What I find especially funny and at the same time absolutely heartbreaking about Di Feisheng. The Mysterious Lotus Casebook shows us such a crowd of characters - cheating, selfishly obsessively jealous, abandoning their partners, lying, using, hurting, raping, torturing their "loved ones".

And here, against the background of this whole panorama of human meanness, the image of an absolutely classic Enchanted Knight shines - who will go through fire and water, through torture and humiliation, but will get a miraculous flower for his beloved. And in fact, he will not ask for anything in return except just for continue to exist.

And this Enchanted Knight, the embodiment of the classic mythological dream of love - the leader of the outcasts, a graduate of the gladiatorial arena, with a reputation as the main villain, without social skills and with zero desire to acquire them.

And yes, he is also gay.
