Update on the fanzine

So....

I was intending for this project to be underway by now, but schoolwork has started piling up and I've been stressed for time. This has meant that I've not been able to actually get the zine started.

Right now my biggest concern is that I won't be able to be as focused on the zine as I wanted to be and cause the zine to lack in quality.

I think the best thing I could do for the zine is ask if you all still want the zine to happen, and look for someone else to take lead over it.

If anyone wants to take over, please let me know and I'll get the information from the form I had to you asap.

When something catches her eye.

A blot in the wine dark sea.

A raft.

She gets up and runs to the window with the best view of the sea.

Her husband is home. After 20 years of pain, he's finally home.

She can almost hear his voice.

But something is wrong.

The raft stops.

And waits a few seconds.

And begins moving at breakneck speed away from the island.

She cries out, falling to her knees and crying.

She cries for hours and there is only one soul that could comfort her.

And that soul was just dragged away from her by the god of the sea himself.

Telemachus tries. He doesn't even know why his mother is crying but he tries.

Epic the Musical Community, I have a proposition.

Yes, Odysseus and his closest friends were fighting great monsters and adventuring through dangerous islands, but you can't just abandon a ship on a random island. What about all of the men that were left on the boats?

I propose: a fanzine.

It would just be a compilation of art and writing about what went on when Odysseus wasn't around. (Unless this idea isn't really popular and people would rather have a different topic). I would put the whole thing together, and probably add some doodles and a bit of text art.

Once the poll ends, I'll have a form available for applications and then stuff can get going! It'll be at least a week before I can properly start because of the poll, but I'll check to see how it's leaning.
