DP X DC prompt
â ⧠â
Batman was arguing with Redhood near the edge of crime ally about territory (something along those lines). Jason was super frustrated because B just refused to actually listen to him, when suddenly he heard some shuffling from behind them in the alley way. They both turned around to see a very stunned looking teenager that Jason knew wasn't there before. It's also strange because he usually recognized most of the kids around crime ally, but he didn't know this kid. He looked over to B with a 'am i going crazy' look because he was so sure this alley was empty a few moments ago. To Jason's surprise, B is looking in horrified shock at the kid. Seeing a kid around these parts wasn't that unusual. He looked back at the kid in confusion. Only when the teenager angled his body slightly differently did he understand. The kid had been fucking stabbed in the gut.
â ⧠â
Danny fucked up. His parents learned about his secret identity and now he had no where to hide. His parents and the GIW were after him both as Phantom and Daniel Fenton. He'd been hiding out at Sam's house, but they found him. He'd mostly dodged what should've been a lethal blast from an ecto-gun on his way through a portal to the ghost zone. None of the ghosts there were able to help him with his injury. Unfortunately he was not in his phantom form when he was hit and none of them knew how to treat his human side. He knew he couldn't go back to his original earth, as they'd destroyed all the portals. He would just have to find a natural portal hand hope to the ancients that it would take him somewhere good.
Danny fell on his face coming out of the portal, but he could hear people speaking english nearby, so hopefully, that was a good sign. He got up and turned slightly around to see two grown men both looking at him in surprise. yeah he guessed it would probably be a bit weird to find a teenager had just appeared out of thin air basically. They hadn't said anything to him yet, so he guessed he should... introduce himself? He didn't know what else to do in this situation. He turned towards the two men and was about to say something when the one in the red helmet inhaled sharply all of a sudden. He was confused before realizing he forgot about the whole reason he came here.
Shit.
He should really get to a clinic or something.
â â§- ✠-⧠â
Yay! my dpxdc hyperfixation is back!
Bruce & Jason: oh no this kid has been stabbed by a criminal in gotham and we were just arguing about something that doesn't really even matter.
Danny: why are they looking at me funny? oh right. i forgot about the gaping wound in my torso
You can interpret this and change it as much as you like! If you like, you can credit me for writing the prompt, but you certainly don't have to.
I might use this prompt for my own fanfic one day, but I want to write more habib first :)

