[2015] Months after leaving the army, Tord uses his army money to save up for his very first top surgery. Tord’s been staying with his bestest buds (and self-proclaimed adoptive dads), Paul and Patryck, for a while since then.

Paul and Patryck stuck alongside Tord through the whole thing, even until he fell asleep. Some time after the surgery, they visit Tord with a small gift for their favorite son. :-]

I LOVE THE EDDSWORLD SIDE CHARACTERS SO MUCH OH MY GOSH.

First time drawing most of the goofballs in this whole post, and some of them I’ve already drawn before! I had so much fun experimenting my character design and designing these sillies. I love them with all my heart, and I want these guys to have more recognition!!!

Featuring Hellucard, Diwi, Laurel, Kim and Katya, and first time appearances from Ivy (the WTFuture interviewer lady who I came up with a name for!), Catherine, Coco, and Anna!!!

It was really cool doing this little project thingy! I’ve still yet to redesign Bing and Larry, Honey Piper, the Neighbours, and a bunch of the others, but hope you folks enjoy these! :-]

VERY rough doodle for a WTFuture Paul and Patryck design. :-) Will get revised! They’re in their 50s-60s here, so I wanted to make them look older. If I ever make a colored, full version, they’d have more white hairs and visible wrinkles.

Side profiles are like one of my favorite things EVER to draw. Istg I used to be shit at them but now Im like, literally thats one of my defaults besides front-facing profiles.

Here, lets look at my favorite recent side profiles together guys.

Hypothetically… If I made a post for every artwork I made that I kept looking at everyday, you’d be seeing these a thousand times over. And then probably be like “why is this dude posting the same photo every 5 FUCKING SECONDS”. Not that I’d actually do that. But because there is no joy and whimsy unless any artist has that one drawing that they look at for 10 hours a day.

Figured I wanted to give more Patryck Dabrowski appreciation. I can imagine he listens to lots of these kinda songs. It gave me a noir, dark kinda vibe, and I went with it for the drawing. :-)

Aside from the usual silly Paultryck / PP Pals hijinks, they are actually so fucking cool.

These are the guys that are so silly on the outside, but god damn do they know how to fight. They’ve been in the army for years, and these are the guys Tord looks up to. Paul and Patryck, you have my heart forever.

Patryck’s amazing and wonderful hairline reveal. From that army boys cruise I mentioned a while back! Tord and Pat went outside to walk around the ship, and the wind JUST so happened to get to his hair.

Eddsworld Paul and Yuu comic, based on a hangout with my friends HEUHEE

They hung out as a group with Patryck and Yanov! After eating at a restaurant, they started walking to the store on a sidewalk. Yuu asks Paul about the food, but the noise outside’s a bit too loud.

AGAIN JUST A REALLY SILLY COMIC IDEA UEHEUEGEU!! Paul’s not actually angry, he’s just playful when he does the raising voice thing to his army friends.

I can imagine he also has some hearing loss from serving in the army, so he sometimes asks the others to repeat what they said.

My Eddsworld musical themes/genres autism cause why the hell not!

Been meaning to talk about this for ages! I never had the motivation to until recently, but god this topic has been on my mind for ages. Will be referencing my Eddsworld playlists, mainly the main 4 and their duo / collective playlists!

Most of the character playlists/duos mentioned are playlists in my account, but the TomTord one belongs to @starrixle! It still fits with my headcanons, but they’re the one in charge of it! :-] You can check out their TomTord playlist right here.

So general gist right? I like to think of music as how it portrays their personalities, favorite instruments, and their voices. More than just music I can imagine them listening to, but also music and genres depicting what the character is like as a person!

For example, as a rough description of how I see each of their themes:

Matt is generally flowier and airy, leaning towards a pop, funk, or soul kinda vibe. On occasion there she has louder rock music! Daydreamy, but also really loud and energetic.

Edd is easier going and lighter, preferring acoustics and a gentler tone! Maybe close indie rock or pop (like Matt). That and he leans towards classic 70s-80s songs a bunch! Or maybe some rlly silly songs, like Ocean Man or Brodyquest.

Tom is heavier in tone and rougher, lots of heavy bass and guitar, leaning towards punk, metal, and rock. There’s a good mix of hip hop, rap, and definitely ska, which is generally lighter and easier in tone. Low energy with the occasional heavy, angry music.

