Silly little headcanon to go with this!!

I like to imagine Porter was just kinda. Laying there for a while, yknow? In that alleyway. Mainly out of disbelief of what happened, and hey, he didn’t know how long he was meant to stay conscious for. He’d never died before (YES IK HE WOULDNT HAVE DIED IN CANON SHHHH)

But after a while, once he realized what was happening to him definitely wasn’t normal, he just kept waiting, to see if someone would come and help him. If anyone would find him. But no one did.

People walked past the alleyway, sure. But no one bothered walking into it, into the dark shadows to find some guy bleeding out on the ground with a chunk of his neck literally ripped out. No one helped him, even if they could smell the blood, even if they could see it pooling around him, just barely visible in the dark, dank area. No one helped him.

So he forced himself to get up and leave. His jaw was starting to hurt- his neck hurt. Obviously. He stopped to look at himself in a broken window, huh. Did his eyes change color? And- oh. There was blood in his mouth. His teeth were sharper, specifically two of his top ones, they dug into his gums and dripped with blood themselves from growing in at such a rapid rate. He could barely even taste the blood, it didn’t taste normal. It didn’t taste how it normally would after getting decked in the face, making the thick red liquid poor from his nose and drip bits into his mouth. There was no usual coppery taste. It didn’t taste normal. He didn’t look normal, he looked like a walking corpse. Well, he supposed he was one, now. Overall he looked, and felt, like shit.

Holy crap, how long had he been in that alley? He was so hungry.. Some normal tasting blood sounds pretty good right now, actually.
