ushijima might not be the brightest but he had heard of these symptoms before in health class: a look of confusion, coughing and blue lips.
yes, he was certain of it. you were choking.
wasting no time, he swiftly gets up from his chair and makes his way over to you, grabbing you by the shoulders and forcing you to stand up so he can turn you around and wrap his arms firmly under your chest, ready to squeeze until you yell.
"toshi! what are you doing?"
"the heimlich maneuver."
you squirm out of his grip and turn to face him, "why?"
"because you're choking. and i don't want you to die."
your expression drops into one of pure bafflement, "i'm not."
"but you were confused and coughing." he argues with furrowed brows.
"i was confused because you were staring at me silently and not responding to any of my questions. and i didn't even cough, i just cleared my throat."
ushijima blinks. "but your lips are blue."
"because of the slushie!" you motioned dramatically to the cup filled with bright blue liquid that was still lying on the table.
"so, you're not choking?" he tries to clarify and you just face-plant against his chest from defeat.
"i really hope you get a volleyball scholarship."

#Pairing ? Nine-Tailed Fox Sage Garam x FEM!Reader
#Sypnosis. Dallae’s personality reminded Garam of a certain someone. Unfortunately, that someone doesn't act like that around him anymore, atleast not to him.
#Notes. Well hello hello my fellow guardian tales players 🥰 anyone simp for Garam here too? No? Just me? okay.. 😢😢😢 anyway, this was actually meant to be a Garam x OC but I decided to change it into a reader insert instead. The OC version can still be read in ao3 though, was too lazy to change it there

