wasn't ready to wake up to the news that we lost a rock legend last night and wasn't ready for it to be Scott Weiland. I grew up knowing every STP song by heart and having the Contraband album by Velvet Revolver in the car for every road trip. blessed I got to see you in concert but can't believe that just last night I got Purple in mail and how I was going on and on about how it's my favorite album in the world as I had it on repeat. can't believe this happened to my favorite at 48 :( I love you tho #ripscottweiland

Metallica recording st. anger video

The “St. Anger” video, directed by The Malloys, was shot in San Quentin State Prison, California. The band played at various locations in the area to hundreds of enthusiastic inmates. It is also the first Metallica video to feature bassistRobert Trujillo who joined just prior to filming
