FEU SCORES CRUCIAL WIN TO FAN FINAL 4 HOPES IN WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL
MANILA, Philippines – The Far Eastern University (FEU) Lady Tamaraws scored a genuinely necessary triumph against University of the East (UE), 25-14, 25-18, 27-25, to keep their Final 4 trusts alive in the UAAP Season 79 ladies’ volleyball competition Wednesday at the FilOil Flying V Center.
The Lady Tamaraws snapped a two-coordinate losing streak and enhanced their record to 6-6, putting them only one diversion behind joint third placers University of the Philippines (UP) and National University (NU), both at 7-5.
The Lady Tamaraws won easily in the main edge, yet experienced some inconvenience in the second set when UE trimmed a seven-point lead, 19-12, to only two focuses, 20-18. FEU did not help itself by submitting assaulting blunders, and they surrendered consecutive aces to Judith Abil to make it a two-point amusement.
Out of a timeout, be that as it may, FEU demonstrated a feeling of earnestness. Kyle Negrito had two straight experts of her own to grapple a 5-0 run, and a running hit by captain Remy Palma topped the win for the Lady Tams.