You wonder how Dallae got into this situation? Well..
“This town will be a perfect target, I've already raided them before. They definitely have some new pair of golds 'n jewelries hiding in their home.” A man said, his dark brown eyes glancing at the said town. He was already making up a plan in his head.
He planned to just barge in and threat everyone living there. Some of colleagues knows thinks it’s a stupid idea, while some who followed every single thing the leader says without question didn't bother to say anything.
“You're tough and all—” The new rookie said but then gave out an opinion that contradicted his plan. “But aren't those so-called ‘‘Sage's’’ built somewhere near this place? I wouldn't want to mess with those two..”
The rookie who he had high expectations on, now deduced into a little minion in his head, was basically saying that he'd rather die than to be cursed by the Sage's. Not like the result of his life would be any different.
“Seriously?” The man, lets call him Mr. Tough Guy for now, scoffed at the little minion's statement. For believing in those silly folktales about Sage's and for saying discreetly that his plan is stupid.
Mr. Tough Guy was more annoyed at the latter reason.
While the ‘little minion’ gave out more of his passive aggressive and condenscending opinions about everything and anything that came out of Mr. Tough Guy's mouth, they didn't notice another person listening in on their conversation.
Dallae had been listening to them ever since their conversation started. Now that she knew that she was going after the village she lived in, she planned to warn the people in her said village, especially the chief.
Why does a twig have to ruin everything?
“Stop right there!” Mr. tough Guy and and another colleague of his shout out in unison, making Dallae trip and fall on the ground because of fright.
Her knee is hurt, it aches when she tries to stand up, so the child crawls towards the statues. She thought it was a good hiding spot, at least until the men go away.
Before the two men could get close, Dallae quickly crawls towards the statue of one of the Sages and hides behind it. Specifically the taller one. No offense to the other..
“Where's the darn kid?!” One of the two men exclaim as they reach the area of the two statues. “Come out right now!” The other man ordered, he felt like the child was playing hide and seek with them. So childish!
“Those bad bad men..” The child mutters out from behind the statue as she looks at the two men, silently bad-mouthing them inside of her head.
“I know you're hiding behind that rock, you rascal!” One of the men says as they both turn to look towards the statue of one of the Sage's.
Knowing that the two men already knew where she was and she had nowhere else to run to, the small child walked out of her hiding spot and shouted the only thing that came to her mind.
“T-The Sages will teach you bad men a lesson!”
“Hahaha! A Sage? don't make me laugh!” The man lets out a laugh, obviously not believing the words that were said by the small child.
“A Sage will protect me if I have a good heart!” The child protested against the man's words.
“Then why don't you tell the Sage to help you now?” Mr. tough Guy taunted, thinking that the child might as well be stupid for thinking that the Sage's are actually real. Like he said, those were just fables made by the old grannies — they believed in it so much to the point they made statues? Ridiculous.
The Sages were nothing but mere statues.
Unexpectedly, the ground begins to shake.
“An earthquake?” One of the man spoke, questioning himself if the sudden shake was actually real or if it was just him hallucinating.
The two men and the child turn to look at the figure of the statue the child used as a hiding spot earlier as it begins to glow a bright light, the two men staring in shock as the child does the same — before quickly shutting her eyes.
“I told you Sage's were real! Curse you—!” Dallae could hear Mr. Tough Guy's words. “What the hell are you talking about?!” That was the last sentence the child heard, accompanies by more mean words she’d rather not remember. As the world around her turned quiet, she saw it as the chance to open her eyes.
The child slowly blinks her eyes open again to see that the two previous men from earlier no longer able to be seen. Instead, standing there, a Nine-Tailed Fox man that resembles the statue from earlier was staring at her. Recovering from her shock, Dallae introduces herself to the mister infront of her.
“Thank you for saving me, mister! I'm Dallae.” She introduces herself, with a bright smile on her face as she walks closer towards the nine-tailed fox, walking around him as if she was admiring him. She didn't get to admire his statue earlier because of the bad guys.
“Mister.. Are you really a Sage?” Dallae asked as she tilted her head to the side.
“Yes. I am a Sage. I'm Garam.” The nine-tailed fox, who Dallae now knows as Garam, says in a matter-of-fact tone.
“Wow! You're a Sage!” Dallae exclaims as her eyes shine brightly in admiration and she begins to jump up in excitement.
"Mister Sage! You're so cool!" She continues as she does some fighting stances.
Because of the protective and strong aura the fox? man? was giving off, Dallae didn't show any sign of hostility whatsoever. Garam doesn't know what to feel about that, maybe he should teach her how to be more hostile to strangers.
“Why were they chasing you?” Garam asks as he looks at Dallae with a concerned expression on his face but the edges of his lips are curved slightly upward. He thought that the human child's behavior was endearing, she acted a bit like a certain little fox he knew. Unfortunately, that someone has grown and doesn't act like this anymore not to him atleast.
“Those bad men keep harassing our town!” Dallae grumbles out as she furrowed her eyebrows in anger. "So I watch them everyday! I was going to town to alert people but they caught me.."
"But it's okay! You saved me!" Dallae cheers as a cheerful expression returns to her face.
"I'm off to town! Thank you!" Dallae says as she waves goodbye and cheerfully skips towards the path to her town. Leaving the Sage alone, the said sage gazes at the statues of his eight-tailed friend, wondering when she will also wake up from her hibernation.
Garam feels one of his fox ears twitch, as if sensing that there was still trouble going on nearby.
Without any hesitation, Garam quickly follows the path Dallae went, defeating some of the bad men Dallae was talking about along the way.
Nearing the town Dallae was talking about, Garam notices an unconscious body of a woman and a man together with a crying child mourning for them.
Were they the poor child's parents? How unfortunate.. Garam prays that the family will meet again and live a happily in another life, as an exchange for their loss today.
Finally arriving at the town square, Garam sees Dallae standing beside an older man, most likely the village chief, with an almost unconscious woman on the ground below him. There are also many townspeople standing behind the senior.
Garam furrows his eyebrows as he sees three men that looked the same as the other bad men from before. Just how many of them are there?
"Take everything! Treasures, food, anything worth money!" The bad man in the middle exclaims, full of greed and want.
"P-Please.. We'll starve.." The village chief beside Dallae pleads, clasping his hands together for mercy.
"Stop bothering!" The bad man says as he punches the senior to the ground. "That's none of my business."
"Stop!" Dallae exclaims before walking towards the chief as he started to groan in pain. "Wake up, chief.." Dallae says in a worried tone.
Dallae then walks towards the woman who was laying on the ground beside the chief. "Ma'am.." Dallae calls out to her before she bursts out in tears.
"Listen, you fools! If you don't want to end up like him, give me everything you've got!" The bad man in the middle starts to speak out as he pointed at the chief kneeling on the ground in pain.
"You ugly bad man! Stop harassing our town!" Dallae shouts as she throws a rock at the bad man in the middle, she turns to see if she has any other solid to throw at them, only to be disappointed and facing the men again, trying to give off an intimidating font.
"This girl has gone crazy.." The bad man in the middle says before continuing, "I'll knock some senses into you."
Before the man could land a hit on Dallae, Garam quickly jumps out and lands in front of the child, protecting her and knocking back the three men a few distances away.
"Huh? Who're you?" The bad man questions as he recovers from being knocked back. "Everyone! Attack!" The bad man shouts out as all three of them lunge forward to attack Garam.
Before they could even land a hit on Garam, the sage shoots out a powerful attack from his Sage bead, quickly defeating two of the three men in a quick and swift motion.
The one man left undefeated hurriedly runs away, realizing how powerless he is now. "We..We'll be back!" he shouts out before he is no longer able to be seen.
The town's chief recovers from the attack he received from the bad man from earlier, standing up slowly as he gives Garam a grateful smile.
"T-Thank you! But.. who're you?" The chief asks, wanting to know the identity of the man, who weirdly has two animal ears on his head and very visible tails on his back, but none-the-less, the said men was still the man who saved the town.
"He's a sage!!" Before Garam could introduce himself formally, Dallae beat him to it and introduced him in an delighted tone.
Many voices of shock and amazement erupt from the crowd as they start to walk closely towards Garam. All of the townspeople happily cheer, a series of “Hip Hip Hooray”’s spread through the crowds, they were all happy as they had gotten help from a Sage.
The rest of the day, the townspeople had gone out of their way to introduce themselves to Garam and get to know their saviour. The moon was close to setting — Dallae decided to have Garam live with her, at least for the time being until the sage decides that he will go and explore what had happened to the world while he was stuck in hibernation.
Some days later, Garam had made up his mind and decided that he was going to explore the place; and by that he means the other surrounding villages that the townspeople were talking about.
With Dallae constantly persuading him to let her join him, the white-haired sage decided to bring the child with him. This will be the first adventure they will be going on, together.
While Garam was busy saying taking care of something else, Dallae decided to chase some butterflies around to keep herself entertained as she waited for him. Seriously? How could butterflies be so pretty yet so hard to catch? When she thought more about it, she thought these butterflies were similar to the two pretty women in the village — They were both pretty, but they did not seem to want a man with them.
Dallae chased the butterflies around, jumping up heigher above them when she was close enough to catch them, only to end up stumbling on the ground. But Dallae was a stubborn child, she kept going and chasing the beautiful butterflies, even though she had already fell two times before.
“Uggh—!” Dallae made a noise as she fell to the ground again, not giving up, she then rose to sit up. She then searched around for the butterflies, but this time they were quicker and made an escape.
“Didn't I tell you not to run around?” Hearing the familiar voice, Dallae shut down the thought of standing up. She instead waited for the Sage to walk closer to her, because she knew he was planning to heal her.
“Hehehe..” Thanks to the Sage, Dallae felt that any of the pain or bruises that she got from the falls earlier had instantly disappeared. Dallae planned to apologize, but Garam spoke first, immediately making the apology letter Dallae made in her head crumble into pieces.
“We've got a long way to go. Let's get going.” Garam told her, if Dallae was close enough to the man (If she was taller) she could swear it seemed like he was excited to go and travel to the first village they decided to go to.
When the two had finally arrived to the first designated village, they were met with many people half-unconcious and laying on the ground.
“Everyone has collapsed..” Garam said the obvious of what he saw infront of him. “Let's ask what's going on.” Garam said as he signaled Dallae to go to who seemed to like like the chief of the village, while Garam decided to ask another person instead.
Dallae walked close to the chief to ask him a question, but the chief was fast. “Stay away! There is a plague in our town..!” Is this a habit people obtain when they grow older? Cutting people off? Okay. At least he told her the information she needed from him.
“You should leave before it affects you!” The chief said, worried that the child would also be sick — Dallae, as a child, still had many years in her life.
“Mr. Sage! Mr. Sage!” Dallae called out to Garam, just in time as he also finished speaking to the person he was talking to about the situation that happened here.
“The people here have fallen sick! Can you help?” Dallae urged, worried for the people. What a heroic trait for a child that doesn't even know any person here instead of the man infront of her.
“How should I do this..?” Garam asked to himself and the child, as if asking her for any advise. Dallae gave him time to think.
“!” Eyeing the well infront of them, Garam seemed to have gotten an idea and stood infront of the well. He then pulled out his Sage bead and did, what Dallae would call, a dance of some sort..? Garam kept swinging the bead up and down four times.
After Garam was done, he turned to Dallae and said; “Drinking the well water and it'll make any sickness go away!” Garam commanded. Dallae, as if getting the memo, obeyed enthusiastically. The little child was like a sidekick.
She then used the bucket to get water from the well and went to each and every person that were laying half-unconcious, while Garam was busy most likely healing the women he was conversing to earlier.
After she was done helping people, Dallae went to go to Garam to check on how he was doing. Garam had just finished healing the woman infront of him and faced Dallae, as he noticed that she was observing him.
“They all recovered!” Dallae said and jumped up as celebration for the healed people. Garam smiled at her, affected by how brightly she smiled due to pride and happiness.
“Haha. A river won't flow for a reason!” Garam said with a big smile. Dallae, not understanding the idiom that Garam said, gave him a face that a confused child would make when they couldn't understand their math homework.
“..” Garam, who wanted to have someone laugh at his joke, decided to just explain it. “Just meant that I did what I had to do. That's all.”
“Well.. I do know you're very cool! I wanna be like you when I grow up!” Dallae said, and the awkward atmosphere from when she could get what Garam meant instantly disappeared, or maybe Garam just decided to forget it.
“Yes, yes Dallae.” Garam said as he pat the child's head. “Let's move on to the next village.” Garam, without wasting any time, immediately went to go to the next village in mind, and Dallae followed.
While Garam and Dallae's walk to the next village was nothing short of dissatisfying, the moment they finally arrived to Tiger Village made Dallae cover her ears with her hands, not liking the amount of noise caused by the many screams.
“Tiger! Tiger!” A man shouted, and another series of screams “Run!” A woman said as she ran as fast as she could, with a child holding her hand tightly to not separate from her. Garam and Dallae, worried for the strangers’ lives and warning them to run away for safety.
“I'll find out what's going on.” Dallae, hearing that, also prepared to go. But before Dallae, could even take one step forward, Garam had already made up his mind and told her; “It could be dangerous. Wait here.”
Dallae nodded, knowing that Garam didn't want her to come is only because he wanted to keep her safe. She turned around and waited, even closing her eyes and counting inside of her head, as if she was playing a game of hide and seek.
‘Six..’ “Somebody help!!” Dallae, frightened by the shout, turned around only to find no one. She had long forgotten Garam's words. When someone needed help, it's as if every little common sense in her body left — All she wants is to protect those in danger.
As she was planning to go and run to where she thinks the shout came from, she was met by the figure of a tiger walking back and forth. She didn't know what to do, but thankfully, there were some objects that could help Dallae hide from the carnivore. Dallae's small child-like structure only helped her more.
“Please.. Somebody help..” Walking pass the tiger like a pro, Dallae was able to reach where the voice came from. She saw a man, crawling out of fright and a tiger looking at the said man as if it was looking at it's prey.
Dallae shrieked as the tiger let out a loud roar, as if he knew that she had been watching.
“No! Don't hurt him!” Dallae said, throwing out her life and shielding the man by standing infront of him. The Tiger acted fast and pounced. Unfortunately for the carnivore, his action did not succeed as the ivory-haired sage showed up infront of Dallae.
“Are you alright, Dallae? Are you hurt?” Garam asked without looking at the child behind him, being cautious of every move of the animal infront of them. Garam's question was left unanswered as with a roar from the tiger, a battle started.
“Tigers are usually gentle and don't hurt people..” Garam said, and pulled out his sage bead. He wanted to communicate with the animal to ask about it's reasons for attacking the village. The tiger had turned into a boy, the only tiger-like features left of him being his hair color and animal ears and tail.
“You! Why are you hurting people?” Garam asked the tiger-now-turned-boy laying on the ground.
“I'm.. so sorry.” The tiger-boy apologized, full of guilt in his tone. “There was nothing to eat because of a big fire.”
“But hurting humans?!” Garam questioned, finding the tigers’ reason ridiculous. Before anyone could speak, two cubs came and surrounded the tiger-boy, as if protecting him from the danger that is Garam, at least, in the cubs eyes. Yet it also seemed like the two were apologizing in their own way.
“I'm sorry.. My cubs were starving to death and I..” The tiger-boy spoke again, almost with tears in his eyes. Tiger-boy didn't finish his sentence, he already told the sage what the reason was anyway.
“Mr. Sage!” Dallae, with her kind heart, called out to Garam for his attention, and she got it. Garam turned to her with a brow raised, waiting for what she was going to say.
“I feel bad for them. Can't you help?” It's true. The tigers were in a bad situation and being a natural carnivore, their only thought of another source of food would be any living thing that had meat. They were made to be predators right from the moment they were brought into this world: Made to sink their sharp teeth into their prey — be it another animal or human. Dallae doesn't know if Garam felt bad too.
“I should be punishing you. But I'll forgive you this once.” Garam decided to give them a chance, and the tiger-boy wiped the tears off his eyes. “Take this magic sack.” Garam threw it to the tiger-boy.
The tiger had natural skills so it was able to swiftly catch the sack. The tiger and cubs stared at the sack, confused about what it would be able to do to help their situation.
“Food will come out from it.” Garam explained the sack's purpose. “So don't ever make this mistake again!” Garam said, talking about the events that had happened in this village.
“Thank you! Thank you sir!”
“..So many people are suffering.” Garam said, turning to face Dallae who is behind him. “Let's go to the next village.” Said Garam, and if you were close enough to him, you'd hear the small sigh he let out. It was almost as if he already knew that there was just going to be another chaos going on in the next village.
“Mister Sage.. Didn’t the people say this village was full of prosperity and nature..?” Dallae questioned, only for Garam to sigh.
“I've gotten used to the differences between what the locals told us and what the state villages are now.. Don't worry, this is the last village.” He said, patting the little girl's hair as a way to comfort her from the many bad instances that had just happened all in one day.
Arriving at this village, Dallae got Deja Vu and flashbacks from the first village they visited. A large sum of people are laying on the ground. Without a word, Garam seemed to have already have connected the dots on what was happening here.
“It seems everything has dried up..” Garam guessed. If the dehydrated faces of the villagers laying on the ground wasn't already an obvious hint.
“Sir! Please help us!” One of the dehydrated women pleaded, crawling closer to Garam desperately. “We haven't had a drops of water since two days ago!”
“Let's look for some water for them.” Garam advised Dallae, then quickly walked away to find water, or at least some safe, healthy, drinkable liquid to satisfy their thirst.
Dallae followed along, but she wasn't quite able to catch up to Garam because she had tiny legs. The people crawled — following behind the brown-haired child as she passed by them.
They arrived infront of a well only to be left disappointed. It was dried to crisp!
“Let's look at other places..” Garam said, turning around and walking towards what seemed to be a pond — but it also had no water.
“This..” Dallae looked at the pond that was also dried to crisp.
“The small pond has dried out from months of drought. ” One of the two ladies said, followed by a man “They'll all die unless..”
Garam pulled out what seemed to be a gem that has the shape of a drop of water. He then used his sage bead to do the ‘dancing thing’ or so Dallae called it.
After that — not one, not two, but three beautiful women dressed in beautiful matching dresses appeared out of nowhere and descended to the ground gracefully.
“Sir! Sisters at arms!” Two of the girls; one left and one of the right, said as the three of them saluted the Sage infront of them. “Under Sage Garam's orders, reporting to duty as of today!” The sister in the middle said, ending the three sisters’ introduction.
“Create a lake using the water stone. Now!” Garam commanded them. ‘So that gem is called a water stone..’ Dallae thought it was a good name — could've been better though, like, maybe Lapis?
“Yes Sir!” The three sisters obeyed, turning around and flying close to the gem — by using their magic, they made a beautiful lake with many beautiful Lily pads. Dallae would like to protest that the lake wasn't as beautiful as the fairies though.
“Wow!” Dallae, along with the people, erupted into a fit of cheers. “A lake just appeared! The fairy sisters are really awesome” Dallae said, and turned to look at them once again to take in their beauty, she made eye contact with the sister in the middle — and Dallae swore she saw her smile at her, but it slowly disappeared as soon as Garam had said something.
“Fairies! protect the water stone and this village!” Garam spoke aloud, the sisters nodded. “This lake will make all creatures thrive!” Garam continued, saying his words like he was making a promise.
“Hooray to the Sage! Hooray!” Many people from many different villages celebrated, for themselves and for their new saviour.
──────────
“Whoahh, it feels nice breathing the fresh air! Especially when we're so close to the water!” Danyi said with a big smile on her face as she plopped down on the mat she set up.
It was night time, and Sage Garam was generous enough to give the three sisters some items so they can be comfortable while they protect the water gem.
They searched for an area to put the said items, and perhaps, maybe get some sleep. And they ended up here. Fortunately, the water gem was close to this place, making the whole “protect the water gem” job easier.
“Are you saying that the boot camp was a bad place?” Yunju, the one with wispy bangs, asked her younger sister. Yunju's tone made it seem like she had thought of Danyi's sentence as slander towards the Sage's.
“?!” Danyi immediately sat up, “That isn't what I meant, Sister!” Danyi tried explaining herself, but seeing that her words weren't going through Yunju in any way, she looked at the eldest sister — (Y/N) who could only chuckled in amusement at the misunderstanding between the two.
There was never a boring time when the three of them were together.
(Y/N) walked towards Yunju. Danyi was ecstatic! Her sister is helping her get out of a lecture from Yunju—!
“Yunju, I'm going out for a bit.” (Y/N) said, and then walked off to go outside. Yunju looked at her older sister as she walked away, feeling a bit worried since it's already late at night. “Cut her some slack..” Bambi whispered.
“Sister..!” Danyi, not hearing the words (Y/N) whispered to Yunju, felt betrayed as her eldest sister's figure left and went outside. The individuals inside this little dorm of theirs are just her and Yunju now. Danyi, slowly but surely, turns to Yunju — only to see her already looking at her and opening her mouth to speak.
Nothing happened, Yunju just told Danyi to help her make some tea while they wait for (Y/N) to come back.
The night had already set. By now, it would be the perfect time to get sleep — to ensure that she would be refreshed for tomorrow. But (Y/N) couldn't help but be drawn to how the stars and moon looked in this particular night.
Boot camp gave the three sisters a specific schedule to follow and they'd already be in their dorms in the evening. They three had never been able to look at the night sky this way, in the open world.
(Y/N) knows that the her sisters in the dorm could also see the night sky too, but she felt that her view was much more mystical in comparison to theirs. Many animals were still awake at this time, taking in the moon's beauty before they go to sleep.
The calm white soothing ball shows it's face when the night falls, guiding those in the darkness, promising to send the light. (Y/N) saw three butterflies flying around, then another one following shortly behind them. She guessed it must be a newly hatched butterfly, flying around with its new friends.
Opting to not be distracted by the sight of the beautiful insects, (Y/N) walked off and went back to their dorm. She was greeted by the sight of Danyi sleeping on Yunju's shoulder, who looked like she was fighting her urge to sleep.
Yunju, upon seeing her older sister, immediately straightened up and positioned Danyi into a more comfortable sleeping position on the mat the both of them were sitting on. Bambi walked up to Yunju, asking why she hasn't already fallen to sleep yet.
“I..” Yes, Yunju could have slept any time now as she didn't have any reason not to. Danyi herself even fell asleep on her own. “I wanted to wait for you, but Danyi was already starting to get sleepy in the evening.”
Ah, The boot camp's schedule had already affected Danyi and her brain seemed to automatically think of the evening as time to sleep. Danyi must've really been trying to stay awake huh?
“Danyi wanted to stay awake too, she asked me to splash water on her face if her eyes dared to close.” (Y/N) smiled at that, Yunju let out a chuckle. “What were you doing outside anyway?” Yunju questioned, finding it weird since (Y/N) was never really the adventurous type. Well, compared to Yunju, (Y/N) is much more outgoing than her, but..
“I wanted to observe the place better. The night sky is beautiful.” (Y/N) said as she sat on her own mat, in the middle of Danyi and Yunju's.
“But our little ‘dorm’ is open to the night sky? you didn't really need to go outside to see it.” (Y/N) chuckled, Yunju had a point. That was also what (Y/N) thought as she was looking at the animals in the forest, who were also admiring the moon.
“I thought the view in the forest would be much more mystical to look at. After all, many animals out there often come out at night.” (Y/N) said, mentioning the butterflies she also saw.
“You both should join me next time.” (Y/N) suggested. Yunju nodded at her, thinking that it would be a good idea; a great opportunity for the three sisters to bond while they also get used to the new environment.
“Maybe tomorrow..” Yunju said. She then laid down on her mat, ready to go to sleep. “Goodnight.”
(Y/N) laid down too, but didn't go to sleep immediately. She took her time to observe the night sky until she herself succumbed into a deep sleep.

