what do you think of trans women as a self proclaimed radical feminist

hiii first of all sorry it took me a minute to get back to this i honestly do not use this account very often these days... i'm going to assume this is someone i know who just wanted to ask anonymously for clarification which is totally ok! but i also wanted to mention that this & my general beliefs is something we can talk about directly in dms without me taking offense, and i would also love to chat about it further if you have questions :) my strawpage might also be more efficient if you'd rather stay anonymous.

i wholeheartedly support trans women & other trans people. i don't believe in bioessentialism, and will always advocate for their protection and rights. i know a lot of trans women personally who i have had very insightful & candid conversations with on this subject, and i have yet to be told that i am harming their community through my beliefs.

i understand that the radfem label has certain connotations, but honestly a lot of us don't wish any harm upon trans women for simply existing & i would really encourage you to do your own research on our base theories instead of immediately assuming this — like i mentioned, i'm happy to discuss this in dms further and maybe point you towards some books/authors if it's something that interests you. that being said, i don't think trans women (or anyone else) are expempt from perpetuating misogyny and socialisation generally speaking is always going to be part of the conversation regardless of how you choose to approach the topic.

tldr; i do not care if you're trans, just be normal and nice person & we will be friends
