I haven't posted here in forever but felt the need to as soon as I watched Neil's new music video. The interconnections of cultural & environmental losses throughout the lyrics and photos hit hard...but anyway here are some young Neil and Porji photos <3
#i feel so heartbroken thinking about the loss of everything...and i really hoped i could someday be a part of restoring the land i love sm#i always feel like giving up and just focusing on my own survival#but then i remember my dream was always to work on land damaged by mining & other activities#and feel like i am actually making a difference with my life#i think i will try to find work at home in remediation/conservation because i know there are of course also massive problems here#but the scale of harm to australias beautiful land just hurts oh fuckkkk#none of this is as eloquent as id like but u get the idea#ive been thinking a lot about the land ethic lately :[#ANYWAY NEIL ON HORSEY YEEHAW#neil murray
