"Man..." Everything felt different, now that the adrenaline slowly wore off she felt the tension in her shoulders drop. That was it, like the Sin said-- a life ended so easily, things thrown at his corpse in mockery by some in the stands. She wondered why royals preferred living like this, do die for nothing in the end.

"SHE IS VICTORIOUS!!! THE PRINCESS WINS!!" The young Sinner leapt out of her seat, throwing the rest of the violet roses onto the field of the coliseum as she clapped above her head. She was almost the loudest person in the row she shared with Phel and others.

She saw the blade go right through his neck, nearly beheading him in the process as she took the life from him. Watching it drain from his eyes was something that sent a shiver down her spine. Her friend was truly capable of cruelty, and showed everyone her rightful place amongst their ranks. And here, this princess was, a dear friend of a lowly Sinner with nothing more to provide than her words and support. The victor was about to rewrite history as they knew it, even if the Sin said: "Hey, let's get lunch now."

"Unfortunately, I'm not a demon-- wasn't raised a demon, buddy. But, I know that she's been instructed to kill him by all of us. I can't imagine this being so easy... if either of them hesitates I wouldn't be surprised because that's literally the other's family." The way his voice sounded, it was unlike him. This side of Phel, perhaps this was the true horror of Phel and the true side of him that she was unaware of. Deep down the Sinner knew his knight status affected much, but to see him emotionless-- deep down emotionally unstable-- she kept her hand over his squeezing harder. "You taught her some moves in case, didn't you?"

Phel's stillness and severe stare didn't falter for an instant. It was almost as if he was not acknowledging anything around him whatsoever. Though, at he sound of a familiar voice, he spoke in a low dark tone- the sort often reserved for only the most dire of threats. "She is going to kill him. Do you know the sort of conditioning the goetic knights have to undergo to prepare for what murder does to the mind? She may leave this arena unharmed but she will not leave it unscathed."

"GIVE HIM HELL, OCTAVIA!!!"

Practically threw the roses into the crowd as she stood to her feet, screaming at the top of her lungs.

"FUCKING KILL HIM!!"

Lucianna sat equally as still for a time, clutching the roses she brought just for the two of them. Oddly enough, she felt herself not shaking even though her body was telling her to tremble. Her mind needed a minute away from the everything going on, that's why she looked to Phel ; the husband that didn't want to be a widower this evening.

But, she had to put her big girl smile on to keep everything together. That's when she placed a hand over Phel's hand that was on top of the cane. "Have faith, it'll be okay. Like Via says, it'll all be perfectly okay. I'm here with you, Phelly."

Duedephelon sat as still as he could. For all the world it looked like had been petrified in place. Not a twitch of his feathers or even the movement of breathing was visible. He clutched the worn stone sphere at the top of his cane with a grip that looked like it was going to crack it.

There were no words. Just anticipation and fear.

She's not sure what to make of the upcoming battle, only holding a small bouquet of violet roses in her hand. Oh, how she hopes to be able to give these to her after this. And not to place them on the grave of her beloved Goetian friend.
