Hello anon! Thank you for checking up on me and I apologize for the major delay. I'm alive and getting better :))

Things have been kind of turbulent, though with recent developments I'm on track to go back to university with a program my current job offers. In all honesty my inspiration had been in the gutter, nothing that I wrote, drew, or created in general really measured up to what I wanted it to be, both for this blog and the one or two others I have running. I still have my google doc for this blog as well as all of the asks I've received, though progress on those has been slow-going.

Hello Oleander. First off, thank you very much for letting me include Deline x Gordon in my ship heights line-up. Having a a good handful of ships made the project more fun so including yours was nice.

I'm not just here for gratitude though. I don't have a tradition ask in mind but I was wondering if you'd be willing to introduce Deline and your ship in more detail. If you're not ready to reveal it in full yet, just ignore this.

Wow I’m super late to this! But for what it’s worth I’d love to talk about them, even after I stopped writing for a little bit I would still do tiny blurbs about them here and there just for fun. Deline was my first oc for Black Clover and is still one of my favorites overall, she’s just so fun! 

I’ve always liked coming up with medic-type characters depending on the fandom, and one that involved magic and fantasy seemed perfect for it! Even if I had to make some minor changes to her magic after meeting Mimosa the general concept still stuck. I kind of have a theme going for Del as well as her mother and sister, but I’ll save those introductions for another time. 

In the little plot I have going, Deline is the resident medic and had joined the group roughly a year before the story begins. Her circumstances were less than stellar when she first showed up, something that left her more than a little reclusive from the others for a while. It wasn’t often that she’d be seen unless it was for a task she was assigned to or if someone came back with an injury that needed to be seen to. Even with how despondent she came off she never turned anyone away - she was there to make sure the team stayed in working order, after all. This did get better after a while, but there are some points where she does end up drawing back yet again. These seem to happen totally at random and she’ll normally bounce back after a few days. If ever asked why, she normally just passes it off as being sick or something like that. 

She technically wouldn’t be lying, but the full truth is a liiiitle darker than that…

Anyways!! Before they get into a relationship, Deline and Gordon would be pretty close friends! With them both being fairly quiet and coming from similar backgrounds, there was a lot for them to relate to with one another. After a while it wasn’t often that you’d see one without the other unless it was because of a mission. Being the guild’s medic and on-call for any serious ailment in outside groups Deline tries to not play favorites, but she does tend to dote on him a little more. It isn’t always, especially if someone is gravely injured, but she will check in on him more often if something does happen.  As for when things get a little less platonic? They’re pretty close to the ‘dark and imposing/embodiment of sunshine’ pair. It would take a lot for one of them to actually confess, so I could see it happening on complete accident or after something particularly fluffy. Even after they’re both pretty shy in the beginning, it's pretty prevalent that something has changed. While they don’t act too differently around each other, there is a little more contact - fingers linked, a hand on the other’s back/waist/shoulder, just little things like that. Aside from a small kiss on the cheek they tend to keep PDA to a minimum, considering the other members would undoubtedly tease them for it. Overall it’s a lot of tooth-rotting fluff with a little hurt/comfort thrown in, probably one of my more favorite oc/character pairings I have ^^

Writing For My Faves

Note ; Getting back into the swing of things and all (both writing and now reading the series itself), I thought it might be nice to start off by writing about some of my favorite characters! These guys are gonna be from all over the place, so bear with me here-

>> GORDON AGRIPPA

Yeeeah like this one was even a question-

I don’t think I really spoke about it much before my hiatus(es), at least not on here, but he’s part of the reason why I really caught interest with the series. Yes, probably one of the quietest characters that (so far) hasn’t had much screentime has lived in my head rent free since I started. My brain really looked past the popular, flashy characters and went ‘ah yes, this one’. Am I mad about it? Definitely not <3

Literally the sweetest mf to ever exist. Even if Gordon’s not too well-versed in relationships and is more than a little awkward overall, it’s obvious that he’s trying. His methods of showing affection might be a little unconventional, but that’s kinda the charm of it right? 

Remember the little part where it’s revealed that he makes tiny dolls of the rest of his team? Yeah, you’re going to be joining that collection. 

It’s pretty likely that Gordon’s going to be at least a little self-conscious if you two go out together. It’s nothing against you, there’s no doubt that he adores you, but his family doesn’t have the best reputation. It’s easy to pick up on the whispers, the eyes that follow you both. It’s unnerving for him, so please, bring him back down from that anxious spiral. 

He also really enjoys quiet nights with you! Whether it’s both of you doing something together or you two are working on separate things in the same room, spending time like that is really nice. 

>> DOROTHY UNSWORTH

For someone who was quite literally asleep for a majority of what I know of the series, I’m a little surprised that she grew on me so fast. While I don’t know her backstory (if it’s even revealed in the current story) her powers and upbeat, playful attitude weren’t what I initially expected. 

In a relationship she probably wouldn’t act too much differently. It would be pretty often that she naps leaning against your shoulder or holds your hand, sleeve, or just you in general when there’s somewhere you both need to be. Dorothy is perfectly capable of guiding herself when she’s sleepwalking (or whatever it would be classified as), but she finds it nice to have someone there.

Other dates and hangouts consists of both of you spending time in that dream realm she has. What better place to spend time than somewhere that can literally become anywhere? 

Still, though, it’s also good to actually go do something instead of slipping into dreamland. In that case Dorothy would prefer something a little more mellow - something like a walk around the forest trails or simply window-shopping. Also nap dates, nut, y’know, staying active is also important-

>> SOL MARRON

I recently got to the point in the manga where Sol first shows up and I’m legitimately so excited to see her pop up again in the coming arcs. Her magic is super interesting and her backstory/reasoning for joining the knights is really compelling imo. 

