I fell in love in an Overblood 2 mini game, so I had to write a YamaKuro fanfic inspired by it ! Sure, the ship isn't popular, but I think they have potential. ✨️

Case and point : have them dance in the Fifth Sector premices, during some official gathering. Oh hey, fun fact, that's exactly what my fic delves into, as you can see by my illustration here, teehee~

About 3 months ago, I decided to lighten my mood and rewatch the 1st season of IE Go after a whole decade. I didn't realise how much I missed it. 💕 Ah KyouTen, my beloved. One boy is a ray of hope, while the other one is a powerful soul. The bond of these two is so precious. Hence this nostalgia infused drawing. 💙🤎

Sadly didn't get to finish my anime rewatch, bcz the stress of my job hunt had won. QwQ) Oh well~

Toga + Dabi = Peace?

So curiosity got the better of me and I decided to dive in for a lurk in that one redraw thread. Huh, an anon forum being harsh? What else did you expect? XD

I lowkey like the drawing that stirred one of the discussions there, it has a kitch quality with the textures and everything (the kinda thing I like to do myself, haha) and the highly saturated colors. Even the sketchiness has some charm, I wonder if the artist is still doing their thing out there.

I redrew the og, and I included the color palettes of the proposed redraws. That, even though these alterations exist due to the og being deemed "ugly" (owch). Well, such is life.

Kazegakure : Inazuma 9th Grade Ninja

So back when I was 15, I imagined this AU based on RC9GN, in which the IE characters attend this lambda school, but- UH OH! There's a ninja among them : Kirigakure Saiji. He saves the students from monsters regularly, and his ninja identity is a secret. Noone could establish the link between the masked hero and the excentric boy.

That, until he revealed it to Kazemaru, a friend for which Kirigakure had a crush. I also had Michiko be his sister, while Reika and Miyasaka would hang out with this group on occasion. Kirigakure would give them all silly nicknames, bcz of course.

Surprisingly, Hiroto and Midorikawa were antagonists in the AU, as in "Le evil science students", but I assume I was influenced by their Aliea arc. They were trying to corrupt Kazemaru via the use of an alien slug, so they could force him to confess the true identity of the ninja. That, or gaslighting Kirigakure by turning his beloved into a temporary villain.

Also, as it turns out, the HiroMido duo is responsible for the monsters at school since they kept fiddling with the chemistry lab, lol.

Diluc tries to forget, Kaeya still regrets ...

KAEYA : Master Diluc, don't worry *hic* even with all those scars all over your body you are still sexy.

Diluc coughs, rolling his eyes, and takes another sip of champagne.

KAEYA : They're signs of survival. This eye though, no *hic* no matter how much I'll cover it, it will be ugly. And I will be ugly.

DILUC : Kaeya, how MUCH wine did you have already? That's enough now-!

Diluc tries to take away the bottle from Kaeya, but falls over him instead. The bottle rolls away.

KAEYA : R- *hic* right, go. Unleash your anger on me. I am a traitor. I should have had my other eye removed too ... so you don't have to be on your guard about *hic* letting a glimpse of dissapointment seep to your eyes. But you know, p- part of me is glad you hate me, I cannot imagine a world where you pretended I didn't exist.

Kaeya cries, taking Diluc aback.

KAEYA : Master Diluc, I'm sorry you have to look at my face ... I'm sorry ...

Diluc sighs.

DILUC : (Didn't we discuss this before? Oh Kaeya, insecurity doesn't fit you in the slightest.) Don't worry, you have been forgiven, forever ago ...

He hugs the crying blue-haired young man, as they both still lay on the ground.

Next morning...

KAEYA : Greetings, master Diluc!

DILUC : Ah, Kaeya.

Diluc ponders for a moment as he drinks his morning herbal tea, while Kaeya prances down the stairs.

DILUC : ... Can I see beneath your eyepatch?

KAEYA : What ... what, why??

DILUC : No particular reason, I just want to look at it in daylight. You showed it to me yesterday without hesitation.

Kaeya : (The only time I can't handle wine, I do something like this???)

Diluc stares, making Kaeya bashfully comply.

KAEYA : Sorry, it's kind of horrifying, isn't it?

Diluc's thumb strokes the cheek under the eyeball-less socket. He smiles, bringing Kaeya some confort.

DILUC : No, it isn't.

The red-haired young man didn't look away, nor was uncomfortable, when the gaping hole on Kaeya's face was uncovered.

DILUC : (Damn, I am never bringing him this imported brand again, or else he might lose more than his composure.)

Ok, so I'm not sure how OOC is this (and I'm sure it's alot, lol), but I had some lore elements mixed up before writing this. I was mainly speculating how the damage on Kaeya's right eye looks, as most fanart depict it with a scar (as it's described in the Wiki) and/or in a different color (golden).

I was thinking that having it eyeball-less would make it his achillean heel, for he is witty and charming by design. It can be a nice contrast, if you don't find the idea too gruesome of course. XD

I remember being instantly infatuated with this duo when Ina11 Go came out, the perfect ship material. I still think they're wholesome af, no matter how amped up Tenma's naivety and Tsurugi's edginess are (in comparison to Endou & Gouenji respectively, lol). True duality. XDDD

Anyhow, even if 2014-2015-ish, there's never enough of that KyouTen goodness. Unfortunatly, and surprisingly, no actual kiss here! Oh well. Another time, maybe...? <3