You wonder how Dallae got into this situation? Well..
“This town will be a perfect target, I've already raided them before. They definitely have some new pair of golds 'n jewelries hiding in their home.” A man said, his dark brown eyes glancing at the said town. He was already making up a plan in his head.

“What's with the sad face?”
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
#Pairing? Teru Minamoto x FEM!Reader
#Sypnosis. Your boyfriend finds out you've been keeping a secret from him, how does he react?
#Tags. The overused trope of three (in this case, two) of the boy's fangirls bullying his girlfriend lmao, Akane Aoi and Aoi Akane is here‼️
—This post was requested by anon. Thank you for requesting! 💕 I don't think this is exactly how you wanted Teru to find out, so I apologize for that! 😅
Tumblr media
When you had confessed to Teru you thought you would be rejected too, just like the girls who had poured their hearts out when they wrote their love letters for him.
You expected to have your heart broken as you prepared for the words that would shatter your heart as if it was just a fragile plate.
Getting rejected by the handsome prince isn't the worst that you expect; it was the sheer embarrassment that you'd have to deal with as you walk down the halls of the school.
You could only wonder what had happened to the girls that had gotten rejected by him, were they able to quickly move on?
Unfortunately, unlike them, you surely aren't someone who is able to handle rejection lightly, especially if it's from him.
But— Thank the heavens! The result was much more fruitful than you thought it would be. Pushing the negative thoughts of what people would think aside, Teru accepted your confession.
The both of you had agreed to keep the relationship on the low because Teru had many fangirls— and you know what would possibly happen if they found out.
Teru is worried about what would happen to you. Some girls are driven by love to the point they take it too far if they heard news about their crush having a significant other.
That's what led to this — apparently, a certain someone found out about your relationship between Teru and spread the news to the girls, particularly the ones who were known to be obsessed over him.
“Are you seriously Minamoto-senpai's girlfriend?” Kyoko doubted, right after hitting you multiple times earlier along with her best friend Mayu.
“Oh gosh, he must've been out of his mind!” Mayu snorted. No, their parents must've been out of their minds for giving them names that contradicted their personalities. Though, you suppose it wasn't their parents fault their daughters grew up to be bitches a pain in the neck.
“Minamoto-senpai is too good for you, y'know? He's like a prince charming and you..” Right after finishing her sentence, Mayu grimaced: showing a face of disgust. “Don't let the rumours get into your head..”
Well, that's true.. No. You weren't going to be gullible with all the stanky comments Mayu and Kyoko were throwing at you. But it still does bring some tears into your eyes — not enough for them to roll down your face though.
Oh come on, Teru had just comforted you over your insecurities 2 days ago and just plain words from two girls were already melting down the wall of confidence that Teru built up.
“Augh, come on.. is the crybaby gonna cry again? This is just a routine now” Kyoko sneered, annoyed at the routine she herself made. If she thought bullying you was such a chore then why doesn't she just stop? She might as well just be sadistic.
Crybaby. That was the nickname they gave you when they started this mess; ever since they noticed that you were awfully close with Teru. Way before you and him started dating.
You stood up. Well, at least tried to. The bruises Kyoko and Mayu left on your legs didn't really do you any good. Mayu had already beat you into pushing you against the wall before you could stand up.
Just as the two girls were gonna start berrating you again, a cough was heard from behind. The two turned around to see the one and only Akane Aoi. The two froze in fright, wondering what she was going to do.
Her petite figure walked up to the three of you, her indigo hair tied up into two circle sections behind her head as usual. Aoi stared at you with an expression Kyoko and Mayu couldn't read.
Kyoko and Mayu's next move proved that they were idiots. “Akane-san! The princess of the school! Wanna join us over here?” Kyoko suggested, earning a confused look from the indigo-haired girl.
“This little minx sitting on the dirty floor over here is supposedly dating the one and only Teru Minamoto. Could you believe how absurd that rumour is!? Especially since you and Minamoto-kun dated before..” Mayu babbled. Where did she get that information from? As far as you knew, Teru and Aoi never felt any romantic feelings towards each other. Akane would fume at the thought of that.
“What are you talking about?” Aoi looked like she was gonna burst at any moment, well, at least she looked like she was in your perspective. Because of Kyoko and Mayu not being one of Aoi's close friends, the two bullies in front of you wouldn't be able to relate with you being able to read Aoi and her expressions.
“I heard—” “Whatever you're gonna babble next, just shut up. This bathroom is already reeking because of the stank you and Kyoko are emitting. It'd stink more if you open your mouth again.” Aoi shut Mayu up, already fed up with the two girls in front of her.
“It's best you leave (name)-chan alone, unless you want this audio tape sent to the supreme student council office, where Minamoto-senpai would hear it.”
Hearing Teru's name and seeing Aoi shoving a videotape into their faces — repeating everything they said to you, the two girls quickly dashed out of the area.
It was just you and Aoi now. You stared at her as if she hung up the stars, bowing and thanking her profusely again and again for saving you from them. Aoi only crouched down and helped you to stand up. She then put your arm around her shoulder, guiding you as you two walk together towards the nurse's office.
The nurse's office wasn't far. Lucky day for you. It wasn't like you were dreading the time you were walking with Aoi anyway, while you were walking earlier, she had wiped off your tears and helped bring back a smile on your face. She joked about how the two girls didn't have any room to talk to you even — they literally are in the lowest ranks in the class when it comes to intelligence, while you and Aoi are in the top 10.
The nurse was generous (she always is) to have you excused to any of last the classes you had, and with Aoi's help, the teacher agreed to just sign you as ‘excused’.
When it was time to go home, the bruises on your legs have already healed a lot more than you expected. You thanked the nurse and grabbed your back (that Aoi dropped off earlier) so that you can head back home.
Unexpectedly, Aoi was there just as you opened the door of the nurse's office to leave. She said that she'd walk with you on the way home, as the both of your houses were close to each other.
“Where's Nene-chan?” You asked her.
“Hmm.. I don't know either. She's been spending a lot of time in the bathroom lately, do you think my story about Hanako-san took a toll on her?” Aoi responded. The thought of a ghost in the girl's bathroom sent chills down your spine — At least Hanako-san is a girl though, well, rumoured to be.
“AO-CHAN~!!” Ah, you knew that voice. Turning around in sync with Aoi, Akane walked up to you guys with a smile on his face. Though you felt like you were third wheeling..
A conversation started with Akane and Aoi as the three of you were walking. Akane invited himself to walk the both of you home (by both he definitely just meant Aoi, you didn't really care though).
Aoi didn't see a way to escape from this, the three of your houses were close and there wasn't an excuse she could make up except for “We're gonna have a girl's night. Only girls are allowed” and Akane would just unknowingly counter her by saying “I'm only walking with you until you arrive at your house, it'll be fine!”
The walk back home ended with Akane trying to have a long conversation with Aoi, only for it to be a short conversation. He'd try over and over again while you are just there; observing the two of them. Sometimes you'd often see Aoi's eyes light up more than they usually do, so you didn't bother to include yourself into their conversations.
Though, you really did want to ask what Aoi was going to be doing tomorrow. Tomorrow's Saturday after all, meaning no school to stress about.

