This is a MUST when in Cuba. I highly recommend taking a day trip out to Viñales Valley you won’t regret it! The drive from Havana to Vinales Valley is about 3-4 hours. It is located on the West end of Cuba near Province de Rio. The drive there is very relaxing with amazing views of Cuba. You can see the changes in landscapes as you begin to arrive in the Valley. Tobacco farm in Viñales Valley. What a great time learning all about the tobacco farm. He showed me where they keep the tobacco to hang dry and then proceeded with showing me proper rolling techniques for Cuban cigars and how to smoke them. He had a great enthusiastic spirit.
