Support Education in Gaza

Despite the conditions, Gazan university students are still pursuing their degrees via remote learning.

This is particularly tricky due to scarce internet access, insufficient power to operate their devices, as well as unavailability of spaces in which to study.

Mahmoud @ma7moudgaza2 is one such student, and he decided to start a campaign to support fellow students in Gaza. It is now live at @isnadgaza.

Isnad (Arabic for "support") has the following goals:

Cover the rent of a study room for 15 students.

Provide consistent power supply to 15 students.

Obtain any additional necessities, such as stationery.

Mahmoud, whose account is vetted, is personally checking and selecting the beneficiaries to ensure it supports those who have no other means of studying. You can message him if you have any additional questions.

Relief for Rafah is a community kitchen in Gaza in need of funding.

With aid cut off, crossings closed, and prices rising, basic supplies are out of the reach of many families. R4R is buying supplies in bulk and distributing them for free. In the past they have distributed packages including pasta, oil, vegetables, medicine, water, clothing, cleaning supplies, shampoo, toothpaste, dishwashing liquid, and menstrual pads, and provided cash aid to orphans.

They are also helping besieged families in Rafah with transportation costs to return to their homes across the Gaza Strip.

Even though I'm a huge Vegeta fan, I kind of feel bad for Yamcha and feel that Vegeta ruined his life, not intentionally, but still.

First, Yamcha got killed because of the Saiyan invasion, which he led. Second, when he came back to life, his confidence was shattered (he was nothing like the Yamcha before, who was always willing to fight in the front lines). Third, he took Bulma, the only girl he ever loved (sure, he may've had flings with others, but Bulma was the only one he truly loved).

On top of that, all those 3 factors made him the butt of so many DBZ jokes.

On the plus side, we got Trunks, who's an incredible character and saved both the future timeline and the past timeline.

I feel Yamcha does bottle up a lot of pain, sorrow and resentment and tries to be positive, but that pain's still there. But that said, if someone like Vegeta, who has way more demons than Yamcha, can turn his life around, so can Yamcha. He can find a new girl who believes in him, is loyal to him and rekindles his confidence. I still feel Vegeta x Bulma are far more compatible and well suited for each other, personality-wise, determination-wise and character-wise, but that doesn't mean Yamcha doesn't have a soulmate, somewhere out there, just waiting for him to make his move. Those are my thoughts anyhow.

Yamcha taking care of Bulma's children is the purest thing of all. Despite everything, he is there playing with those who could have been his kids. He is so precious. What a funny coincidence that Yamcha and Bulma act the same way. Were they really that incompatible? Who knows...🙀

2025 vs. 2019

I sampled the colors directly from cel paint sheets compiled in this Tumblr post, specifically アートセル ones. I haven't faked the quality of an 80s/90s anime for awhile, so I kinda forgot how... -_-;

2025 looks more like a DVD remaster to me.