*Audio file sent* ...What the hell?
Teru didn't know what to say or feel at the moment. He was just cooking for his siblings earlier right now and they are eating joyfully like a happy family. (Cue Kou excusing himself to go to the bathroom to barf)
A single audio file ruined his evening — even worse that what happened in the audio file had something to do with his girlfriend.
He messaged you, not to ask if the audio was real, he already had enough evidence. But to ask you if you were okay. You replied once he greeted you, but left him on read as soon as he typed the message: ‘Akane and Akane-san informed me about what happened to you today. Can we talk about it? Please?’ He spammed you with messages. He was worried.
After a while, his messages were left on sent. ‘..I'll be visiting you tomorrow.’ That was his last messaged before Teru had turned off his phone. As he looked up, expecting to see Kou and Tiara, he realized he was sthe only one sitting in the dinner table. Where did they go?
Tumblr media
You were nervous. It was the crack of dawn and you checked to see Teru's messages again, only to be left frightened because of the news that he'll be visiting you.
No. It wasn't like your parents had any issues with your boyfriend or anything, they loved him. What you were nervous about was the inevitable conversation that is going to happen today.
You weren't very much of a productive person during the weekdays, so you opted to take a bath later instead of right now in the early morning. Not like Teru would mind anyway.
It wasn't long before 7:47 AM, exactly the time Teru arrived at the doorstep of your home. Your mom, though surprised that your boyfriend unexpectedly visited so early, welcomed him warmly.
Before your mom could lead him to the living room so he could sit down while she goes to your room to call for you, he already saw you taking a sneak peak of him from the stairs. Immediately, as if in a emergency, Teru excused himself and hurriedly walked upstairs to your room almost tripping halfway.
“..Young love~” You mother sighed in happiness for her daughter.
“I don't know, it kind of looks like they're gonna break up.” Your father broke your mom from her dream of you getting married to Teru.
“Don't say that!” She hissed at him, grabbing her slipper—
“Please let me in sweetheart,” Teru begged in a soft tone, not wanting to overwhelm you with everything that was happening.
You cracked the door open slightly. You saw him smile reassuringly. You then opened it enough for Teru to walk in, as Teru is finally inside he waited for you to close your door. He knew you liked it best when conversations between you and him were in private.
“You could've just called.. you didn't have to come here.” You told him, only to be countered by his next words.
“I knew you wouldn't reply anyway when you hear my voice from the phone.” Teru responded, only to get a playful hit from you.
“So..” The room was silent as you locked your door for privacy, fearing that one of you're parents would possibly walk in.
“How long has this bullying been going on for?” Teru asked as he walked closer to you, holding your hand in his and rubbing his thumb across your knuckles.
“..Way before you and I started dating.” You answered truthfully, it was better to speed up this conversation than to slower it down and tell lies.
At that, Teru froze. “Why didn't you tell me?” Almost immediately, Teru used his other hand (the one not holding yours) to wipe away the tears that were starting to brim in your eyes.
Teru knew you like he knew his own mind. He knew that you were getting overwhelmed and we're crying because of it. He could almost predict every move that you were gonna do.
Teru smiled at you softly, then gently held the back of your head. Sobs that came out of your mouth turned muffled as he gently pushed your face into his t-shirt. You wrapped your arms around him, feeling a sense of comfort.
“If you don't want to talk about it now, then that's okay. There's no use dwelling on the past.” Teru muttered as he kissed the top of your head. “I'll deal with those girls at school. You won't have anything to worry about.”
Teru continues to comfort you through your muffled sobs, you hear a series of “shh” and words of encouragement throughout the whole ordeal.
Teru tilted your head up to meat his eyes and wiped away any tears still on your face. Also, he used his shirt to wipe of your snot too — much to your embarrassment.
After that he peppered your face with kisses, resulting into the two of you cuddling in your bed the rest of the morning. But your mom called the two of you down stairs when she noticed you haven't eaten breakfast yet.
The rest of the day ended with Teru hanging out with you and your family. Teru invited you to go on a date tomorrow — his treat ofcourse (nothing changed, he was always the one who pays). Tiara decided to come along that day, not that you minded.
Tumblr media
Sunday passed, and the walk to school with Aoi was peaceful if you just ignore Akane in the background. The bruises have healed, thanks to your mom and Teru. Dad was the one stressing over the many things he had to buy from the store and pharmacy.
“You look better now. Guessing the talk between you and Minamoto-senpai went well?” Aoi asked as the two of you were at the school gate. Akane got called by the other student council's to hurry up because of an urgent early meeting.
“It went very well.” I answered, giving her a thankful smile. “Thanks again, for protecting me that day..”
“No need.” The two of you walked towards the classroom. “Oh! Nene-chan is finally here!” Aoi chimed, delighted to see her friend. Her absence in classes made her seem like she went missing.
You followed Aoi as she went to converse with Nene. You also gave out some opinions and thoughts about the topic the three of you were conversing about, but only like once or six times since you really didn't know a lot about supernaturals.
The teacher finally arrived, students immediately went to go sit down on their seats. Akane was still busy with the student council meeting you suppose. But what was weird is Kyoko and Mayu not being there chattering, judging everyone in their field of view as if they had any room to talk.

Idk why but as I read this I pictured you as the Knight.
Back then, I didn't know what "send us feedback" meant but GT was my first and always will be my fav game so I felt like I needed to put feedback so you know what I did? I typed a whole ass paragraph about my oc and my Garam obsessed ass even decided to put "-If it's okay, could they also be Garam's love interest?" 😭😭
I was soo dumb and I was literally having a whole one-sided conversation with GT devs I swear. I wonder what their reaction was if they saw that.

Omg 😂😂 Did the knight forget that they were supposed to meet with Craig?
Craig offers the knight that he'll teach them how to defend and use their shield. A Knight's duty is to fight and defend, afterall.
Tumblr media
"Wait wait wait, are you saying that the way I use my shield is bad?"
Tumblr media
"Knight.. you don't use your shield at all."
Gender Neutral Knight
It was another normal day in heavenhold, all the people here hanging out and the kids playing freely.
Wait, did a glass just shatter? Nah. The knight was probably just hearing things.
But the knight is sure they were definitely not hearing things when Craig suddenly asked them if he could teach them how to use their shield.
"Wait wait wait, are you saying that the way I use my shield is bad?" The knight said as they pointed a finger at Craig and looked at him with an offended look on their face.
"Knight.. you don't use your shield at all."
"Alright, that's true but you know, you don't really have to help me with anything.." The knight said while scratching the back of their head. In truth, they actually really did need guidance on how to use their shield.
But just because they needed it didn't mean that it actually mattered, right? They already fought monsters who were said to be stronger than them and were even able to befriend Beth!
Well, were they actually friends? Beth denies it whenever someone asks.. But that's besides the point!
"Yes, I know," Craig said as he smiled softly "You are fully capable of doing many things and surviving many instances where you could almost die."
Craig chuckled before continuing, "I mean, how could I not know? I'm basically one of your travel companions."
The knight grinned, "See? I don't need any guid-" "But that doesn't mean you can keep on recklessly throwing yourself to the enemies while just swinging your sword everywhere."
The knight looked at Craig skeptically, a bit offended that he just interrupted them mid-sentence.
Craig, noticing their change of expression,"I apologize for interrupting you.. but really, the enemies in the next world might be more dangerous. I'm worried that I won't be able to defend the team enough."
The knight sighed and looked down at the ground, contemplating what to say. "It's understandable, the enemies are expected to be much stronger,"
The Knight said as they looked back up to Craig with a smile on their face. "But you're really strong Craig, I don't doubt your ability to protect the team!"
Craig looked down and scratched the back of his neck, feeling shy at the sudden praise the knight gave him.
"Haha.." Craig chuckled before looking at the knight again "Are you trying to run away from training by flattering me?"
The knight gasped dramatically, both of their hands covering their mouth and everything.
It was times like these, they all can forget how sad the world has become.
"Craig! How could you accuse me of such a thing!" The knight said as they removed their hands from covering their mouth, revealing a frown before it got replaced with a bright smile, then turned into a fit of laughter.
Craig chuckled and the knight shook their head, "It would be an honor to be taught by the drill instructor of heavenhold!" said the knight.
"I think i'm much more honored, being able to teach the guardian who wields the champion's sword." Craig said with a fond smile on his face.
"Ah! Finally! Someone who takes notice of one of my many amazing achievements!"
Craig coughed before his expression turned much more serious. "Okay, enough fooling around, will you let me teach you or not?"
The knight let out a chuckle, "Of course! But first," The knight turned to walk away but not before looking back to Craig. "I'll go get my shield, then you'll teach me?"
Craig nodded gave the knight a look of approval, "Just meet me back here, this area is clear enough for us to use as a training area."
As the knight's figure left Craig's line of sight, Craig suddenly felt like he shouldn't have let them go.
Tumblr media
Eva smiled softly as she waved goodbye to the knight.
She hoped that they will return back to heavenhold safely, she knows that there is most likely nothing to worry about because the knight is fully capable and strong, but still..
Eva strolled through heavenhold peacefully, it was such a sunny day. Though it wasn't as peaceful as to before there were invaders, atleast there were still people that she held dear.
Eva spotted Craig in the corner of her eye, he seemed to look troubled. So, she walked towards him to check if he was okay or not.
"Craig, Is everything alright?" Eva said as she was close enough to start a conversation with him. "Anything I can do to help? You look troubled."
"Ah.. was it really obvious?" Craig said as he looked at Eva. "It's nothing really, I'm just waiting for the knight here. But they're taking quite a long time to get their shield.."
Huh? The knight had already went to go on an expedition earlier.. Craig must have not known.
"Craig, the knight already left heavenhold to go on an expedition."
"What."

