Dr. Norms Chocolate Chip Therapy
I almost ate the bag the cookies taste so good
By: Rudiger Jones

Taste
These cookies taste fucking amazing. I mean I was expecting this to be a famous amos rip off, but no this was more. Dr. Norms cookies are better! The texture is closer to hard then soft. The taste isn’t just a chocolate chip cookie. It has hints of a toffee taste. I found myself just snacking on the cookies and I had to stop myself so as not to over medicate.
Potency
It took me about an hour before I started to feel medicated. I managed to suck down 5 cookies before I thought to myself, “wait, these are medicated.” It’s infused with clear extract and are approximately 5 mg per cookie with 20 cookies inside the bag for a total of 100 mg. I got stoned played some video games and then passed out on my controller with my NBA2K player forced to hard rub a wall while I slept.
Packaging
The packaging is really nice and informative. It's good to see this type of packaging becoming the norm.

Value

For $15 USD donation these are worth it. They taste great and only take a couple to get you medicated.

Review: Slump Juice
Well, that happened.
Introduction

Slump Juice powered by slump wax is potent pain relief according to the label.
Taste
I got grape flavor and it tasted fine. You could taste a little bit of the cannabis, but to be honest it’s not nearly as strong as the sweet grape flavor. It’s good but not anything to call home about.

Potency
Potent pain relief is right! I mean I drank this thing (the whole 1oz bottle) I was going hard for about 6 hours before I crashed hard. I woke up the next morning thinking, “uh, I guess I passed out.” I was still very groggy and ended up sleeping for another 4 hours. This stuff is heavy, like really heavy. 500 mg of THC in wax form per 1oz of syrup is really a recipe that’s separating Slump Juice from its competitors. The next lowest dosage (that we’ve tried) per 1oz is Slactavis with 350 mg of THC.
Packaging

Basic design on the label it says enough but could use a redesign. I really just liked that it came sealed and I knew at least what I had wasn’t fondled..
Value
I got this for $15 USD donation and I don’t regret it one bit. This I the syrup I’ll drink on those days when the pain is just too much to bare. It’s priced right and effective, I’m happy.

Review: Slactavis
They claim to be the best and have a huge following of patients willing to shout it from the roof tops . I think I just became a member.
Introduction

Slactavis is the creation of a guy named Dr. Brokeleg by most of the cannabis community. Many have tried to capitalize off the Houston syrup movement replacing codeine with cannabis, but Slactavis seems to be the one company able to become a house hold name. Let’s see why.
Taste
It’s syrup and it comes an a large amount of flavors. You have your basics, sours and even limited edition bottle releases. They all seem to have a great consistency that keeps the syrup from completely overwhelming whatever you add it to. I became accustomed to drinking them straight.
Potency
There are lots of warnings on this bottle. Slactavis contains approximately 350mg of THC mad from Rick Simpson Oil(RSO). They really want you to know that you are going on a real endeavor and may need an entire day after consumption to just enjoy the hi and relax. Luckily I found that wasn’t the case. I would spend most of my time working or up doing something and ended my night with some amazing sleep.
Packaging
The packaging is cute but just needs a ingredient list and their perfect.

I did wish they would fill in the strain information on the label, I mean why have it otherwise.

Overall the label is well thought out for fun and functionality.
Value
Slacatavis comes in 1oz bottle for $20 USD donation. You can get larger bottles for more I’m sure, but we focused on what we could get our hands on. You can find them 2-$30 USD donation making it $15 each. We were all happy with our purchase and I have since purchased several more bottles.

Review: Miss Mary Jane’s Edibles Mini Churro Whoopie Pies
Introduction
Miss Mary Jane’s Edibles makes many types of edibles. The churro pie and the mini churro pies are award winning treats worth having.

