I think drama within the scene and emo community is the most ridiculous thing. Like yes we should be calling out someone if they’ve done something genuinely bad BUT 90% of the time that’s not the case.

Like sorry but if you get so offended over someone “copying” you (when they probably weren’t) you seriously need to leave the house because it’s pathetic. This is absolutely not a dig at scenesters who are actually authentic and have original ideas but a lot of the time the people crashing out over being copied are literally a copy of someone else. Like yeah okay dude someone has the same colour hair as you, NEWS FLASH!! You’re not that original yourself.

Also if someone genuinely is copying you, I get that it’s annoying but just take it as a compliment. Like why is it such a bad thing that someone thought you were so cool that they wanted to take inspo from you? It’s all about perspective and imo thinking of it that way will make you feel a lot better about yourself than getting mad over it.

[This is also not to say that I am or have been involved in any scene drama nor is it an insult to the scene community or aimed at anybody in particular, it’s just something I’ve been thinking about recently. Anyways love you guys!]