Lan WangJi replied, "We will wait until we find them. After all, we do what we must." Wei Wuxian, "Just by using nets?" Lan XiChen, "That is right. Does the YunmengJiang Sect have other methods?" Wei Wuxian smiled but didn't respond. Of course, the YunmengJiang Sect used nets as well. But, because he was a good swimmer, he had always jumped into the river and dragged water ghouls out. However, this method was too dangerous; he definitely couldn't do it in front of the Lan Sect's people.
....I'm sorry, what

OMG A GUARDIAN TALES POST 😱😱
Garam and Nari both have a taste of (Name)'s cooking for the first time. Nari doesn't know what to say.
Tumblr media
(Male!reader)
When Nari had waited for her dear friend, (Name), to finally finish cooking she expected to have a whole buffet on the table. The image of cakes and overall other desserts we're already making Nari drool.
In fact, Nari was even able to vividly imagine herself stuffing the delicious food in her mouth with some crumbs left on her cheeks as she tries to eat them all up quickly in fear of Garam eating the ones she likes.
You can't blame her for expecting SS class food, (Name) was an amazing person, Not like Nari would admit that though. He was skilled with his fighting techniques and to top it off, he was rather attractive. Surely his cooking would match with that too right?
To be honest, Nari was actually quite sure she made a fool of herself for thinking that. Seriously, was this dish in front of her even edible? Nari could feel herself turning blue just by looking at it's appearance.
Okay, okay, that might have been an exaggeration.
Garam didn't seem to mind the appearance of the dish, rather, he was smelling the aroma of it. To him, the smell was new. It was unfamiliar but he concluded that it was to be expected since (Name) is someone who spends more time surrounded with humans. This must be a new recipe of some sort.
Garam eagerly took in more of the aroma of the dish his friend had prepared for him and Nari; a fragrant smell he had never experienced before. His lips curved into a wide smile as he put his fork into the food in front of him, and before he knew it, he had taken a bite-- almost forgetting that he had yet to ask (Name) what the dish consisted of.
As soon as he tasted it, his smile faltered ever so slightly; it was undoubtedly the strangest thing Garam had ever placed in his mouth, and truth be told, it wasn't particularly pleasant. The ingredients featured in the dish included some unknown combination of mushrooms, a few questionable vegetables, and a mysterious green substance that neither Garam nor Nari could identify.
"Uh.." Nari hesitantly gripped her fork as she looked at the food in front of her. Should she also eat this? Perhaps it was better if she didn't but she also didn't want to make (Name) upset. Wait, since when did she care so much for him!?
After several lengthy moments of contemplation, Garam had finally recovered from the first taste of (Name)'s cooking.
"It's.. not one of my favorites." Garam admitted, (Name) didn't seem to care too much about his opinion. Despite Garam's words, he decided to take a bite again, much to Nari's surprise.
A few moments later and it was just Nari staring weirdly at Garam as he was about to finish the last bite of the food.
Was Garam okay? Did Dallae's death that happened years ago take a toll on him that much to the point that he would even decide to finish this horrid-looking food just so he could catch a glimpse of that child again?
Garam took the last bite, savoring it as if it were the world's finest delicacy. After he had finished, Garam turned to look at (Name) who was seated beside him.
"Thank you for making this." Garam said, his voice melodious and sincere. Didn't he literally just say that the cooking wasn't one of his favorites? To Nari, Garam will always be a mystery.
"You‘re welcome," (Name) said as he proudly grinned. "It‘s no problem at all."
Garam and (Name) exchanged a look that Nari couldn‘t quite understand. She felt as if she was intruding in a private moment, so she decided to give them their space and try the food for herself.
"Garam," (Name) called out. "If you ever get hungry again, you know where to find me!"
"I'll.. keep that in mind."
(Meanwhile, Nari is planning to have (Name) try to get cooking lessons from the innkeeper in heavenhold).
"Hey Garam," (Name) called out to the Nine-Tailed Fox again, the both of them shared a similar expression, "You can't help yourself huh? You finished the food so quickly!" (Name) teased as they scooted closer to Garam.
Garam softly smiled and let out a hum, already used to (Name)'s teasing. Nari huffed out and told (Name) to stop bothering Garam, making the said male whine and complain to Nari that he wasn't bothering Garam at all.

My guilty pleasure are those "bad" empress mobile games where you rise in rank. Honestly they can be so pretty and so fun.
Royal Chaos is about you trying to reach the rank of Empress because the lady ranked right below Empress sentenced your father to live in poverty forever; you're trying to help him. Also, you might fall in love with the young Emperor (which can be fairly hard to do considering he is with hundreds of other concubine).
Legend of the Phoenix is about you trying to get close to the Crown Prince because you were his lover, but after you helped him beat all his brothers in a completion and let him became the "Crown Prince", he killed you. You reincarnate as an average girl and enter the palace as a maid. You are trying to rise up in rank to get close to him and kill him. Also you get to have a secret reverse harem.
I just got Fate of the Empress, and I am super excited!!

number 1 Children with masumi? I've just found out the lyrics for his song and Now I want to hug him
Usui Masumi:
Children: Taking care of your children with the character.
“Festival food always tastes even more yummy, doesn’t it?”
Your son nodded his head as he eagerly popped another piece of takoyaki into his mouth, one arm solidly wrapped around yours while the other stuffed food in his face. He was finally old enough to thoroughly enjoy the festivals that rolled through during the seasons and you’d practically begged Masumi to go tonight, knowing that the fireworks would be bright, beautiful, and just what your son needed to end his first time at a festival. You were eating now before you had to look for a decent spot, with Masumi reluctantly leaving to patrol different stalls looking for a few of your favorites so you could enjoy yourself, too.
“Excuse me, ma’am, but you look so young to have a child that age...” An awkward way for a handsome man to introduce himself but you took it in stride, giving a polite smile and a laugh. “A beautiful person such as yourself shouldn’t be enjoying an event like this alone!”
“Why don’t you back off?” Your son grumbled out with a full mouth. “My dad could kick your butt.”
“Don’t be rude. But also... I do have a husband so I’m not lonely.”
“Ah, I see,” You don’t think the man actually saw anything as he was rubbing his chin thoughtfully, telling you he wasn’t going to go away without a fight; you hoped Masumi’s ‘my partner is being hit on’ senses were tingling right now because you could really use him, “Well, I can keep you company until he’s back so that these other creeps don’t bother you. Where is he?”
“Right here,” Masumi’s tone was as icy as his glare and you watched the man shudder, taking a step back as your son got a triumphant look on his face, “Get lost.”
“I knew you’d fight him off, dad!” Your sons eyes are glowing as Masumi sits on his other side, pushing the food he’d gathered in front of the two of you; his eyes met yours and you flashed him an ‘I’m okay!’ smile before beginning to dig in. Your son unlatched himself from you and moved over to Masumi, proving over and over he was truly his father’s son as he tells his father how ready he was to defend your honor from the ‘bad guy’ who tried to talk to you. Masumi nodded along, a small, amused smile making its way to his face before he lightly taps at your sons hand.
“Blow on it first,” Masumi pulled the steaming hot piece of chicken away from before your son could decimate the roof of his mouth, blowing gently before handing the piece back, “You’ll burn your mouth that way.”
Watching this scene before you made you endlessly happy as Masumi hadn’t known if he would be a good father, not having anything to model himself after. You’d been partially worried that he was so protective and clingy that he might go as far as to be jealous of his own child, but luckily, he’d mostly grown out of his possessive stage. He was a bundle of nerves and fear when you were pregnant, even more so when you were in pain giving birth, but there was a sense of relief you felt when he cradled your son in his arms for the very first time. You knew he’d be a good father, that he’d learned from the mistakes his own parents had made, and that he’d love that baby with his entire heart, the same way he loved you.
There was only one other person in the world he’d willingly share you with and that would be your child.

