❝ Woah ! Space is so cool ! ! ❞ She tugs on Shiro’s arm as she looks outside the windows of the castle. // THIS PLACE IS HUGE ! ! ! Asuna couldn’t hide her excitement as she let out the first real laugh she had since before her planet was taken over by the galra. ❝ You get to see this every day ? That’s amazing ! ❞

Even after getting the okay from her doctor Asuna still found it hard to walk around for more than a few minutes without her legs aching and losing her breath. A hand reaches out for the shoulder of the boy next to her to try and stabilize herself. ❝ Kiri--- I mean Kazuto, where exactly are we going ? ❞

Ever since Asuna got out of SAO and ALF it wouldn’t be odd to see her sometimes trying to summon a menu out of the air or saying a random system command because that’s what she’s used to doing. Adjusting to the real world was a shock to her mind and body to say the very least. While she always tried to remain cheerful if she ever did it in front of her friends she would feel guilty and get mad at herself, because she always tried to be the one who appeared to move on and accept the whole thing the most.
She also uses a lot of SAO lingo around her family for the first few weeks, thinking that they’d understand it but only getting scolded by her mother and worried looks from her father. The nightmares she gets never really go away even two years after the fact, the incident will forever be ingrained in her brain. While she got a lot of good experiences from it she also got a lot of pain and irreversible damage from it as well.
