June 6: Omnisexual 💗🖤💙

I only have one friend that identifies as omnisexual, and I don't see her very often anymore so I don't know a whole lot about it. Please correct any and all misinformation.

From my understanding of omnisexual it's basically the same thing as pansexual, but you can have a preference for gender. Its different from bisexual because instead of the definition saying "two or more genders" it refers to "all genders".

Google's definition: "People who identify as omnisexual are attracted to those of all gender identities and sexual orientations. Omnisexuality is in the category of multisexuality, which includes people who are attracted to more than one gender."

The omnisexual flag has 5 colors.

Light pink: attraction to feminine people

Pink: strong attraction to feminine people

Black: attraction to other genders

Blue: strong attraction to masculine people

Light blue: attraction to masculine people

(This is what I found on one website, and it sounded similar to what my omni friend told me. Please correct me if I'm wrong.)

June 5: Pansexuals! 💗💛💙

Okay, so I know a but more about this one that the last ones. I used to identify as pansexual, and I have a few friends that do. Pansexuality is similar to bisexuality (notice I said SIMILAR not same).

Bisexuality- being attracted to two or more genders

Pansexuality- being attracted to all genders

Notice they have different definitions. While very similar they're not the same. Generally from my experience with the people I know that identify as pansexual it's a matter of what label feels most right for you. Pansexuality is as a bit more personality based. Some people I know have even gone as far to say its physically and personality based only. It doesn't matter what gender the person a pansexual is attracted to.

Bisexuals can or cannot have a preference for gender. For example: a bi man can have a preference for men. That doesn't mean he's fully homosexual. He's still attracted to other genders. He just usually prefers to date men, or more often finds himself attracted to men. Some bisexuals don't have a preference.

Pansexuals don't have a preference based on gender identity however. They are "gender blind". They can however have a preference for certain genitala.

The pansexual flag consists of three colors.

Pink- for attraction towards those that identify with the female binary, or female aligned identities

Yellow- for attraction towards those that identify outside of the male or female binary

Blue- for attraction towards those that identify with the male binary, or male aligned identities

June 4: Polysexuals! Idk much about polysexuals because you guys aren't talked about a lot on social media (or at least not on the sides I'm on), so I'm gonna have to give the google definition. I apologize if it's wrong. "The prefix “poly” means many, and polysexual individuals are attracted to people of multiple genders. People who identify as polysexual often use that word because it suggests a greater variety of sexual orientations than traditional gender binaries of male and female, or hetero- and homosexuals" (WebMD). I will look into this sexual orientation more and see what I can learn! Remember no matter how you identify you're totally valid and I love you! Be who you are and never be ashamed of it!

(Also little side note I'm going to start adding some information on each sexuality/ gender identity based on what either myself or those around me know about it.
