind the computer who is put there because otherwise she is a danger to herself and others way. So she needs a codename.
Lab Rats/Mighty Med: First off Skylar Storm is keeping her name, obviously. She has her own comic series and movies its too late for a rebrand. Now this might be slightly controversial but I don’t think that Bree, Chase or any of the bionics would have codenames. I mean everyone already knows who they are and that they’re bionic so what would be the point? Plus this would be another point of separation/conflict between the Bionics and the Supers. Kaz and Oliver on the other hand definitely need codenames. Personally of the ones I’ve seen, I really like Frostbite for Oliver. I feel it fits his slightly darker and edgy persona post MM's destruction. Kaz once said he was thinking of Match-Head which is okay… I guess. But I’d like something a bit more dynamic for him.
VoVV: There are only 2 I have for this one and they both bring in another issue which is in-verse copyright. I fully agree that Colby’s villain name should fit in better with his siblings. Flashform while a cool name, doesn't really work as well with my verse's characterization of him. However, the main one I’ve seem suggested was Mayhem. Which unfortunately is unavailable due to Dark Mayhem’s existence. I was looking through synonyms for Mayhem, chaos, and havoc, and I came across Discord. I think it has a nice ring to it: Chaos, Havoc, and Discord Villainous Siblings. But let me know your thoughts. Now on the subject of in-verse copyright I bring our other issue which is Surge. I did some in-depth research of the different codenames used in the different universes to make sure there wasn’t any overlap. I genuinely have a master-list for this which let me know if you want to see that at all. Anyway in Mighty Med there is a Superhero who was both name dropped and seen called Surge. Thats where the similarities end with the characters but due to this I feel odd about them both being called Surge. So if anyone has any alternative electrical themed names for either of them please let me know. Now interestingly enough, Surge and Flashback are the only codenames that overlap. Given the nature of Flashback and the overlap in references to him in MM and HD, I’m gonna just meld them to be the same person.
Thank you for reading and Thank you sooo much for your support with this project. It’s been a lot of fun. Also seriously let me know your thoughts and if you wanna see my codename master-list.

World Building Pt. 5: Capes?
Ok, so this is kinda an odd one.
I’ve been thinking about costume designs recently. The worlds' all kinda have different rules and like the other lore I’d like to stream line it. This post is specifically about: Capes.
In The Thundermans we’re informed that having a cape is a big deal. “Superhero Capes are special capes awarded to superheroes by the Hero League after passing superhero training, defeating a supervillain or saving somebody's life”(quote from The Thundermans wiki). Meaning that all USA Heroes sanctioned under the Hero Leagues control must have capes.
However certain powersets make having capes incredible inconvenient and/or dangerous(the Incredibles certainly taught us that). Therefore I propose that instead of a full cape a lot of heroes have fashioned their cape into various accessories. Things like a bandana, ribbon, belt, or scarf. This still shows their pride as heroes but keeps the capes out of the way. Some obviously still have full capes but I feel a majority that do are the older generations of heroes.
I imagine that out of the Thundermans Hank, Barb, and Phoebe are the only ones to have full capes. Chloe and Nora have half capes that end at their elbows, Billy and Max have belts(yes Max has a SHCape).
Skylar Storm due to being an alien and loosing her powers probably wouldn’t have a cape. Same goes for the rest of the EF crew. They are operating outside of the Hero Leagues jurisdiction and so they probably don’t have SHCapes. However I imagine that the MM trio do have cloaks and shawls as an homage to the Fallen Heroes.
I don’t believe that Henry or any of the Danger Force kids would necessarily have capes. Maybe in the future the DF would, but Cap Man has a SHCape. Now I’m a little torn here on whether or not its a full cape. On one hand its Captain Man and he has the Full Cape energy, on the other a full cape and hand to hand fighting like he does would be a liability. On the third hand I don’t think he’d care enough about said liability and would be absolutely obnoxious about it. Let me know your opinions on this.
Starling obviously has a full cape and I imagine that Blue Granite also does because come on the man has the same full cape audacity to him as Cap Man.
As for villains, vigilantes, or anti-heroes while they may have things like cloaks or other accessories, due to them not being under the Hero League they don’t have ‘Superhero Capes’.
On a bit of a darker side I also kinda think that they took a page from Camp Half-blood and all the SHCapes are Bright frickin’ Orange to better identify allies and/or corpses in the field.
Let me know your thoughts on my theories and I have been playing with the idea of drawing everyone's costumes in my verse so let me know if you’d like to see that.

