Asking for help.
I don’t understand how people say it’s ok to ask for help and when you do they just ignore it all. They ignore the fact that you feel a certain way and ignore the fact that you pushed everything aside and you gathered the courage to speak up. Why would I ever want to become vulnerable when all anyone ever does is want to hear your problems and do nothing to help you? I need help. I need a person to see me. To really see me not the person I pretend I am. I am not happy. I do not smile. I want to cry all the time. I like to stay in bed. My mind races and when people ask my what I’m thinking I don’t wanna bother so I say elevator music. That’s just me trying to feel better. But not for me, for everyone else. It’s awful. I’m asking for help but no one has to listen because I’m used to it.
