[figured the proper thing to do would be to make a post, but im back in the rp scene baby. im still gojng to be mostly semi-active, but ill do my best to respond to asks and whatever threads happen to start. i do have school and homework to do etc etc but now that ive gotten into the rhythm of this semester i should be able to handle doing rp as well again. the current state of ggm iss, well. i think im just going to go back to being canon compliant, though ill still interact with canon divergent blogs. i trust cc!sam lol. and also reminder that this means blogs like @presidentubbo and @samnuki are open again too!]

Sam Nook skitters off Sam's back, seeming to not mind getting pushed as he processes the command. He gives a salute and a nod.

"I WILL DO MY BEST TO SOCIALIZE... GOODBYE FOR NOW AWESAMDUDE..."

He wanders around the area, admiring the architecture and shuffling to get used to the clothing. He wore white slacks with a golden vest and, frankly, it wasn't something Sam Nook was used to after only ever wearing construction wear and armor. At the very least, the prospect of a party sounded exciting.

Sam Nook was made to make a place where everyone could gather and be happy together, so he could certainly appreciate the effort from others to do so as well.

[Open Gala Starter]

Sam adjusts his tie as he walks to the Gala, making sure not to jostle the small machine resting on his back.

He didn't really plan to bring Sam Nook, but, well.. He figured that it would maybe lessen the hate thrown at him if he brought a thing that wouldn't be able to process the negativity.

Sam walks inside, eyes flicking over all the other visitors from under his goggles. They may have agreed to keep off his armor (though it all still stored in his inventory, just in case), instead sporting a green vest with golden details and simple black pants, but he didn't truly want to show his face in a literal sense just yet.

Sam goes to the table with the punch bowl, pouring himself a cup and sliding Sam Nook off. They push him with a paw and nods towards the crowd of people.

"Go socialize, or something. Whatever you want to do. You're off duty."

He sits and waits for conversation and dances to start up, sipping at his punch with swiveling ears.