Superman, the Father of a Tyrant
The Observants prided themselves on their foresight. They guided Ghost King Pariah Darkâs reign, curbed his excesses to some extent, and prevented the Ghost Zone from descending into chaos...most of the time.
Now, however, they faced a unique problem: Pariah had an heir after his defeat at the hands of the Halfa. Heirs of kingsâespecially dictatorial, war-hungry onesâneeded careful guidance to avoid repeating their predecessors' mistakes. The goal was not to teach them how to rule, but rather how not to.Â
Before them stood infant Daniel "Danny" Fenton, also known as Danny Phantom, the hero. After the Ghostly Incursion War (GIW) bombing of Amity Park, they picked him up and took him to Clockwork. Now, they had to consider his future. They also had to consider how to prevent him from becoming depressed. They did just that by turning him into a child with Clockwork's help. It was much kinder that way, as no one in Amity Park had become a ghost from the anti-ghost bomb that the GIW had used. They had to make sure he is taken of.Â
One Observant floated before the Council. "It is decided. We will send the heir of a tyrant toâ"
Another Observant blinked after their leader finished to explain. "So they can learn from the worst?"
"Precisely. The mistakes of one mad ruler will be the lessons of the next. As we know that the other heroes would save the child and once he becomes king they know what to not do as Ruler. Seeing all the evil that Tyrant did. But still be ready to finish the job."
There was a murmur of agreement. After all, if a king was a dictator, the council only advised; they didn't make choices for him. Best of all, if the heir was out of the Zone, there was less paperwork.
After a brief and highly questionable magical procedure, Pariahâs heir was transformed into a human infant.
"Who shall we pick?"
The lead Observantâs single eyelid narrowed. "We don't really have a list, but I know just the man."
Clark and Lois's Apartment â Morning
Clark Kent was in the middle of making coffee when a green light suddenly filled the kitchen. An enormous floating eyeball appeared, holding a swaddled baby.
Clark blinked. "That's new."
"You are Kal-El," the observer intoned, "also known as Clark Kent."
"...Yes?"
The Observant unfolded a scroll with one of his hands. "Husband of Lois Lane?"
Clark frowned. "Yes, Iâwait, why are you reading my bio like it's my Wikipedia page?"
"Here it states," the Observant continued in the same flat tone, "that you murdered her and your unborn child."
Clark froze. âWhat?!â
"Yes, after the Joker tricked you into it, of course. Also, Metropolis was destroyed by the nuke the Joker used. You executed the Joker in prison before Batman and then became a cruel tyrant who still insists he is a hero.â
âExcuse me?!â
The observer tilted its head. "Oh, wait. What year is it?â
Clark, still in shock, told him. There was an awkward pause.
"Ah," the Observant said. "We appear to be early. My apologies. We'll come back later, once everything has happened. It's time to search for another tyrantâ"
A burst of green light appeared, and the baby vanished with the Observant. A thick file landed with a thunk on Clarkâs kitchen table. Across the cover, in bold letters, was written: INJUSTICE: THE REGIME.
Clark opened it. Each page was worse than the lastâtranscripts, photos, battle reports, and atrocities. His hands trembled. He had seen dark futures before, but this...this was about him.
Then the green light returned. The One Eye being floated back in with the same baby.
"On second thought," it said, placing the infant in Clark's arms, "you are perfect for our purposes. Raise him as an example of what not to do as a tyrant. Ensure he learns that power must be balanced with mercy.â
Clark stared at the baby. Bright blue eyes blinked up at him. Tiny fingers grabbed his cape.
"Iâwhat?"
"Temporary arrangement," the Observant said. "Until we find another tyrant. Where he can life under."
Then, it vanished, leaving Clark alone, holding a baby and with a horrifying knowledge of his possible future.
Fifteen minutes later, the Justice League's communication line rings.
Ring. Ring.
"Pick up! Pick up! Pick upâ"
A click. "Clark," said Batman's gravelly voice. "What's the emergency?"
Clarkâs voice was tight. "What's your plan if I go insane and the Joker tricks me into killing Lois? I kill him. Then Metropolis gets nuked and I establish myself as a global tyrant."
"That's oddly specific."
âA floating eyeball from another dimension just dropped off a massive file documenting my descent into madness and left me with a baby!â
There was a pause on the line. "Describe the baby."
"Human. Black hair, blue eyes. I have no idea where he came from. They said Iâm supposed to teach him not to be a tyrant."
âI have a plan,â Batman said at last.
"That plan is not 'take the baby,'" Clark warned.
"... Fine. Iâll make a new plan.â
"You seriously had a plan to take a baby if I were given one?"
âYes. For all League members. Itâs in the file labeled Parental Failure Protocols.â
Clarkâs jaw dropped. âYou have plans to take babies from everyone?â
âYes.â âHow many oddly specific plans do you have?â "Several dozen."
"Bruce," Clark groaned. âThereâs being prepared, and then thereâs being incredibly paranoid.â
âDo you want my help or not?â
Clark sighed and glanced at the baby, who had tangled himself in Supermanâs cape and was giggling. "Yes."
Later that night at Wayne Manor:
Bruce examined the child's DNA using the Batcomputer. "He's not from our world. I can tell you that part of his DNA is human; the rest, I'm not sure about."
"Neither was the floating eyeball," Clark muttered.
Alfred appeared with a bottle. "If Master Kent insists on keeping the child alive until the tyrant's plan is resolved, he should learn how to feed the child."
The baby let out a soft coo, and his eyes glowed faintly green for a moment before returning to their normal baby blue color. Bruce noticed.
"This is going to be a problem," he said flatly.
Clark crossed his arms. "He's just a baby."
"That's what they all say," Bruce replied, turning away. "I'm still not sure how your parents hid your powers." Try telling people you know he's a meta baby and see if that works."
Somewhere in the Ghost Zone:
The Observant floated back to the council chambers.
"Has the heir been placed?" "Yes, in the care of Kal-El." "Excellent. Will he learn humility?"
The lead Observant hesitated. "...Possibly. Either that, or Superman will learn to never become a tyrant in the first place. Either outcome is acceptable."
The others nodded.
After all, the Ghost Zone's paperwork load had just been dramatically reduced. The young heir was no longer there to bring chaos. As Clockwork didn't do anything, it must have been part of a plan.
Back in Metropolis â Two Days Later:
Clark sat on the couch, rocking the baby. According to the name stitched into his blanket, his name was Danny.
The future loomed large in his mind. The file sat on the coffee table, unopened since the first day.
Lois walked in, having returned from her work overseas, and raised an eyebrow. "Whose baby is this?"
Clark looked at her, deadly serious. "Lois, we need to talk about the Joker."

Heir to the World
Years ago when the justice league was still a new thing, the doctors Fenton had been worried it was another ploy of a group ghosts to manipulate and trick people only to hurt them in the end.
They had already gone through a whole investigative ordeal when the justice league of America first started so they had perfected their methods, this time things would go a lot more smoothly.
They gather samples of Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman and the Flash.
They don't bother with Green Lantern cause he's obviously just some human guy with a special ring.
When Green Arrow makes his debut they wonder if they should detour and get a sample of him too but he's also obviously just a dude with a bow.
Ironic how the heroes with Green in their name are clearly not ghosts.
Anyway...
Analysing takes a while, and the Fentons aren't known for being very lab safe, so when a sample goes missing they tend to assume the other was done with it and disposed it properly.
In reality the sheer amount of pure active ectoplasm has taken a hold of the samples and is mashing them together in an attempt to properly manifest into existence.
It sadly can't get much further than a "larval stage" with the resources available.
But still, it's an eventful day when the doctors Fenton and their toddler daughter wake up to what sounds like the cries of a baby coming from the lab.
There they find a little baby boy with black hair and blue eyes, and as they coo and fuss over the child they simply don't care where exactly he came from.
The rest of the world cares though, it cares a lot.
The seas whisper of a new heir to the throne, the weavers of fate gasp at the new threads that get spun and send a message to the queen, the speedforce ripples with a new wave of potential.
Yes, the world cares, and it's only a matter of time before things can no longer be ignored.