She’s your own personal cheerleader - loud and energetic, Sol’s all too happy to encourage you whenever you need. 

I could see her showing off a little here and there. Sol knows she’s strong, of course, but watching your reaction to a particularly impressive spell of successfully pulling off something equally stunning gets her a little bit giddy. 

Is also super protective of you. If anyone even thinks about giving you trouble Sol’s right there to help you. Even if she does occasionally go overboard, the only thing that matters to her is that you’re okay. 

Sol is also pretty physically affectionate! It’s all too often that she had an arm around you, or a hand in yours. She’s also a fan of surprising you with cheek kisses. Overall she’s pretty spontaneous with her affection, so be ready for that-

>> RADES SPIRITO

Honestly Rades is a difficult one to pin down. Overall he’s a bit of an asshole, very cocky and more than a little selfish, but under all that is probably someone a little softer. He’s obviously pretty beat-up over being vilified for his magic, and while the concept is definitely… morally wrong at best, he definitely has power. 

Around you Rades doesn’t act too different on surface-level. However, he’s a little softer with you in private. He’s loud and confident in the presence of others, seeming to always be like that, but in the presence of one of the few people he trusts, Rades is more vulnerable. 

Just like he brags about his own abilities and power, he’s just as likely to show you off. I mean this both in he’ll literally do so but Rades also has a habit of boasting about his lover’s abilities. Even if your magic isn’t all that impressive, he’ll find a way to make it sound like it is. It doesn’t stop there, either. If you have another talent he’s also not going to shut up about how good you are at that.

Hello again everyone! I'm so sorry for how absent I've been, things kind of got rocky and I've been trying to ease myself back into writing on a larger scale and so far things have been alright. It kind of helps that I've also gotten back into this series and want to keep writing for it.

I still have all of the old asks from the first time I went off the radar, so I'll try and release those soon! Also, I might do a little bit of reorganizing, like a navigation page or something. Anyways, I can't wait to get back into the swing of things!

Well hi ! Can you make headcanons or a scenario where the crimson lion meet for the first time Fuegoleon's s/o ? 😊

First request done!! Also, since you didn’t specify what the s/o was like, I decided to cover a few different personality types! This isn’t normally how I write out requests but this seemed like the best way to format things! Feel free to reach out again if this isn’t what you wanted though, I’d love to make a part two for something like this 😊

Things had become a little… tense in the Crimson Lion Kings’ headquarters. Not for any pressing matter, in fact this was a happier occasion, though the members of this high-standing guild had allowed their imaginations to get the better of them. A short while ago, Captain Fuegoleon had announced that he’d be bringing his lover to the base and introducing them to the rest of the members. They were all ecstatic to meet their captain’s partner, there was no denying that, but there was some tension in the air. 

If his s/o is energetic

Seeing such a cheerful face did serve to put the rest of the knights at ease. It made the knights forget what they had been so worked up about in the first place! Honestly it may come as a surprise that Captain Fuegoleon, someone who has more of a no-nonsense attitude, having a partner so bubbly and fun wasn’t something a lot of the Crimson Lions saw coming. This isn’t to say that dear Fuego is boring or anything of the sort, though the stark opposites would make them an unlikely pair at first glance. 

If his s/o is timid

Expect the group to be fairly surprised. Their captain is far from a meek man and some had been expecting the same from his partner. However, when this rather shy individual followed behind Fuegoleon the rest had done a double-take - this was them?! They’re hardly judgemental, though the more curious knights may inquire as to how this relationship came to be. Be prepared for numerous questions, most of which would probably be handled by the man himself.

If his s/o is serious

Now this would be the personality the guild anticipated most - someone to make up the other half of the power couple. Now, this option isn’t to be framed as the ‘ideal s/o’ for him, though there’s something fitting about having two sharp, no-nonsense people together. Someone who’s down to earth and hard-working, able to match his energy and then some. Healthy competition is something that would be welcomed within the group

Mereoleona’s Thoughts

She may be a little irritable, being called for something like this, but that was more so because she was pulled away and closer to the cities of the Clover Kingdom. Though, if it’s for her brother’s sake she’ll attend this little meeting (with a bit of complaint, but Mereo relents easier than she normally would). It doesn’t matter what sort of personality the s/o ends up having, she’s just as intense and borderline-intimidating as she normally is. She wouldn’t be shy about voicing her opinions on her brother’s partner either, so be warned.

Leopold’s Thoughts

Chances are Leo’s already met his brother’s s/o before this point, sitting among the rest of the squad with an impossibly large grin. I also get the feeling that he’d try to scare the other members by exaggerating certain aspects of the s/o’s personality or playing things up in general. However, it’s quickly realized by the rest of the group that the youngest Vermillion had simply been messing with them. Leopold would probably treat the s/o like an older sibling from the get-go - if Fuegoleon trusts them so much, then why shouldn’t he?

Fuegoleon’s Reaction

Regardless of what type of person his partner is, he’d be both a little nervous and rather excited as well. I’d like to think that he views this as a milestone of sorts in the relationship. He’s already somewhat cautious when entering a relationship considering his status as both a magic knight captain and someone hailing from a royal family. He isn’t so much concerned with his own reputation as he would be the other person’s safety - being in a relationship with someone with a standing such as his was dangerous, it could make his partner a target. If he got to the point where he decided to introduce them to the Crimson Lions, though, then he’d most likely be comfortable with being more open with their relationship.

I apologize to those who sent in asks ages ago, though things kinda went sideways and completely sapped me of any inspiration. A lot has changed and I'm only just now re-discovering what I enjoyed about fandom-related spaces. I really missed writing, especially for this cast, and after a little thought I decided that I didn't want to just ditch everything and regret it later.