Note🍀= SORRY THIS TOOK SO MUCH LONGER THAN IT SHOULD HAVEEE BUT YES YOU CAN BE 🎀 ANON 😡😡💕💕
A bimbo girlfriend
Genshin masterlist
💐Your bouquet has been delivered <3💐
Tumblr media
Albedo
he never thought he’d be dating you, the man that was well known for being strong and charming, yet extremely dumb. Being the chief alchemist in mondstat held an immense amount of pressure in the title and everday the string that held the stress kept getting thinner.
That was before you came into his life. The stress piled up on his shoulders suddenly disappeared with your arrival, you were fresh air that helped him be more optimistic about his repetitive job.
He loves how energetic you are, it cheers him up everyday when he’s reminded of the monotonous place in dragonspine he goes to everyday, your energy saturates his dull little world and he couldnt care less if you dont understand many complex things.
Your dumb questions actually sort of amuse him, whenever you ask a dumb question while rolling around on his office chair full of energy he cant help but smile slightly.
He’ll answer all your questions though! Hes not sure how to explain it in a way you'd understand but he’ll answer all of them.
Your energy is what keeps him going everyday ngl- everyday he looks so tired and your bursts of energy and how loud you are just wakes him up,
He doesnt understand the idea of jealousy but he learns how it is when he catches women all over you, touching at your biceps and caressing your clothed chest, showering you in compliments, he gets a bit protective when he finds out how much power you have with your looks despite your decreasing IQ
he will sometimes get a bit bugged when you wake him up in the middle of the night filled with energy but other than that he loves everything about your dumb himbo ass
“Hey bedo!” “Hm?”
“How do you spell orange?”
The small smile on his face turns into an unreadable one as he deadpans.
“U-uh… o-r-a-n-g-e…”
“Thanks baby!”
You kiss your boyfriend on the head as you take note of the spelling
“Y-y/n did you go to school..?”
He swears in his head you have the same amount of knowledge as klee, maybe even less.. even she can spell orange!
Tumblr media
Diluc
Genuinely confused as to why he fell inlove with you, its a mystery to all tbh! He’s one of the most famous and one of the wealthiest people in tevyat and when word gets around hes dating some dude whos concerningly handsome and has an average IQ of 5 the entire continent goes up in gossip
He tells you not to worry about it when people stare but you know better than to care, your the one dating diluc ragnvindr.
Hes so dull and quiet his entire life changed when you and your undying energy came into his life. Everyday was greeted with your energetic self and he couldn’t ask for more. Your energy and liveliness always lightens up his day, he wont admit it but it does.
Your dumb questions dont amuse him in the slightest <3 hes quite very much done. But he’ll answer all of them monotonously
He really thought no one could compete with his looks honestly. Thats until he saw a hoard of women all over you going absolute feral for your biceps and your muscles, fangirling and caressing your chest like it was a work of art of something
He was furious, shoved all the women off of you and took his tall hot strong dumbass back to his home
The fact you dont understand anything complex is a pain in the ass to him but kinda adorable. Knowing hes smarter than you boost his ego a lot- he hates when anyone ever comments on your knowledge, if they say anything bad about you and how your not smart theyll be greeted by his fist.
That personality trait of yours, being a dumbass that oblivious and gullible just makes him wanna subtly protect you even more and he kills everyone who tries and insults you 😡 (and flirt with you, only diluc gets to see ur man boobs)
Tumblr media
Kaeya
He was completely and utterly infatuated with you ever since he met you. You stood there in his office because of a friend looking through books you didnt understand.
Even before you started daying he would flirt with you every chance he got staring at you amusingly as you tried to decipher his words.
When you started dating the flirting became non stop, showering you in praise and teases regarding how charming you were or how even though you have no idea how to do basic maths he loves you either way 😍
Your energy was something he loved more than anything in life, your optimism always put a smile on his face and made him forget about all the bumps and the obstacles in life. If he had a terrible day at work for example all he would need is a kiss from you or a dumb question coming out of your mouth and hed be smiling in no time
No matter how much people think your bursts of energy are annoying he’ll always love them sm and tease you.
The fact you are an absolute dumbass doesnt matter to him, if you want he’ll teach you stuff. Despite his flirty personality if you genuinely want to learn something he’ll take time out of his day to try and explain it to you in the simplest way possible
He doesnt get jealous at the sight of women & men fangirling over you but instead joins them in while glaring competitively at the crowd thats caressing your chest
Tumblr media
Xiao
You annoyed him at first, you were taller than him looked stronger than him had 100 times more energy than him and was straight-up stupid.
It was everyday of the week, the moment you got back from a commission or an adventure youd skip to wangshu inns balcony to talk to xiao and ask him borderline idiotic questions about liyue and basic things like how to spell “light”
He’ll never admit it but within that era of blooming love he never found it annoying, he loved your company and the dumb questions made him feel fairly smart. You’ll never see it but theres a soft smile on his face whenever you run up to him full of energy engulfing him into a hug with your tall figure. (Stares at ur man boobs ngl 😊)
He always accidentally talks about you when hes having conversations with zhongli too 😭 maybe its about your dumb questions or how energetic you are but theres never the slightest bit of hostility in the claims, its like he’s saying he enjoys the dumb questions and the energy.
He may or may not jab at you whenever you ask questions like how to spell liyue but he doesnt actually mean it—
He never understood the concept of jealousy till he met you, the first time he saw a crowd of people squeezing your biceps and touching at your skin made him go feral and he literally threatened everyone 🙁

MORE THAN FRIENDS, LESS THAN LOVERS.
i really thought I'd be better off, but i missed you more than i thought i would. ( or : xiao texts you at 4:00 am. )
Tumblr media
ft. xiao x genderneutral reader.
warnings : angst, fluff, modern au, post-breakup, hopeful endings, fine line by harry styles oh my GOD
Tumblr media
xiao is good at leaving — which sounds harsh, maybe it's better to say he's bad at staying. xiao's bad at staying, yet he can't seem to leave you behind, either.
the room's quiet, empty — devoid of any trace of you, the only piece of you left in his part of the universe is an old sweater that was "more his style" draped over his desk chair.
double sided tape's still stuck to his walls and he inwardly groans at the fact he has to get rid of it someday — that he has to get rid of the pictures that used to be stuck to that tape, that he had to get rid of you completely.
it's cold, and maybe it's always been cold and he just never noticed. it's cold and all xiao can think about is how you'd be sleeping on the empty pillow beside him if it weren't for everything he did.
the screen of his phone illuminated his face, the only light in his otherwise dark room. xiao stares at your profile, wincing at the past messages he sent — at the nickname he set for you that he hasn't had the heart to change.
xiao isn't sure why he started typing — why now, when he thought that he was finally starting to get over it. he'd say when he was finally starting to forget, but you're not someone he wants to forget just yet.
he must've rewritten that text a million times, because in the hours of comfortable silence you both shared, xiao realizes there was so much more he wanted to say, yet he never said a word.
the words he never said, the things he never acted on are the same things that haunt him every minute he's awake — sometimes it even followed him to his dreams, the thought of what could've happened if he did.
xiao: are you awake?
xiao sighs, covering his eyes with the back of his hand. it feels like iron butterflies are floating in his stomach, like a mix of giddiness and anxiety, the kind that weighs on your chest till you can't breath.
my bb :) ‹3: no ?? wjy r u awake ??'
he can feel his lips quirk into a smile, even if it's for a split second. '
xiao : so you didn't learn to type while i was gone ://'
my bb :) ‹3: fuck u too
it feels like an eternity before you start typing again, and even then, you stop and rewrite before sending another directly after.
my bb :) ‹3: are you okay?
there's a pause between your texts, and you can feel your head pounding — you're not too sure if it's the morning cold or the fact xiao was talking to you.
my bb :) ‹3: why did u message me?
you see him type and you panick — sending strings of messages following your last. '
my bb :) ‹3: not that that's bad !!'
my bb :) ‹3: just because we're not together doesn't mean you can't talk to me anymore.
xiao can barely manage a laugh, and he can only imagine how stupid he looks right now, about to cry at just a few words.
xiao: i miss you.
and there he is again, yet as he types those three words, xiao can't bring it in himself to send it. not now, he thinks. not when he's just getting the chance to talk to you again.
xiao: you left your sweater here.
my bb :) ‹3: that's ok. u can throw it away if you want :]
as if xiao could ever throw out any of the things you've given him.
the cold envelopes him, his breath forming clouds in the mist. it's 4:00 am, and xiao doesn't know — doesn't want to know what it is about your everything that forces him to break down. that forces him to tear down the walls he's spent his entire life building up.
xiao: im sorry for everything that happened.
xiao doesn't think he'd ever be worthy of your forgiveness, but it's the crack of dawn and he doesn't think he'd forgive himself if he didn't say anything.
xiao: and for everything that didn't get to happen
your caller id fills his screen and xiao doesnt think he's ever been so unsure in his life. he swallows, yet it doesn't do anything to stop the panick settling into his chest. it passes, and he can only stare at his phone, unsure of what to do.
you start typing again, and for once, xiao understands what people mean by their heart dipped.
my bb :) ‹3: please pick up
you call again, and xiao picks up almost immediately. you're both quiet, the only thing assuring him that you're there on the other line is your breathing.
"hi." you start after a few minutes of sitting in silence, and what you'd give to be able to sit with him and not be worried of, well, everything. what you'd give for that silence to be comfortable again. "uh—hi, xiao."
xiao takes a breath, hoping it would calm his nerves and the shaking of his voice because god he missed hearing yours. "hi, [name]."
his voice comes out shaky anyway, and maybe that's just something he can't help anymore. your text floods his brain, because xiao could write a book with everything he wanted to say to you, everything he wished he could've said — yet when he finally got the chance to, he goes blank.
you laugh at the other end of the line and xiao didn't realize how much he adored your laugh until now. he hadn't realized how much he missed you until now. "i-im sorry for texting you i just — i don't know." he sighs, running a hand through his hair. even if he doesn't deserve your forgiveness, he knows you deserve his apologies. "you should sleep."
his thumb hovers over the end call button, he's not sure if it's because he had nothing to say or because he doesn't want you to hear him cry.
"wait don't i just— are you sure?" you ask quickly, taking a deep breath after. like you could feel him about to hang up.
"what?"
"are you sure that we're not ... ahem, that you don't think we can work anymore."
you sound exasperated, and xiao wants so badly to tell you you're wrong, to tell you about how everything reminds him of you, to tell you about the extra pillow, to tell you everything he can't.
"because if you are then .. ill leave you alone. ill forget it — ill forget we ever happened."
a four letter word has never held so much meaning over him and despite the repercussions it holds he's not sure what else would describe what you were to him. because if love wasn't what he felt, then he was sure that what the felt was greater than love itself.
"i— you don't have to answer that i just .." your voice echoes through his head and he's not sure when you'd let him talk to you again.
"i love you." xiao breathes. it's quiet — and the weight in his chest feels like it could swallow him whole. it's quiet and xiao can only hope that four letter word held enough meaning to be able to say everything he wishes he could. "even if you don't love me back, even if we're just a little more than friends and a little less than — less than what we had. "
"i miss you, you know that right?" you sniffle, and xiao wishes he never made you cry. "i miss you, but i can hate you so much sometimes." not i missed, because you don't think you ever stopped.
xiao whispers as fatigue creeps up on him. "i missed you more than i thought i would."
it's quiet as dawn stretches across the horizon, light purples an pinks brightening the otherwise grey sky. it's quiet and there's nothing left to say.
the birds croak outside his house and xiao' scared he's loved you just a little too late, but even if he isn't the one for you, if all of this is temporary, then he thinks that he'll be okay with the memories you share.
even if he won't be the one for you, no matter how much he really wanted to, he'll learn to be okay, because loving you was more than anything he thought he was capable of.
i love you's are whispered till you fall asleep, and xiao has hope that you'll both be fine.

