Customer Persona
My marketing persona for my company, Ryan’s Card Kingdom, is younger male adults who work in blue collar jobs. They have the interest in my specialized product, sports cards, and the necessary funds to be able to purchase them. When I interviewed some of my co-workers who are collectors and already buy on-line, they were very interested in me as a Canadian supplier of sports cards because all or almost all of the current suppliers are American. This means the Canadian customer has to pay more for shipping, which often makes the special card they want simply too expensive. The use case for my customers is to add to their personal collections. The buying cycle or process would be me providing cards to Canadian customers generating revenue for me to buy more card packs and then being able to provide even more options to my customers.

Strengths & Weaknesses
For my business idea of buying and selling sports cards, my strength will be my knowledge of athletes in various sports especially football and hockey. I have a strong knowledge of young athletes (rookies) and projecting future value since I watch many games and follow many news sources of teams' fan bases. Another strength that I bring to my business is I have watched many collectors on youtube and know the right brands, boxes and cards to purchase. My last strength is my current inventory of sports cards that I have collected throughout my life. My first weakness is my lack of knowledge on the current market for certain cards, which will improve with more experience. My biggest obstacle will be finding the best platform to sell as I have only bought and never sold any cards before. Buying individual cards will also be a new experience for me as I have only bought packs. The practice of buying individual cards will be more of an investment rather than the gamble of hoping for a rare card in a box. Let me know if you have any cards or packs to sell. Thanks!!!
