I kinda miss when creating OCs in fandoms we enjoyed was a “popular practice”.

★ H×H AU IDEAS ★

I usually don’t drop random projects like this, but listen:

an H×H AU where, after Gon gets mad at Illumi because he told Killua to go back home, instead of just asking him where Killua's house is, Gon drags Illumi along with himself, Leorio and Kurapika and forces him to be their guide.

Illumi will simply take it philosophically and accept that because "I should have gone home anyway", believing that they would have given up once they got to the Gates.

So Illumi starts travel with the trio and is a character that involuntarily oscillates between a co-protagonist and an antagonist role in this story arc.

I don’t know why, but would be so funny seeing our pin-guy traveling with the silly little Hunter family!

There would be many funny scenes like:

[Leorio] “ILLUMI, TELL ZEBRO THAT WE ARE YOUR OFFICIAL GUESTS!”

[Illumi] “But you aren’t.”

[Gon] “Illumi!”

[Illumi] “What? Is your business now. I go home.”

[Zebro] “Sorry, Illumi-sama, but your father said you’re not allowed to open the gates for yourself until the people you bought here don’t go away.”

[Illumi] “Ah.”

or, on the turistic bus

[Tutistic Guide] “A photo of a Zoldyck family member is worth a lot Jenny!”

[Illumi] “…”

[Gon] “…”

[Leorio] “…”

[Kurapika] “…Leorio, put away the camera.”

I will probably draw a comic or write a fic about it, ehe ☆

Do you have any tips on how to color the light underside of a dark skinned person's palm? How much lighter should it be, and should it be pale or have a redder tint like blush? I'm white and I worry I've been doing it incorrectly.

Eesh, coloring darkskin palms is one of those things i’m good at doing but not so good at explaining, so i’ll try my best on this one

Okay so starting off

The palm of a dark skin person’s hand is simply just a reflection of their undertone

Everyone has an undertone and black people are no different. A dark skin person’s palm is a part of their hand that has little to no melanin. Without all of that melanin the only thing that’s left is their undertone

Black people with an orange undertone tend to have orange looking palms

Black people with a neutral undertone tend to have a mixture of pinkish orange-ish looking palms

And black people with red undertones tend to have pink looking palms

So how exactly do you determine the palm color and undertone of a darkskin black person?

When it comes to a black person with a neutral skin tone rather than raising the color up in the Spectrum simply just lighten the skin

Skin tone can be complicated so I made a few examples:

Make sure when coloring black palms to always add a gradient

(( Many artists have done this and I too am guilty of it so dont sweat it ))

Dante basically wrote a fan fiction where he described all his headcanons about heaven and hell, he decided that Virgil, one of his favorite ff authors, is his best friend in the story and the fandom considered his headcanons… canon.

See, guys? Just because you write fan fics it doesn’t mean that your headcanons and ideas aren’t valid and shouldn’t be appreciated.
