Trans Awareness Week

Hi everyone it is apparently #TransAwarenessWeek and I wanted to say that for everyone out there who is trans on the spectrum or even just an ally, whether you are open about your gender or not, you are brave, you are valid and you are loved. If anyone sees this and is curious and is curious about my story, I was raised in the Antelope Valley during the 90s and 2000s and was surrounded by religion and societal expectations, while my father had his problems he accepted me and loved me no matter my orientation or gender, the problem is was my parents are/were divorced and my mother hated my father for leaving her for a man and made me unconsciously hate myself for what I was. I grew up KNOWING secretly I was a girl and everyone was lying to me about being a boy. I grew up relating more to girls than boys and loving femininity. The problem was that I would get beat down by teachers classmates and even family every time I tried to accept it; Even when I rebelled I felt too scared to completely accept myself and even into early adulthood I let my significant other control my gender expression by giving into her ideas for attractiveness and adapting to it. After our breakup and my suicidal mental breakdowns I started my life over, went to therapy and started school again Over the years of therapy and school I met other LGBT people who accepted me and gained a level of awareness and confidence to express who I was: A Pansexual Trans Girl. This is just how I have always felt. And I am valid, just as are all LGBT people as all TRANS people are.