Taste
The mini pies taste great. One is perfect, two or more would require a serious sweet tooth which is fine if that’s you’re thing. The pies are soft and creamy they don’t have an overwhelming cannabis flavor. They’re really enjoyable to eat, and potent enough for one to get you buzzed.
.
Potency
There are six mini whoopie pies inside the bag. 300mg of THC divided by six pies is 50mg per pie. Like I said, me and my peeps ate one each and it was perfect. It got us all buzzed and we were good to go. It was a great way to get our day going for a two hour ride to learn about sous vide style cooking. By the time we got to our destination we all had the munchies and were ready to start cooking.
Packaging
The packaging is everything I could ask for as a customer. I have serious health concerns and as much as I hate it, I have to pay a lot more attention to what I’m putting into my body.

Knowing that one pie has 67mg of sodium which is perfect for my 2000mg allotment allows me to have more confidence in my donation. I’ve become more sophisticated since I started back in 2002 with my first recommendation, and it’s good to see the industry growing up too.
Value
The pies will run you approximately $20 USD donation. We all agreed it’s worth the price easy. The pies taste great and make you feel good too.

Review: Invisidab Cannabis Inhaler

The Invisidab Cannabis inhaler has finally made its way from up North into Southern California. Me my friend each purchased one.
For $70 USD donation, you get approximately 50 puffs. The inhaler is strain specific and comes in a general white look. The medicine inside is really effective and more importantly my doctor approved of me using it. I got a hybrid, Snowman, that has 79.03% THC & 0.2% CBD.
I ultimately found that because of the general acceptance of vaping I don’t use it much. I found it most useful for when I’m stuck in a building for a long period of time. For instance a conference or class.

Review: HashHaus Mellow Bars

The first thing I noticed when the buddtender recommended this rice krispie treat was the price. $10 USD for 100mg of THC. For the same edible by a different company it was $4 more and contained less THC. What was the big sale?
She proudly proclaimed it was effective and tasted the best. She was right it was the best tasting treat I had had in a long time. The treat didn’t taste like marijuana. Some how they where able to make it so you don’t taste the marijuana at all.
The packaging is fine but could use better design. It needs a “made on” date and testing seal on the sticker. It does include ingredients, so it’s about average in terms of page design. I would recommend getting this if you’re not feeling the edibles that taste like cannabis. I just wish it was about $3 cheaper.
The mellow bars come in different flavors. They're all hip and new age, I found vanilla bean being the closest to a normal flavor.

Review: Blacktop Organic Cannabis Elixirs

The elixirs taste great and are made with all natural fruits. The fruit punch and blueberry flavors went great inside a cup of Kool-aid or on its own. My buddy tried the blueberry chai and he said it was alright, but I don’t see him getting that flavor again. These aren’t syrups so they don’t last as long unless they’re refrigerated. Which brings me to my next point, packaging.
The bottle, the label, it’s all very slick, and minimal in design, but it has some notable missing information. There is no testing seal, or more importantly a bottled on date. You don’t want anyone to get sick because the product sat too long. Also it’s difficult to tell who makes the product. That means there’s no real accountability if the product isn’t good and directing other potential patients towards it is nearly impossible.
I drank an entire 75mg bottle and I was stoned. I wasn't amazed by the high but it kept the pain away and I was focused on the task at hand (cleaning my apartment).
For about $10-$20 USD donation you get a good product. but it could be a bit better in terms of packaging.

Review: Organix Sour Worms by Edipure

They’re effective and an aquired taste that I don’t agree with.
By: Rudiger Jones
Taste
The sour gummy worms taste sour. They taste sweet. They also taste like a mouth full of extract. The marijuana completely over powers all the other flavors. I am assuming the different colors means different flavors but they all just taste the same. I ate all ten and by the end I was struggling with the taste.

Potency
There are 10 gummy worms per package for a combined 100mg of THC. I ate an entire bottle and I was perfectly medicated.
Packaging
The packaging is solid. I like that they chose to place the gummy worms inside a standard pill bottle. The label includes all the information needed except for testing information.

Value
The sour gummy worms are $10 USD donation. They work, I just couldn’t get past the flavor it wasn’t for me.
TL;DR
The sour gummy worms don’t taste all that great to me. They taste like a mouth full of extract. The gummy worms are approximately $10 USD donation. The gummy worms contain 100mg of THC, approximately 10mg of THC per worm. I’m not sure why Edipure has chosen to rebrand these gummy products versus their standard gummy products in the plastic bags.

