Calculate where the chart Ascendant lord is sitting. Example - Sagittarius Rising, Jupiter in 6th.

Keep the count in mind. Ex- in our above example it's 6 (how ? 1,2,3,4,5 and 6)

Now count the same from where the lord of the first house is sitting. Ex- in our example it would be the 11th house. 11th house would become the arudha lagna.

However there are exceptions: Arudha pada or lagna can never be in the same house or the house opposite to it.

If lord is in 1st or 7th ,then it would be the 10th house

If lord in 4th or 10th, 4th house

Arudha lagna or pada can be calculated for any house in the same manner.

Take your time to get the hang of it ✨
