The one I referenced happened to be laying on the ground one day while I was walking my #Art supplies to their storage in Venice. The book gave me a lot of #inspiration and it’s a good read only if you want positive uplifting material. My #art adventure has brought me too many stories. From obstacle stories to life stories to meeting interesting character stories. The one here has not been written or told because I’ve been too active the last few months and it happened about two months ago & somehow slipped my mind until now. .(insert drum roll here) . One day I got to an event late, didn’t get a good spot and about the same time I arrived another vendor did, we ended up getting spots next to each other & both complained about the spot they gave us but if i’ve learned anything, that I need to remind myself constantly of, it’s that a road block only means there’s something better. . As the day went on we talked and the older dude has grandkids and all that and somehow we got on the subject of myself meeting generation artists and wanting 2nd generation rose rollers one day. For whatever reason what he said came back to me clear while driving tonight it went something like “You’ll have kids and see those kids do what you do better than you ever did” also “When you look at those kids and the woman you love all the struggle of life goes away” , They were simple but powerful words.
