oh yeah that makes sense to me! and its really funny to think about. BOTH instances inspired by a single chat message stunlocking me into frustratingly trying to communicate something i notice or am certain of only to receive a wave of confusion and dissent in return. the undyne situation is so funny because i know for an absolute fact it is the kind of “connection” i NEVER would have made on my own accord if not for that one chat message saying “LOOK CLOSELY AT THE DESIGN” literally at the worst possible moment and setting me up to confidently overanalyze literally anything on screen just so i could understand what they meant and seem pretty smart for noticing it while playing. immediately punished.
