Hapshetsut - A great queen who ruled Egypt known as the first great woman in history whom we are informed. Born in 1507 bc she ascended the throne at 2 years old when her father passed and her two heired brothers also died. She ruled Egypt for almost 50 years constructing many monuments including the temple depicted above and obelisks placed at the Karnak temple. Her history was attempted to be erased, which is why so much of her rule is shrouded in mystery. We do know during her rule, she helped establish trade routes, acquired resources of gold, copper, & ivory and expanded the territory of over 350 cities. It is currently believed she was married to her half brother Thutmose II, but may very well been having an affair with her architect & vizier Senenmut, which is why her child Neferure is seen sitting in his lap and carved on his tomb. She bore no children with Thutmose, but he had a child with Iset, daughter of Isis Thutmose III who succeeded her reign after her suspected murder by possibly his command or hand through a toxic facial cream. It is currently being researched if her daughter married Thutmose III or what happened to her exactly.

This is Hypatia - she was a greek mathemetician, astronomer and philosopher whom studied Plato & Aristotle's teachings and was the head of the Neoplatonic school in Alexandria, Egypt. She lived during the Byzantine empire from 350-370 to 415 being murdered by Christians for teaching astronomy. At the time this was considered heresy and sacreligious and for many years afterwards any scientists who studied the sky, discovered or taught anything about what Christians called the heavens would get you executed because they believed it was violating the mysteries of God.

Father of medicine. These days I tend to treat myself due to the fact that medical insurance is unaffordable because of the greed of this industry along with the pharmaceutical industry and no one imposing cost limits to either entity. It is a unattainable racket now imposed by our government who took our right to choose away from us by imposing fines if we cannot even afford this money sucking greed engine in the first place!
