Hello! I do apologise if this ends up breaching any main tags as I'm not tagging them - only the RP tags - but I wanted to touch base on a situation that has recently occurred regarding some members of ours in Runey Season. I had initially hoped for this situation to remain private, as it was dealt with privately and the announcements regarding it were contained to our server, but - as several public posts have been since made forcing the situation public in a way that negatively impacts those involved - I wanted to address this situation as the admin in an attempt to protect my members and what of their privacy I still can.

To prevent this from flooding any tags at large, as it is quite lengthy, this will be under a readmore:

Last week, on Wednesday, June 11th, 2025, an anonymous reserve was sent to us reserving a character (Danny from Rune Factory Frontier). Of course, we accepted, the member was approved, the account was set up, and the new member joined our members-only Discord the morning of Thursday, June 12th.

Shortly after this new member's joining, I was approached by a member who had written with them previously in Traversal Peaks (which as a group I have been given permission to name) to express concerns regarding a history of encroaching upon boundaries in various ways. These concerns were repeated by a few other members over the course of the next several days, and - after a review of all statements, testimonies, and evidence presented to me via screenshots, including a screenshotted statement from the member addressed themselves circa May 2025 that they would not join this group knowing people who did not want contact with them were part of it, I made the decision to remove the member addressed from Runey Season as I wanted to prioritise the comfort of my members and prevent any risk of repeat occurring with anyone here, as is my responsibility as the admin.

This has, to my frustration & chagrin, resulted in the publication of this situation by several people acquainted with this member in a very one-sided manner and what I would describe as a harassment campaign against Traversal Peaks to the point where it has breached main HM / RF tags. I would like to reiterate what I said at the start of this post - I wanted this situation to remain private, as I spoke with those who reached out to me in confidence & contained any announcements regarding it to the RS Discord server. This has not remained private, which forces me to comment. I do not want to have to make such a verbose, serious statement over Rune Factory RP of all things, as we are here for a fun time, but I'm not willing to let my decision bleed back to the members who trusted me with their concerns or their group without speaking up.

I will say one thing regarding this: I as the admin am a grown adult that can make my own decisions, and - after several days of what I would like to consider as careful review - made one as such. I received multiple testimonies, statements, and evidence of interactions with this member and made a decision on my own that they were not the best fit for my group based on what was shared with me and my own personal thoughts on the matter. Had I disagreed with what was said and shown to me, I very much could have done so, and to target TP entirely and frame things the way those involved are strips me of my own agency as an adult and admin in the decision that was made.

The publicising of this situation goes against every statement made from those publicising it regarding "wanting to live in peace" and "why can't we talk about this like adults" and "this isn't my story to tell" and violates the privacy of everyone involved in this. I will not be messaging anyone as was asked in one of the published posts about this. I will not answer any asks regarding this situation if sent - and do know that if anyone does ask about the situation I will be at least temporarily disabling anon, which benefits no one as it prevents potential reserves from those who wish to remain anonymous.

My decision has been made and I am sticking with it. Please leave Traversal Peaks & both its and my members who are part of it alone - you are not doing the person who was removed any favours by enacting a callout campaign and are in fact further cementing my decision - which was, again, mine to make - to remove them by acting so pettily on their behalf.

Hii, thank you for your interest in Runey Season! Howevrer, reserves for Azuma are not open at this time. We were thinking of opening them around August or so to give everyone interested in playing a good few months to make a dent in the game first... so if when that time comes you're still interested, we'd be happy to have you! But we aren't accepting GoA reserves until then, my apologies.

Hi there. I was wondering if this board is still active. I used to write on HM/SOS/RF rp sites back in the day and really want to find a space.

Hiiiii! While the definition of active varies from person to person (and we are a mite on the slower side as we do not have any activity requirements, which might be less active than some would like), I would say we are in fact very much active in the end! We have a good many members who are enthusiastic about Rune Factory & planning things out and writing with each other. Thank you for asking & for your interest.

Re: your other inquiry - reaching out is best done via here, the askbox! We do have DMs open as well as well, but the response rate is the same whether via message or via ask, so ask is imo the best / easiest option. And on that note... you can absolutely have Rosetta, as she's still available!
