Jared Harris as Francis Crozier, Liam Garrigan as Thomas Jopson in The terror AMC (2018)
Jopson sees his crew mates abandoning him and he tries to make it back to his crew seeing that they have forgotten him with some others but he is suffering from scurvy and delirium crawling; he sees Crozier but he does not know that he has been captured, then dies trying to yell to the remaining crew.
He makes his last appearance when Crozier with Lady Silence is inspecting the camp site while traveling to find Crozier’s men.

You know, I’ve been Thinking a lot about this scene in The Terror during Episode 9, when Little suggests that they leave the infirm behind long enough for the able-bodied men to move farther south; the suggestion, naturally, framed by rational and altruistic reasons such as more chances to hunt game and higher chances of survival overall.
Which Jopson immediately rebukes with the none-too-gentle reminder that such a plan would guarantee the death of numerous men.
Namely, his own.