Review: CBD Living Water

CBD Living Water is water infused with CBD molecules. The bottle has a lot of science on it, but I’m not sold mostly because this water didn’t make me feel better immediately. I drank it ice cold out of the refrigerator and I just felt like I was drinking water from my filter tank. My stomach felt better a bit after, but again I didn’t crave more like the bottle said I would.
When I asked about the water during my purchase and the buddtender didn’t have much to say about it other than it’s good. I mean yeah it should be it’s water. It’s $10 USD donation a bottle though so you expect something great.
There’s plenty of information on the bottle and they do go as far to say the percentage of CBD inside the water but, it doesn’t really list it in a standard testing format. It also says the water is tested by an outside source but doesn’t say what testing company which just seems off to me. Why not proudly display your testing seal?
This water was good, but if you read my Canna Nano review, that was better. I can recommend this water since it did do what it said it would in making my stomach feel better. If you asked me on the street though, I would likely recommend Canna Nano CBD Water.

Canna Nano CBD Water featuring King Concepts

Canna Nano CBD Water is damn good refreshing water. I got it on a whim to try after all the buddtenders said it made their stomachs feel better after drinking them. I’m glad I decided to get, but what made this water so refreshing?
I can only guess that it has something to do with being made form alkaline water. The addition of CBD is a given, but starting with alkaline water is a whole other thing. Since being diagnosed with liver disease my friend has been trying to get me to buy alkaline water for the health benefits he’s experienced using it. He also admits to having a free source to get the water from so yeah, it can be expensive.
Click here if you want to learn more about alkaline water.
Ultimately I think that’s what gave this water the edge of other brands. It tastes really refreshing by comparison. They all seem to use the same nano technology to include the CBD molecules inside the water so the real difference here is the base water.
The water tastes very refreshing and it made my stomach feel a lot better really quickly. In less than 30 minutes I felt so much better. I’m not going to lie I was hesitant to think this product would work, since the package basically describes it as alkaline water. I don’t really know what King Concepts is bringing to the table. I’m assuming it’s the CBD used in the product, but it doesn’t say how much CBD is used or testing results. So I wasn’t really sold, but all the buddtenders said they drank it regularly and I’ve unfortunately wasted more than the $10 USD donation this water cost so I figured why not.
I really enjoyed this water a lot. I’m going to definitely be getting another few bottles of it.

Review: Above Top Shelf Saturn Cannabis Syrup
Wow, I’m so glad I added this to my slurpee! The Above Top Shelf Saturn Cannabis Syrup was a pleasant surprise. It’s priced right and proved to be very effective.
I went to the Apothecary to pick up some edibles and they had this Saturn cannabis syrup that looked interesting. The syrups have been hit or miss for me as many times I’ve found them to be a waste of money. Not this stuff. The Saturn brand knocked me and a patient friend of mine on our asses.
The bottle contains 250mg of THC I’m inferring from the label since it doesn’t clearly say that. It’s made from 100% RSO and we tried the Cherry flavor, because I figured it would go great with my slurpee and I was not disappointed. I did however struggle to finish it.
The syrup is really sweet, so you might want to temper it or stick to the recommended tablespoon amount. Towards the end of my slurpee it was like drinking pure sugar so I just powered through it.
I poured about 20ml into both our slurpees and after about 30 minutes I had the munchies and so did my friend. I went home and ate then began resting on the couch after. I started to fall asleep when I suddenly decided I would rather get up and make some photo and start my next writings. During this period of time if you were a fly on the wall you’d catch me dancing, singing off key to a song I made up and gyrating my body like it’s NYE 1999. Yeah I was stoned and super happy. I actually was surprised to find I had completed all my tasks with such pleasure. I asked my friend how he was the following day and he said he had a similar experience. We both agreed that it’s likely made from a hybrid strain or sativa heavy strain, but that’s just us guessing.
The packaging allows you to make an informed decision it has everything on it except for the testing results. It does say it’s tested by SCLabs, but I’m starting to get a little bit spoiled by the companies putting the results right on the label. The front of the bottle says it contains 250mg but it doesn’t say of what? I mean it could be a mix of THC and CBD.
The Above Top Shelf Saturn cannabis syrup is $20 (USD) a great deal for the potency. I personally ended up making a pitcher of Koolaid with the remaining 60ml and it has been a great way to medicate throughout the week.
I’d recommend getting this syrup and in fact, I’m likely to get another bottle and try the grape flavor next time.

