Woe betide any who would strike down a pregnant woman, for by this act of evil, they will surely create a pontianak! These ghostly, vampiric monsters prey upon the living, especially men who walk around alone at night. Heralded by the sound of crying and the scent of plumerias, a pontianak usually assumes the appearance of a beautiful woman, or else a wild animal. Be sure not to stare at her too long, however, or she might be tempted to use her dagger-like nails to tear your eyes out!

Nyfellar Mammoth Gargantuan elemental, unaligned Armor Class 17 (natural armor) Hit Points 264 (16d20+96) Speed 40 ft. Str 30 Dex 10 Con 22 Int 2 Wis 18 Cha 9 Languages – Challenge 12 (8400) Ice Walk. The Nyfellar mammoth can move across icy surfaces without needing to make an ability check. Additionally, difficult terrain composed of ice and snow doesn’t cost extra movement. Trampling Charge. If the Nyfellar mammoth moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a gore attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 22 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the mammoth can make one stomp attack against it as a bonus action. ACTIONS Gore. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 37 (6d8+10) piercing damage. Stomp. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 5 feet, one prone target. Hit: 43 (6d10+10) bludgeoning damage plus 11 (2d10) cold damage. Trample. The Nyfellar mammoth moves up to its speed and can move through the spaces of Huge or smaller creatures. The first time it enters a creature’s space during this movement that creature must make a DC 22 Dexterity saving throw, taking 43 (6d10+10) bludgeoning damage plus 11 (2d10) cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Tusk Toss (Recharge 4-6). Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 15 feet, one target. Hit: 46 (8d8+10) piercing damage and the target must make a DC 22 Strength saving throw. On a failure the target is thrown 30 feet into the air and 25 feet directly away from the mammoth, landing prone and taking falling damage, if applicable.
Mammoths are furry, elephantlike creatures that roam the freezing steppes. The furious Nyfellar mammoth, a creature made partially of ice, hits foes like an avalanche. They have their origins in Nyfell, the frozen lands from which frost giants hail. Becasue Nyfellar mammoths can subsist on a variety of food and ice, they can live in inhospitable frozen regions.
The Nyfellar mammoth struck me as a very fun monster to translate over from 4th edition. The original was only huge sized, but it needed a boost to gargantuan so that it could carry frost giants on its back as a rider. In 4th edition giants were only large size, so they could use a huge sized creature as a mount. It’s quite obviously based off of the mammoth from the Monster Manual, upgraded in side, strength and with added elemental effects. I feel like the wording on tusk toss could go through some more iteration, but I just really wanted to build a giant mammoth that throws some poor sap into the air to crash painfully to the ground again. Plus it makes the fight more dynamic.

I don’t know why people bother to try making dwarven armor and weapons after The Hobbit trilogy, like say what you will about the movies but they literally perfected dwarven aesthetics