Tord is louder, energetic, and aggressive as shit. He leans towards more industrial and punk, with little bits of metal and breakcore. Lots of emphasis on strong drums and a powerful rhythm. Chaotic, loud, and assertive.

Featuring my recent references of them with a nod to their favorite genres. :)

When it comes to duo / collective playlists, I like experimenting with and seeing how their themes sound like when combined together!

For example: TomTord has a heavier, rougher sound to their playlist, while EddMatt is more easier going and lighter.

Sometimes those duo playlists don’t always EXACTLY combine their genres, but they create this kinda new vibe, while also having little bits and aspects of each other’s personality!

For example: For TordMatt, even though Matt’s is lighter and Tord’s is heavier, their whole playlist is almost full of loud as fuck rock, kinda bringing out more of Matt’s louder guitar side with Tord’s aggressive drumming as a complement. There’s also the occasional racing game / mall type of music, where it’s really fast paced and energetic, but almost really light in terms of sound.

For example! SALTWATER SKY being more of their general loud stuff

While Move Me is more lighter, but also super energetic!

And last but not least, the polyamory!

The main four have more of a collective kinda sound to them, hence the general genre you hear the Creatures From Mum’s Basement playing. They’re generally more a rockband that delves into indie rock, punk, and surf rock, which is the best way I can describe their collective sound.

Apart from band stuff, there’s also songs that I kinda just see as THEM-them, rather than JUST songs they’d play in performances. Hence, this little thing. :-]

Their collective songs kind of tap into each of their individual sounds, sometimes leaning more to one of them and their music, or even a combination of two, three, or all of em! Sometimes they’re easier going like Edd, or hell, chaotic like Tord.

Since I have been typing for a longgg time, I’m gonna cut this one short, but here’s a good song you guys might recognize from one of my CFMB posts. :-]

SOTD #10 | Rock the Casbah - The Clash

I SWEAR my Tord absolutely freakin loves The Clash. Rock the Casbah is one of his obsessions, along with a bunch of other songs by other artists: My Sharona, Message in a Bottle, list goes on.

Over time, especially later into 2016 and early 2017 when he started being more outward about his silliness and being more comfy around the others, he’d jam the FUCK out to this. Shirtless and rocking the hell out in his room. Air guitar, air drums and everything.

He also absolutely LOVES singing along to these kinda songs. He doesn’t really have much of a wide singing range, so in general, he’d rather yell out the lyrics or kinda keep to a low tone.

Everytime this song comes up, he’s always like “I FUCKING LOVE THE CLASH!!!”

Made these right after I ate one of em funky peanut butter cups a few nights ago.

Bit of an experimental visualizer piece with one of my favorite Steve Lacy songs. Loved how the music complemented the mood of the piece, so I thought of just mashing my favorite polycule with “When I” together to create this trippy lil thing.

So Paul is very much an autistic mf because I am and I say so. HELL YA! Like SURE he can be really goofy and silly and annoying sometimes, but boy when he’s tired of shit, he WILL not speak to you but his expressions will say so.

I can imagine it’s whenever he goes out for way longer than he can handle and his social battery is beyond dead, or he’s overstimulated and has no energy to be expressive. He tends to furrow his eyebrows, sit there, and just not talk to anyone when he’s had enough of it LOL.

That second piece is more lighthearted. Paul is still really exhausted from socializing the day prior so he’s just chilling with Pat. Paul said something rlly stupid and probably forgot what he even said. Pat is just. standing there absolutely confused. And Paul’s brain is still recharging so he’s kinda just on-hold LOLAKJSOSJA.

Im thinking Paul also does that kinda face when he’s just DONE with Tord’s bullshit. Ah yes. his annoying stupid gremlin son.

Been OBSESSED with this one ever since Star reminded me of it. HOLY SHIT. I love The Police.

There’s a good amount of songs in French that I associate heavily with Patryck, and now I’m just like yeah, that dude speaks fluent French now.

Instrumentals are fucking cool as hell. They have a lot of silly songs in their playlist, love songs or goofy songs whatever, but then there’s those songs that just feel like you’re cruising down a highway. Maybe some cool as fuck montage where you got your leather jacket on and your sunglasses. Like Blonzie. Blonzie mention. Hi Mark. 🥰

I call Paul and Patryck the most chillest dads ever. They’re goofy and corny as hell, but GOD these are the guys that have lived long enough to not give a fuck bout anything. They do shit cus they wanna, and god I love how cool they are.