Review: Papa & Barkley Releaf Balm
I don’t know about you, but I get this phenomenal feeling inside when I make a purchase and my expectations are met and occasionally exceeded. Papa & Barkley Releaf Balm met my expectations and I feel great about my choice every time I use it.
The Releaf Balm is pleasantly packaged with a lazer etched wood top on a frosted glass bottle. The packaging design is clean and fits their product line well. All this is presented in a sealed box with all the ingredients and medicinal information on the package.
The Releaf balm smells great. They added menthol which soothes right away and helps keep you from smelling like marijuana. I like that, since I don’t need random strangers all up in my business. The Releaf balm is 3:1/THC:CBD. I placed a small amount on my side where the pain is most uncomfortable and within the hour I was pain free and able to think about something other than how much I want the pain to stop. I got this bottle at The Honey Spot for $60 which is a little steep, but I wasn’t too upset by the price knowing that the balm worked. I’d recommend using the balm to other patients. It’s very effective and if you look at their website it also seems to be Papa & Barkley’s most popular product.

Papa & Barkley CBD Releaf Patch

Review: Papa & Barkley CBD Releaf Patch
I am a medical marijuana patient. I am not a recreational user. I am currently living with liver disease. The chemicals being released by my scarred liver causes a constant pain, like a cramp you just can’t get rid of. I’ve been using topical creams and balms since being diagnosed and seeking a transplant. I am telling you the reader all of this because I don’t think this patch is made for a patient with my level of pain.
I was given the Papa and Barkley CBD Releaf Patch during my purchase at the Honey Spot dispensary. I explained what I was going through and that I was looking for a cream or balm to help manage the pain. The buddtender that assisted me said it was their most sold topical product. I believe it is, and I bet if all I had was a sore neck from sleeping or a tired back from sex, it may have done the trick, but for serious pain relief the Releaf Patch wasn’t effective.
I could feel the pain from my liver coming on strong while playing video games with my friends, so I figured it would be a great time to try out the Releaf Patch. I opened the package to find a two inch by four inch size patch and stuck it onto my right side where the pain was most intolerable. My friends decided it was best we went for a walk to help take my mind off the pain while the patch kicked in. An hour later they could see I was still in tremendous pain and asked if I wanted to go home and take the prescribed pain killers. I didn’t, and I could feel the medicine inside the Releaf Patch working, it just wasn’t enough. I continued to wear the patch for another three hours for a total of a little over four hours before I had had enough. I busted out my PAX3 and medicated for quick relief.
The CBD Releaf Patch is $10 (USD) donation and I can’t recommend it for serious pain relief. I was actually happy I didn’t pay for it and they were nice enough to give it to me as a sample.
The Releaf Patch comes in some really nice packaging. They were clever enough to also trademark the name Releaf Patch too. That means all the other companies will have to pay Papa & Barkley to use this exact spelling or use the defined spelling “relief.” Fun Fact: That’s why Supreme is unable to trademark their logo.
The level of instruction on the back is amazing. They have provided all the information a patient would need to make an informed purchase. The testing results are stickered on the back with the lab and test ID number. The information on the back is very thorough, but a well designed package doesn’t always equal an effective product.
To sum it all up, I won’t be purchasing a patch. I need serious pain relief and not just something for muscle soreness, and that’s what I think this is meant for. I’d recommend trying their Releaf Balm instead.