Hi hi! I love your writing and I wanted to request a Camilo x Reader fic? It starts off as the two being the best of friends until Camilo and her got into some antics in the village which forces Y/N’s father to send her away to become a proper ‘lady’. Basically the opening sequence of the Book of Life scene with Manolo and Maria? Years pass by and she returns to Encanto all grown up, ladylike, and beautiful? So much so that the reader, once one of the troublesome kids of Encanto, is now the town’s golden girl, adored by the whole village? And Camilo is a lovestruck fool who tries to make Y/N’s father approve of him as well as make Y/N fall for him? ✨💖
sorry it took a bit to get to your request! but omg i used to watch the book of life daily its so good!!! also sorry that i didn’t include a lot about her father
Win My Affection
camilo madrigal x fem!reader
One of your fondest memories was when you were 6, you were playing hide and seek in a donkey pen with your best friend Camilo. You had chased each other around and fallen onto each other in a pile. That day marked the anniversary of his Tio Bruno's leaving. It was a very hard day for everyone in town, especially the Madrigal's. He had cried into your shoulder as you held him in front of his uncle's room. As you pulled him tighter, you promised yourself that you would never leave him.
All that changed when one day, your strict father decided your rebellious behaviour wouldn't cut it anymore. When you were 10, he sent you off to an elite boarding school that would shape you into a young woman. As you took the train to your new home, you hugged Camilo just as you had all those years ago, promising him that you would be back.
Bells rang and flags were raised up high. Decorations covered Encanto, marking your arrival. Camilo had woken up with the sun, giddy and ready to make this day perfect for his childhood best friend. The whole town was awake too, as your father was known throughout Encanto as one of Abuela's closest friends.
Trumpets sounded and people clapped as you walked into Encanto. They had formed an aisle for you to walk through, your family and the Madrigal's waiting at the end. Your face was covered by a large sunhat and your figure was that of a graceful young woman's. Camilo's jaw dropped as you took your sunhat off and shook your hair. You were absolutely stunning.
Your childhood bullies nearly drooled at the sight of you, your eyes glowing in the sun. Dropping your luggage on the ground, you spotted Camilo, his hands still clapping. Running towards him, you jumped into his arms, your head resting on his shoulder as he held you up.
"It's so good to see you!" you practically yelled as he put you down. "Yeah, you too," he responded half-heartedly, watching nearly half a dozen people race to get your dropped luggage. You knew that you had a major glow up and that now you were a beautiful young woman, but you hadn't expected the town to act like this upon your arrival.
---------- The Next Day -----------
You woke up to the sound of birds chirping, and looked out of your window curiously. You saw a pack of chocolates and a bouquet of flowers waiting outside your front door. Still in your pajamas, you walked to the door and looked at the gifts. “From Camilo” they read. You smiled to yourself, when you were younger you had a crush on the shapeshifter, and seeing him trying to win your affections would make your younger self smile.
You were about to close the door when Camilo suddenly appeared on your doorstep. Turning around, you see that he was holding a guitar and trying to hold a rose in his mouth. Giggling to yourself, you lean against the doorway with your brow raised, waiting to see what he’d do.
Camilo spat the rose out sheepishly and started singing You knew that he had a wonderful voice, but you hadn’t realised how puberty had hit him. He went from a high pitched soprano to having a calming and deep voice. Although you wouldn’t admit it, your heart would always ache when you thought of him at your boarding school, always wondering what he was doing at that moment.
After he was done singing, you exchanged a flirty conversation with him before closing the door on his face. After all, you had just returned and didn’t want to make your father mad at you. Sighing, you held the rose to your nose and leaned against your door.
A few hours later, you were surrounded by hormonal teenage boys, each trying to win your love. They recited bad pickup lines and tried to impress you with cringy poetry. The only boy that really mattered, though, was Camilo. He had become disheartened from looking at how many suitors you had acquired overnight. After listening to some random boy’s sappy story about love at first sight, you sat next to your childhood friend.
“I liked your song this morning,” you said, hoping for a response.
Camilo muttered a small thanks before looking up at you. Without warning, he pulls you in for a kiss. It was short, and lasted for barely 5 seconds. After pulling away, his eyes widened,
“Oh my god I don’t know why I did that oh my god-”
You cut him off with another kiss, smiling at how nervous he became.
“I promised I’d come back.” You whispered, resting your head on Camilo’s shoulder as your hands intertwined.
is it bad that i had a crush on Joaquin
also i might do a part 2 bc i feel like i didnt do the prompt well 😿

⊹₊ ⋆ ❝ Camilo's s/o having powers like Pepa ❞

✎ ⁞ Camilo Madrigal x Female! Reader who can control the weather

You were already dating Camilo for two years. You both were very close, because you were the same age and basically knew each other your whole life.
At this point, you've officially met his family, both as a Camilo's friend and girlfriend. Fortunately for you, they immediately accepted you as on of their own.
The same had happened with your family. Your parents knew that Camilo was one for you and already gave him their blessings.
So, you could tell that you both were living your dream life, where your love grew stronger everyday.
Although all Madrigal's were really happy to have you, Pepa still outshined them with her vivid rainbows and bright sun, that suddenly appeared whenever her wide eyes had found you. It could be even just a glance but that was enough for her to grow all happy.
Because in her eyes, you were already like her daughter. You were just so cute and polite, that she had often wondered how her son had managed to get someone like you. But anyway she was happy for you two.
One day, Pepa woke up with fierce determination to hand out with her future daughter. After she had a beautiful dream about your and Camilo's wedding, she was sure it was a sign for her. A sign to start working to make this dream a reality.
This day the sun shined especially brightly and no cloud could be seen in the sky. It meant that Pepa was in a truly happy mood. A rare sight to see.
Madrigal's, although very happy, were also very curious. During breakfast, everyone asked Pepa what got her in such a good mood. When asked, she chirped happily that it was nothing, and continue to eat. Everyone deadpanned, seeing a rainbow appearing above her head but decided not to investigate further.
But her eldest son, Camilo, eyed his mother auspiciously. He knew his mother was planning something and his gut was telling him that it involved him. Don't get me wrong, he loved his mother to death, but he knew that he and his mother shared this... sneakiness. And he got a bad feeling about what she was planning.
And unknowingly to him, his gut was right.
After breakfast, without another word, Pepa rushed out of the Casita, on a mission to find you. It didn't take her too long to find you, because you were just peacefully minding your business and being in the middle of the walk.
When her eyes found you, a rainbow appeared over her head and she practically sprinted to you, smiling widely.
You just blinked and Pepa suddenly appeared before you, making you flinch a little, because you had no idea where did she came from.
❝ Hello, mi hija! Let's spend some time together! ❞ Pepa exclaimed, before dragging you to her favorite spot, which was a small meadow before crops. You, still confused, only watched the hyper happy women before with confusion clearly written on you face.
You were used to Pepa calling you her daughter and after a few first times, where your face turned into a bright red tomato, you just started to accept it. Camilo also didn't mind that. In fact he often teased you about already being a Madrigal.
But anyway! You and Pepa found yourself sitting in that meadow, talking about anything and everything. It was fun and you had to admit, that you were enjoying yourself.
And just when everything was going smoothly...the shit went down.
Some children were playing nearby and throwing mud at themselves. *sigh* One of those children, already fully covered in mud, took a big scoop of it, and threw it with all his might before him. Unfortunately for him, some mud got in his eye, and he couldn't see where he was aiming. *Another sigh* And, my dear readers, guess who the mud had hit?
❝ Ack-! ❞ Pepa gasped, feeling something cold hit her back. Both yours and her eyes widened, as you both tried to comprehend what had just happened.
You covered your mouth, seeing Pepa slowly turn around, revealing mud sliding down her beautiful orange dress.
Pepa felt anger bubbling inside her, as the very familiar cloud appeared over her head. The cloud turned dark and rain started pour down on her. Her dress...your meeting...was destroyed...
❝ Pepa, are you alright-? Ack-! ❞
A small lightning accidentally struck you, sending a electrical shock through your body. But unlike you had expected, it didn't hurt. In fact, you felt something new unlock inside of you.
Pepa gasped loudly, horrified. She just struck her daughter! She will leave her, and then break up with her son and there won't be any wedding or grandkids or-
❝ Mami, breath! ❞ Pepa heard your soothing voice, and felt your smaller hands softly grasping her own. ❝ Breath in, breath out. ❞
A small hurricane that started to appear around her, disappeared as she followed your instructions, taking deep breaths. After a few more minutes of calming down, a cloud above her head also disappeared and the sunny weather came back.
With one last breath, Pepa opened her eyes and looked down at you. Your hair was standing up because of the statics and you eyes were full of worry for her.
❝ Oh my...! I'm so sorry, mi hija! I didn't mean to hurt you! Are you alright? Do we need to go to mi Hermana? ❞ Pepa gasped softly, putting her hands on your shoulders and looking up and down at you, checking if you're hurt anywhere.
❝ No, no. I'm alright! Thank you... ❞ You assured her softly, feeling more than alright.
Pepa sighed in relief but then a rainbow appeared over her head again, as she recalled what you had said earlier.
❝ You called me mami! ❞
And for the rest of the day, the same rainbow reminded above her head.
But that wasn't the end. O no, no.
The trouble started later that day, when you were with Camilo on a date. You went outside Casita to stargaze and you both had a good time. Your date went perfectly well...until you had accidentally hit your toe on a rock.
❝ Ack-! ❞ You gasped painfully, holding your leg and hissing in pain. Camilo send you a worried look and dived to help you.
But then, he had noticed a shadow looming over both of you and slowly looked up...only to discover a very familiar cloud above you. Camilo gasped dramatically, and pointed at it, making you look up and also gasped.
❝ Are you kidding me? ❞ You deadpanned, already knowing what was wrong with you.
❝ Can I call you a sunshine now? ❞ Camilo teased, quickly coming to terms with the fact that now you were sharing gift with his mom.
You deadpanned again, and struck him with your own lightning.
The same night, his family found out about your "gift" and now, you could officially say that you're a Madrigal now! No 'if's and 'but's. You're a (name) Madrigal!
Alma, suprisingly, was happy to find out that her daughter gift was lend to you. She had already accepted you in her family and now you could help around the town, by controlling the weather.
Pepa, although shocked to the core, was more than happy to share something with you. Of course, she grew worried when she had found out about the whole ordeal, and asked you a numerous of times if you were alright. She also apologized for causing it but you said that it didn't matter and you were more than okay.
Camilo, love of your life, fell even deeper in love with you. He had always admired his mother and her gift, so now he felt happy that it was 'passed' down to you.
The rest of the family was also happy buut...they knew that they had to be prepared for more wether changes.
After that day, Pepa and you became even closer. She helped you by teaching you about her gift and how to avoid certain... situations.
You both took turns when controlling the weather. When Pepa was feeling down, you took her to her room, where she could let it all out and you cleared the cloudy sky she left behind, bringing back the sunshine and clear skies. It worked both ways.
Since you weren't as emotional as Pepa, you had more control over your gift. But don't get me wrong, when you felt something, you were force to be feared.
Once, something had angered you so much, that even Pepa's door couldn't fully conceal your anger. That day the raging strom in Encanto was so violent that no one dared to step the foot outside their house.
❝ Maybe you should go and try to calm her down? ❞ Nervously aske Mirabel, while sitting with the whole family and eating dinner in their Casita. Everyone were feeling nervous, because lightnings were hitting the ground every few minutes, making everyone flinch at the loud crack. Poor Dolores had to wear ear plugs and ear mufflers not to go deaf.
❝ And die? No thank you. ❞ Answered Camilo, while taking a bite out of his food.
Pepa was strangely calm about this whole situation, but inside she felt extremely worried for you. She didn't know what had made you so angry but you needed to calm down, at least a little. Because at this rate, everyone in Encanto wouldn't be able to sleep.
Without another word, Pepa stood up and went to her son. Taking him by his ear, Pepa began to drag him towards her room, ignoring his protests.
Before Camilo could say another word, he was shoved inside his mom's room and the door shut behind him.
Camilo gulped while seeing the violent storm raging inside. He loved you to the moon and back and even tried to comfort you this morning. But when he saw your scary glare, he chose his life.
That day he discovered the difference between his mother and you. While Pepa was emotional woman and found a ways to let her emotions out regularly, you bottled it all inside until you bursted. And when you did, everyone should ran for their life's. Especially now that you shared your gift with his mother.
❝ Camilo? ❞ The said boy heard you, and saw you looking at him. The storm around lessen a little, and lightnings weren't as violent as before.
Taking a deep breath, Camilo send you a soft smile.
❝ Hello sunshine...what made you so upset?❞
Your expression softened and you feel your anger slowly disappearing, before being replaced by sadness. A stormy clouds were replaced by lighter ones, from which a soft rain started to fall down, just when a tear run down you cheek.
This time Camilo didn't hesitated to run to you and pull you into a comforting hug, letting you cry it all out in his shoulder. He wasn't bothered by the rain. All he cared about was you.
❝ Let it all out, mi vida. Breath in, breath out..❞
Meanwhile the whole Encanto sighed in relief, seeing the skies clearing up and the usual sum appearing from behind the clouds again. Madrigal's too, calmed down and Dolores could finally unlock her sensitive ears.
Pepa smiled softly, while looking outside. She knew what she was doing, because the only person who had always managed to calm her down, was no one other than her beloved husband, Felix. And in your case, it was Camilo.
❝ Ah, the wedding will be beautiful... ❞ Sighed dreamily Pepa, now being more than sure that her dream would someday become a reality.

