I need to talk about that quote from the end of episode 5 of the Golden Blood. The one that goes:

"If I were to kiss you then go to hell I would, so then I can brag with the devils that I saw heaven without entering it".

You have to understand. This quote haunts me. It has haunted me for years. If you look it up, it is constantly credited to Shakespeare. Except its not a Shakespeare quote. He did not say this. Its also commonly credited to like three other dudes who also definitely did not say it. No one seems to know who said it or where it came from.

My researcher friend once spent an entire afternoon trying to track down this damn quote. The closest we got is that it appears to have randomly appeared online in about 2012 and at this point it was already being credited to Shakespeare and friends and every mention of it claims they heard it somewhere else.

My friend has lost sleep over this quote. Every time I hear it I lose one sanity point. I need to know which 14 year old poet came up with it
