My infographic! All finished up and ready to follow! I made these with left over frosting for my birthday party last year and they were a huge hit, so I thought I’d share!
I’m going to try to fix the weird shifted orientation, but other than that I love it! I’m a lot more familiar with illustrator too because of this, a few more tips and tricks under my belt :)

Infographics
Children typically read infographics as pretty pictures, and the words mean almost nothing. The pictures are easy to manipulate as positive or negative so it would be really easy to show a kid an infographic that means something good and paint it in a harsh light.
I’m not a visual learner, but in my everyday life I really like them for looking at different styles and historical events without having to sort through all the words and terminology I might not know.

Today was a day for the instructors to lecture us on our future while we gazed helplessly ahead at the darkening screens of our computers, reflecting our dead stares that drove our peers to insanity.
But really
We have to complete this Spreadsheet to plan for college, and it's looking pretty grim. Cash money seems to be the  name of the game college wise.
We got to learn a few new things in Excel and on the Google version, but mostly it was review and work time for this project.
Also, they introduced DYB, a virtual game where we build fake computers to battle each other. That's the second screenshot and I'm kinda worried because I don't remember anything from that unit. oops.

Angle wise I took my pictures straight on most of the time, and the keyboard one was from above. I liked the bottom one with Liliana best, because it's the one that seemed to turn out the best. For the editing I mostly changed the contrast, lighting, and blur/sharpen. I used almost all automatic, but the one with the tree is manual.

Light Graffiti!
Today we did two pieces of light graffiti and combined them in Adobe Photoshop. obviously my two pieces were the flower bit and the stem bit. Combining them was super easy, but the drawings themselves were harder. Firstly, our flashlights only had two shades of red unless you smacked them really hard on the table a couple times.  Then, when you're doing light graffitti you cant really see the thing you're drawing, so that makes it difficult for non-artists already. My original idea was a spider on a spider web but then I realized how nearly impossible that is to complete without an eraser, and I kinda just said, oh well. Here's a flower.
Now to answer the actual questions, I really liked the camera I looked at the Canon EOS rebel. I learned to look into what type of lens is included/if a lens is included, because the EOS Rebel comes with the option of body only or with a lens pack. Also to look at the exposure times. The EOS Rebel does offer a 30 sec exposure, which is good for light graffitti, but some may not so to continue doing light graffitti I should check that aspect as well. My favorite candy is Twix

Audio day 2
Today we started to put together sounds in Ableton. I started with a drum kit, and got a heartbeat like sound I really like. Then I added a viola and I'm still working on the tempo for that one.
I really enjoy this unit, now that I kinda get what to do. I think I may use my current project as my final.

Leadership
My idea of leadership mostly revolves around one's abilities, whereas other's seem to revolve around one's charisma. The idea that a leader has to have certain social graces or that people have to like them is a new one to me, although I suppose it makes sense. While one could lead just through a power play, why would you when you could do it just as easily through charming the general populace? However the ability to lead is still an important one, even if you're charming. How can you lead if you have no self confidence, or no vision?
My ideas are more like postindustrial views, because I am more open to change. Postindustrial views seem to be more open to altering ideals and societies, whereas the other seem to be very stagnant or at least stubborn. I prefer the flexibility because people change and people have no idea who they will be until they try the changes. I believe it lets people grow and explore themselves more, leading to healthier happier lives.

If money was no object I would go to University of California, Berkeley. They have great women's, psychology, and sociology degrees and they are so far away from Madison it's awesome.
Over the next year I am going to try to join more clubs andactivities, along with signing up for AP classes in areas of interest.

Choosing a college I really want a mid to large sized college,  because I dislike too-small groups. The Majors that would be most important are Sociology, psychology, and gender studies because I'm still trying to figure out which one I'd like but these are my top three. I would prefer a college far away enough that family can't just drop in but close enough that a weekend/holiday visit would still be possible. Colleges I'm interested in would be UC-Berkeley (sociology) or UM Amherst (Gender Studies)

My 3 highest interest areas are investigative, realistic, and social. I ended up agreeing with it. I've always know I wanted to help people and I've always been very curious about the scientific and technical aspects of psychology.
The career I identified with most was the therapist, because I've been considering that option for many years now and would love to go into that field.
The career option I identified least with was the judge, because I hate conflict.

My  showcase project was on The Mystery of the Ink Stained cactus, a fictional story made up for little kids to solve. It was made in PowerPoint, and then revamped to look less like a PowerPoint in the same program.
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, but it still looks a little flat. I was happy to add sound and experiment with transitions, and that made it flow a lot better.
I would have liked to record my voice, but I didn't have the equipment or voices to get that done this time.

Today we finished off our websites with CSS ( the colors and designs, etc.) and the last of the HTML (content). I'm pretty happy with how mine turned out, but I want to eventually add my own pictures. The first three images above are CSS, HTML, and HTML. The next are all the finished website.
I really liked this unit. It made logical sense and I could still create whatever I wanted from it. The con is that I can't remember most of the code we learned, since it's kinda complicated.
I don't know if I have the program we did this on( Notepad ++) at home, but other than that I think I would be able to do this again. It's actually kind of relaxing, so it isn't a hard thing to do for me, but it does take a good amount of time. I think hat I would do it too, cause it was pretty fun.
What do you call a snobby criminal going downstairs?
A condescending con descending.

Today we continued HTML, and I'm halfway through my cake decorating website's HTML. Next time we have CSS and the last of the HTML.

This is my planning sheet for my final project, which will be a site that has information on how to build a layer cake. My site will have four pages: Main, layers, frosting, and fillings.
To day we did more HTML and CSS things, more focused on the CSS side though. I really like the HTML and CSS and the orderliness of it, so this has been a really fun unit for me.

Today we did HTML coding. The top photo is a sample of some code that lead to a "seating chart" style website on the middle-left. The remaining 3, clockwise, are HTML coding to try and replicate the ITA internship page, which is shown on the bottom right. The remaining photo is the HTML edited text that was copied from the ITA website, and my attempt to replicate it's formatting.
I really like the orderliness of HTML, and how consistent and easy it is to use.
