I find it difficult being openly vulnerable in the “real” world, so I’ve really just dedicated my artistry to vulnerable self reflection and shadow work. It’s so easy dancing in ego and blaming outside forces for misfortune. While yes, not every bad situation i find myself in is necessarily my fault, I can avoid a lot of nonsense by simply looking my fears in the eye and confronting them. (100% internal) Same with my desires, 2 sides of the same coin. Once I look at them, I mean reallyyyy observe, it feels so trivial. It’s like when babies are terrified of their shadow. It’s also.. exciting? No it’s not, but it’s thrilling. I am the creator and director.

Yesterday at my beautiful friends wedding, there was no traditional bouquet toss to the bridesmaids. What did happen, however, was a little girl tapping my back and handing me the brides bouquet, claiming someone had left it on her seat. Trying not to read into it too much though. Abeg

I would like to offer strength to a certain counter culture of honesty and sincerity. People think sometimes it’s not practical in the commercial sense. I think it’s quite the opposite. It’s irresistible. I’d like to offer strength to a counter culture of patience and a slower pace, different colours. More profound but still very powerful and very strong and relatable. Very true. Very beautiful, very cool.
