Svanng, an orphaned Khajiit who was adopted by a Nord family in the Pale as one of their own after they found a kind of confused snowy sabrecat carrying her around. She keeps predators and bandits away from the livestock. The youngest members of the family like to cling onto and be dragged along by her tail

This post got me thinking about how the physical changes of vampirism should work in ESO, so I sketched out some pre and post-vampirism sketches of the Ravenwatch (+Rada) (which also kinda doubled as general face practice for these characters and in general).
Some thoughts under the cut.
Due to a lack of blood/active blood flow, people lose their color (go "pale") after becoming a vampire. This doesn't effect melanin, obviously, so it tends to be more obvious in folks with paler skin. When they're hungry/haven't fed in a awhile, the effect is more pronounced, and after they've eaten it is less so.
^ The same applies to furred Khajiit, it's just not as noticeable because it is covered by their fur. The change can be seen on their noses, ears, paw pads, and around the eyes though. The fur color and pattern doesn't change, but may dull in color a bit and thins around the extremities. Argonian's scales also get duller.
Their hair also gets duller and a little darker. This one can be non-diegetic though because I mostly just did it because I thought it would look better aesthetically.
They all have red eyes, although their original eye color can peak through if they are well fed. They also develop a tapetum lucidum that makes their eyes reflective to light in the dark (like a cat or dog).
They get darkness and redness around the eyes and extremities. Their veins also look more pronounced in theses areas as well, and are more extreme depending on how hungry they are. Older and more experienced vampires eventually learn how to eliminate these visual traits through magic or managing their hunger better.
Vampires can get close to their original appearance by being full and well fed, but certain traits (mostly the paleness and red eyes) are basically permanent. Older and more experienced vampires usually eventually become masters in illusion magic to maintain their non-vampiric appearance in public.
Pure-blooded vampires have a lot more control over the appearance inherently.

Salted caramel puffed saltrice treats
Satrice is the backbone of Dunmeri agriculture, and it stands to reason that it's made its way into just about every dish in Morrowind, both sweet and savoury. This sweet snack is beloved by Dark Elves young and old, and its chewy yet crunchy texture is addictive! Sweet yet salty, this is a timeless classic.
You will need:
200g puffed rice (chewy) or Rice Krispies (crunchy)
100g mini marshmallows (or chopped bigger marshmallows)
50g butter
2 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt flakes or lightly crushed Maldon salt (adjust to taste)
150g brown sugar (I prefer dark muscovado for this but demerara works well too)
150ml heavy cream
1 vanilla bean pod, scraped (or 1 tsp vanilla bean paste)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cardamom
Method:
In a pan, melt the butter and add the cream, vanilla, and sugar. Stir on medium heat until it begins to caramelise medium brown, about 8 minutes.
Remove from the heat, and stir in salt, cinnamon, and cardamom.
Follow with the marshmallows; fold into the caramel gently until entirely combined, about 8-10 minutes.
Fold the finished mixture into the puffed rice until evenly combined. Spoon into a baking tray or loaf pan lined with paper. Garnish with additional salt flakes, if desired. Leave to refrigerate for an hour. Cut into small square slices, and enjoy!

This is my favorite canon Drow art there is, it's from 'Menzoberranzan, city of intrigue' and it depicts a mother showing her two daughters Narbondel as the city's archmage lights it up for the day
Most Drow art shows nobles or soldiers being in some sort of conflict or about to ambush someone so it's nice to see simpler moments like this one