Thank you so much for this information! I did some research and it seems like the irl Centropolis, KS is a very small rural community with a population under 1,000. Unfortunately this doesn't really work with the Big City to suburbs vibe I'm going for. However now I'm thinking of having Centropolis in Missouri bordering on Kansas. So thank you for this!
World Building Pt.4: Actual 'world' building
So obviously we know that most of the towns and cities in the shows don’t really exist. However, some of them have stated specific regions and states where they are set such as Mighty Med taking place in Philadelphia, PA. As for the others such as Swellview I did a little sleuthing to figure out roughly where each of these take place based on little things mentioned in canon and weather patterns.
The Lab Rats home of Mission Creek is another easy one because they at one point it is stated that it’s in California. I’m not stopping there though, personally I believe it takes place in SoCal near Orange County. Which given the climate it would make sense that the Bionic Island is just off the coast in Baja California. This would also mean that Tasha and Leo, assuming they arn’t transplants, would use SoCal slang. However, I don’t believe the trio would necessarily have Cali accents. Maybe Bree would to fit in more, but after living so long detached from society I believe that Adam having only really heard Donald for the longest time would share his accent for the most part and Chase probably dosen’t have a definable accent. He has a computer in his brain and access to every bit of slang/inflection that has ever been recorded. So he probably dosen’t speak with much of one. He might have picked up more Cali slang and gestures from his time with Leo, but I doubt he uses them unless specifically talking to Tasha or Leo.
It isn’t ever brought up were Centium City resides, but based on the fact that it appears a lot colder and is the home town of both the Davenport brothers and Principle Perry. I believe that Centium City is in the state New Jersey. Perry has a lot of stereotypical qualities(I apologize to anyone from NJ, I’ve never been and all I have is media for examples) that kinda makes me think that she would be from there. Also could you please imagine Perry, Donald, and Douglas with Jersey accents. Incredible. I think that the brothers have probably lost a good bit of there accents from time away, but whenever they are near each other or are particularly emotional the accents come out in full force. Otherwise Donald probably dosen’t have a  very definable accent due to all his traveling and working with a wide array of people, and Douglas probably has nothing but different bits of mixed up slang due to his colorful environment.
Henry Danger/Danger Force were a bit difficult until I rewatched the Game Shakers x Henry Danger crossover special. While discussing places to go Kenzie brings up Swellview and states that its in ‘The Heart of America’. While many states can try to claim that they are the heart of the country, the only one that is usually agreed upon is Kansas. Climate wise it also makes sense as swellview has shown to be rather windy and Kansas in right within Tornado Alley. This means that Swellviews hilariously named neighboring towns also take place in Kansas. All the characters (with the exception of Schwoz) would also use more Kansan slang as all of them have stated to have lived in the area their whole lives. Which leads me to bring up Dystopia where the original Danger Crew moved to after S5. All we know about Dystopia is that its really dangerous and kinda nearby as Henry seems willing to get there without the use of Miles’s powers. Now for this I looked up where the most dangerous cities in America were and I’m so sorry Missouri but you guys have several cities in the top 10 list. It is also right next-door to Kansas.
Like HD/DF the Thundermans home of Hiddenville doesn’t have a named state. It also appears to have a fairly neutral environment. Initially I was thinking of Tennessee but all things considered there’s a distinct lack of countryisms (I know not all Tennessee is county music and farm life but it still dosen’t quit fit). Then I was thinking Washington due to the ‘Land of 1,000 parks’ bit(According to google Seattle, WA has 874 parks), but theres a lack of mountain ranges. However, it’s the closest I’ve got to a real answer so I’m sticking to it until I find more evidence. Even if Hiddenville is in Washington, I don’t think any of the Thundermans(with maybe the exception of Chloe) would have any slang or dialect from there. The family transplanted more than likely from a different state to go into hiding. Given that Metroberg is basically the Capitol of all USA Supers, I think it would probably also be in Virginia nearby D.C. Meaning the family would have similar accents and mannerisms to Virginians. At least in the beginning, later on the kids probably adopt the slang of those nearby.
Finally Villains of Valley View. It’s already mentioned in the show that Valley View is in Texas, but like the Thundermans the Madden family is also transplanted and on the run/in hiding. While it’s never truly stated where they came from we can infer from some details. Eva has a very noticeable British accent so she probably moved to the US as a young adult. I don’t know what it is but for some reason Vic gives me NorCal vibes specifically Sacramento, CA. I have no clue why but he does. I imagine that after they unofficially wed(they couldn’t legally get married as wanted criminals) Vic and Eva moved to the Bay Area where they did some villainy and started their family. I don’t have a name for the town/city where they grew up yet, but I am absolutely accepting suggestions.

hi, love reading your world building posts but just wanted to point some things out about dystopia, feel free to completely ignore all of this because its your story but I wasn't sure if you were aware of the following: dystopia is referred to as being "on the other side of the world" at least twice
henry asks charlotte if she "even knows how to speak dystopian"
when we see dystopia it looks to be based off of south korean cities such as seoul whenever henry does show up in swellview without miles' help he talks about having taken a plane there or being there for work for all these reason i naturally made the assumption that dystopia was either a city or a country (based on having its own language) a decent ways away from america. whenever henry shows up its for a very specific reason, except for "the guardians of the ponytail" in which it was implied at the end of "a henry among us" that he wasn't going to be returning to dystopia and instead was going to go out and hunt drex - whether he based himself in swellview after that or in a surrounding city / state, it is unknown, but it would explain why he can casually show up after that episode. again, no pressure whatsoever to listen to any of this but I just thought it would be interesting. love your theory on swellview being in kansas!
Thank you sooo much for your feedback!
I'm admittedly not as well versed in some of the Danger Force lore as I am for the other shows and missed a lot of this. I do think I'm gonna keep dystopia in the US mostly just so that the Danger Crew can run into the other groups more often as well as having Henry under the Hero League's control(spoiler breadcrumbs). This does give me some ideas as to the vibes of dystopia so thank you for that!
If you have any other feedback feel free to message me I'm always up for new ideas!
