Klance House Search

Okay I am down with a cold and so was doing the only possible thing you can do when ill:

Watching TV while slowly sipping my tea.

That's when I came across that series House Hunters that featured that lovely gay pair of over 20 years.

And besides they wearing red and blue hues their personalities also reminded me of our two dorks.

Just imagine Keith and Lance searching for an apartment/house.

Lance, like the princess he is, being all fussy over the design and interior while Keith is just like:

"Who the f*ck cares? There will be dog hair everywhere and it's not like you are going to do any cleaning anyway!"

I am sorry if that was already a thing but am I the only one who is bothered by the fact that at the beginning of the [Violet Evergarden] episodes Netflix always says “A Netflix Original Series”?

I mean Netflix licensed it but didn’t write the plot. (It’s based on a Light Novel)

So shouldn’t it rather be called “An Adaption by Netflix/Brought to you by Netflix” ?

I really don’t wanna be rude but I am just concerned that it could lead to legal consequences because of its ambiguous sounding nature.

Also (though that’s my own opinion) it is slightly impolite towards Kana Akatsuki and Akiko Takase.

Before I start writing let me reassure you: It won’t be a post about shipping (Seriously in case of [Tales of Zestiria] it’s like diving into an endless abyss)

I actually just wanted to bring Sorey’s name into the spotlight.

As some may know or not know, in the japanese language there is that certain particularity of the non-existing consonant “L”

Therefore the consonant “R” can be both be “R” but also “L”

As an example: The name Alice would be writen a-ri-su.

So what does that mean?

It means the name “Sorey” could actually be written “Soley”.

And that name, as matter of fact, exists!!!

It’s of islandic/spanish origin and has two meanings:

The first and foremost would be “Buttercup”

The second would be a literal translation meaning “Sun Island”

Buttercup?

The buttercup is quite a sweet flower, which acts as a symbolism for certain characteristics or traits e.g. is used as a synonym for a sensitive person.

The buttercup stands for:

Humility

Neatness

Childishness

New Beginnings 

Joy/Happiness

Friendship

Optimism

Renewal

“Your charm dazzles me”

But also:

ingratitude

And if that isn’t the perfect one-word-decription for our shepherd (and how he is sometimes treated), then I really don’t know what else!

Fun Fact: If you say Sorey out loud it sounds like the French word “Soleil” meaning “Sun”, which also fits his personality but also partly the second meaning of his name
