"The Realest Real" KENZO FALL-WINTER 2016 FILM AND CAMPAIGN With social media ever more present in our lives, blurring the barriers between ordinary and famous, for KENZO's Fall-Winter 2016 film Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have invited writer/ Director Carrie Brownstein to take a look at the invisible digital walls that separate us from our favorite personalities and icons, and the curious conceit of a dream come true. Carrie Brownstein's short film for KENZO, The Realest Real, is a humorous exploration of the fickle and instant world of the internet. 

A young woman wishes for her idol to become her mother, her wish comes true and she shortly regrets her wish. Laura Harrier, Natasha Lyonne, Mahershala Ali, Karan Kendrick, Kim Gordon.

t is exactly on the cusp between what is and what isn’t that the story of Gucci Valigeria begins. In the campaign envisioned by Alessandro Michele and captured by Glen Luchford, Ryan Gosling traverses time and space, setting off from a motel to the beach, and coming across the unknown. Brought along are vintage luggage pieces alongside ones from the current Gucci Savoy collection with emblematic elements like the GG monogram and Web stripe. Echoing the origins of the House, it is a trunk that leads the protagonist to the wonderfully unexpected, just as the travel bags of the jet set passing through The Savoy hotel in London where the House’s founder, Guccio Gucci, worked in his youth as a porter, became the very first spark of the idea behind his artisanal atelier. #GucciValigeria

Jamie T’s "Sheila" was released on 29 July 2006. Two videos were made for the song; the first video in 2006 consisted of monkeys living in a house and short clips of Jamie singing, while the second video in 2007 features the late actor Bob Hoskins walking along the River Thames lip synching to the lyrics. Lovely piece of simple, sad story-telling.

"Memo From Turner," from Performance by Donald Cammell and Nicolas Roeg. Starring James Fox and Mick Jagger in his film acting debut. "Memo From Turner" was released as a solo single by Mick Jagger in England in 1970. This track was recorded in Los Angeles in early 1970, and uses the vocal track of The Rolling Stones' first, slow version from November 1968. The tape of Jagger's vocals was sent to Jack Nitzsche, where all music parts where recorded by Ry Cooder on slide guitar, Russ Titelman (guitar), Randy Newman (piano), Jerry Scheff (bass) and Gene Parsons (drums).
