to add to that- i genuinely feel like some of my best early teenage memories are of staying up way too late to read fanfiction or being on tumblr and pinterest for all these niche fandoms. even the actual making of art and writing of stories. i’ve made so many friends through it. i truly don’t know what i would do without online fangirls

i rlly feel like being a fangirl is such an integral part of my life.. like i’ll be 40 still up late reading fanfiction and finding things to obsess over. i just think there’s smth so homey about a fandom experience that brings me back to my childhood