Childhood Friends
—————————-
This was requested on Wattpad... Like a while ago. I’m trying to catch up on all of my requests at the moment since my school has just ended. If you have requested something, don’t worry, I am working on it.
—————————-
Summers with your grandfather were always fun. You two would spend time in the kitchen, hang out at his many restaurants, and meet new people all the time. This one particular time, however, was different...
The Creighton's were a kind family, Mr. and Mrs. Creighton were school friends of your mom and dad. So it was only natural for you to meet their son, who was about a year older than you.
You had just turn 5 when the two of you had met, you instantly wanted him to play restaurant with you, and seeing your cute face, he couldn't say no.
Your days were spent like this, running around, getting closer. Everything you did, you did together. The two of you would throw a fit if you didn't get to see each other for even a day.  Everything was perfect...
That is...
Until your dad got a new job. Your move was sudden, and before you knew it, you were saying goodbye to your Grandfather... and Creighton.
You didn't stop crying for weeks after you guys moved. But eventually... you forgotten why you were sad. You had forgotten your best friend.
———
"Order up!" You said with a smile as you placed a customer's order in front of them.
To the side your Grandfather talked with Creighton.
"Still no memory, huh?" Creighton sounded deflated, but didn't show it. The boy never forgot you, and your cute face. Your grandfather could only sigh at the lovesick boy.
"I'm afraid not, however, you know my offer still stands. One picture is all it takes you know." Your grandfather told him, pulling out a picture of the two of you cuddled together as children.
"They'd hate me for not telling them." He muttered, earning a sympathetic look for Mr. Grey.
"Alright then, your choice." He laid the picture on the table, a bit disappointed.
By this time your lunch rush had finished. You made your way over to your Grandfather and Creighton.
"You're quiet. Is something wrong?" You asked Creighton, looking a little concerned on why he wasn't being his usual cocky self.
Creighton instantly started bragging, and making excuses... However you were more focused on the picture that was laying on the table.
He didn’t notice when you begin to reach for it for a closer look until your fingers were about to graze it. He quickly snapped out of his daze and pulled your hand away... Which startled you and caused you to trip over your own feet.
As you were falling Creighton tried to catch you... Only to fall with you. You landed on the ground with a thud, Creighton on top of you.
It made for a cute scene for the customers.
The photo was forgotten as the two of you began to stutter and stand up, only to fall again due to the amount of embarrassment you were feeling.
Your Grandfather chuckled, and picked up the photo. Creighton may not want to tell you about your time together, and he could see that for now, you two were doing just fine.

Hi!
Can I just start by saying how much I love your Encanto fics! All your fics are good but i especially love your angst fics! The angst is painful but the happy endings makes it all up. Not that I'm saying the angst is bad or anything. If anything, I love myself some angst fics. But I need happy endings to balance it out and yours are perfect! The way you write really hits the feels and it's just amazing to read! It's the kind of fics where I can reread it over and over again without getting tired! (Sorry. Just fangirling over your writing 😅)
If it's alright, I would like to make a request about our dear Chameleon boy. Could you write something about the reader disappearing or Camilo not being able to get in contact or communicate with her? Either she was kidnapped or she ran away or a coma? Like angst again but with a happy ending please.
Hahahahhahah I'm so sorry! I feel so bad for Camilo but I need my daily dose of pain 🤣
Thank you so much! And I look forward to all of your future stories!
Aight, lets get back to the pain idea! Not that far away Warning(s) : Angst, angst, but fluff at the end! Pairing(s) : Camilo Madrigal x reader "Hello (Y/n),
Hey there, my beloved. How are things going for you today?
I'm sending this letter to you even knowing it will never reach its ultimate destination, but you can't blame me for missing you this much, can you?
Before I go any farther, let me express that I am grateful to have met you in this life. Despite the fact that fate has decided to separate us, I still have hope (Y/n)! And, as I promised, I will wait for you until you return to my arms and whisper to me that you're back home, so I can tell you that you - (Y/n), are the light that the universe has graced me within this lonely life of mine, and no one can replace you.
It's been five years since you last spoke to me, five years since we made the promise. Everyone else seems to be moving on, except for me (Y/n). I'm still here, in the Casita, where we usually have our secret dates in my room and tell everyone about our relationship for the first time.
Dolores married Mariano, and they now have a wonderful life. Isabela has now realized what she wants, since she has become a dependent woman and may be able to find a great partner on her own. Luisa continues to help around the town, but people now know their position and leave her alone for a while before asking for her assistance again. Mirabel and Abuela's relationship is stronger than ever, as Mirabel decided to learn how to keep the candle from Abuela. I'm a bit irritated because Antonio does not want to follow my prankster step! Tio Bruno returns and re-acquaints himself with life in Encanto, with the support of Mami and Tia Julietta. And today is my 18th birthday (Y/n). Everyone has been wishing me a happy birthday and saying that they would meet me at Casita tonight. But they have no idea that I only want to see one person tonight. I don't need a gift, and I don't want anything spectacular (Y/n). I simply want you to return.
I'm starting to forget how sweet your grin is and how beautiful your eyes are. And, despite the fact that I can transform into anyone, it hurts so much when I shift into you. It hurts because no one is there to playfully punch my shoulder when I do that, and it hurts because I don't know how much you've grown or how beautiful you'd become if you stood alongside me right now and looked in the mirror. Softly inform my ears that you have arrived. I don't blame you or your family for moving away, but this is unfair (Y/n). How come my heart still hurts when I think about you after all this time? I love you, and I despise the fact that I love you so much that the mere idea of you makes my heart race.
But, as I already mentioned (Y/n), I have hope. Every time I watch Mariano and Dolores grin at each other, I hope you'll return, smile at me, and we'll have a future together.
You are the reason I am still alive (Y/n); I am here because of you.
Please return to Encanto, to us, to me.
Your truly,
Camilo Madrigal"
Camilo sighed as he stuffed the note inside the envelope. As he looked at the time, he realized he still had approximately 15 minutes until the celebration started. He could drop by your house and slip the letter under your threshold if he was quick enough.
This had become a routine for him. Whenever he missed his (h/c) sweetheart too much, he would write another letter and slip it under the door of the abandoned (L/n) household. Due to an issue, the entire family went away 5 years ago, and no one has returned since. Despite this, you promised your dearest lover that you'd return one day, no matter how difficult it may appear.
He walked carefully to your house, trying to think of an explanation to tell his mother if he ever returned late. Though he is aware that Dolores would undoubtedly inform his family of his whereabouts, he does not want to worry his mother. But the sight in front of his eyes is different; there is someone at your door, they appear to be his age, and a suitcase was placed by their side, and they seem to be reading something.
When he took a closer look, the envelope slid off his grasp. As he took in the appearance of the person in front of him, his eyes widened in disbelief. Still the same grin, same hairstyle, same eyes that would light up whenever he cracked a joke. All of the earlier letters that he sends, a large number of letters following letters, are in their hands. He wasted no time, rushing past everything in between and hugging the person who had placed the letters down to extend their arms to him. His palm desperately grips their back, pleading with God not to deceive his poor mind once more. And there it is, the voice that he have craved to hear, a long time ago: "I'm home, Amor..."
