Fucking hell, I actually lived like this at one point.

And this was a good thing at the time. This was the improvement. Over the first place I moved into with him.

That I had to clean for several hours before I could even unpack, as he hadn't properly made room for me to live with him. And he watched me organize his things while my own belongings were still out in the car.

The red flags waving in my face for the entirety of that sham of a marriage were about as effective as a screen door on a submarine.