Jazz with De-Aged Triplets of Danny, Dani and Dan. They move to Metropolis. And Jazz made the mistake of not looking at them for 10 seconds.
And now Superman is out her door, holding three - very obviously not human looking - siblings and asked if they were hers. Because, if she was understanding this correctly, at the timeframe she looked away from them - they had somehow gotten out.
Turned Ghost, flew to where Superman was fighting Lex and some other Robots, before bashing them all in as 5-year-old Ghostly Toddlers.
Introduced themselves as Danny, Dani and Dan.
And now the public is calling them the real life 'Powerpuff Girls.'
Jazz needs a break.

Phantom has joined the Justice League, and helps them break into CADMUS where they found a Superman Clone. They didn't just clone Superman, either.
They found another clone, a young girl. A splitting image of Phantom right beside them. She was younger than the Superman clone - and a girl. Physically 12, but she looks scared - unlike the young man. Worried even.
But despite that, Danny doesn't see a clone. He sees a young girl, scared - confused, and worried. He's not focusing on Superman or the other Clone, and he's toned out their conversations.
He's not gonna leave her alone, no. He's gonna care for her.
She's alone and scared, like he was when he first became a Halfa. And he's not gonna do the same to her.
^0^
This is an interesting What-If situation where Dani wasn't created by Vlad. But instead, Danny joined the League a year after Pariah Dark. He's the Ghost King, and Amity Park is finally safe with some usual troublemakers.
We'd have two scenarios of Superman and Danny dealing with their new clones, and Danny being a parent, wooo! And I also don't want Superman bashing, but more like Superman learning and understanding from Danny's POV with how different he feels about Dani and Conner.

CameraMan [Dead Tired Prompt]
After a revelation gone wrong, and with the help of Team Phantom, Danny starts a new life as Danny Nightingale. But the thing about starting over is that you're broke as fuck. And trying to get a decent job in Gotham is like looking for help in a haystack.
By divine intervention, a newspaper hits Danny in the face as he's walking back to his shitty apartment in Crime Alley.
«Gotham Gazette has a vacancy for a photographer. Position secured if you get a clear shot of any of the Bats and Birds.»
Danny knows this is his moment, so he pulls a Peter Parker: Using what little money he had left (a gift from Sam before leaving), he buys the most decent camera he can afford and, using his powers, takes the most impressive photos he can of the vigilantes.
Danny doesn't know how difficult it is to photograph them, so when he shows up with his briefcase full of these photosâ needless to say, he's shocked that the newspaper's publicity stunt was real.
Thus begins CameraMan's journey, being closely followed by a certain Bat who is very intrigued by the mysterious and hot photographer.

I said, do you think you'll kill for me one day? Yes, of course I will, my darling [Dead On Main Prompt]
You know how people say, âFear the wrath of a kind manâ?
Well, the Infinite Realms have the same saying, but instead of a kind man, it's a guardian spirit you should fear.
Guardian spirits are pretty chill in general, butâ The moment you prick their obsession? The moment you do something bad to the thing they're protecting?
They'll remind you that they're also known as one of the most vicious types of ghosts you can run into.
Danny moves to Gotham thanks to winning a full scholarship to Gotham University. He moves into an apartment in Crime Alley, and there he meets Jason, his next-door neighbor.
They just click.
Jason even reveals he's the Red Hood before they start dating, and Danny feels increasingly confident in revealing his halfa status and helping Jason with his undeveloped core.
Everything's going swimmingly.
So of course, that's when the Joker has to break out of Arkham, kidnap them, and broadcast the hostage situation live.
Danny is barely regaining consciousness when his core is hit with RAGE-FEAR-HELP-HURT that comes from Jason's weak core.
Ghostly instincts take over Danny, and the moment that fucking clown enters his field of visionâ He just lunged at him.
And even though the feed is glitched, all of Gotham is witnessing the Joker's death.

This prompt was born from an idea for a scene that's been living rent-free in my head:
It's just Danny and Jason lying on the warehouse floor. Danny, stunned, staring at his hands because he's just killed for the first time in his life and afterlife, and Jason cuddling him against his chest, trying to comfort him while planting kisses on the top of his head he's lovedrunk because he, a vengeful spirit, has been avenged by his coremate.
Also because I need a Danny with that ambivalence of feeling guilty and justified for having killed for the first time.
