Fred Tomaselli combines photogram and collage, prescription pills and images of flowers and anatomy, light and dark, to represent the blurring between psychedelic and objective realities. I love the combination of mediums because it adds depth and layers to the image. This week I want to experiment with giving my images more depth/layers.

These artists swallowed film, digested it, excreted it and then developed it. As an artist, I struggle with whether to prioritize ingenuity of idea or efficacy of result. I am impressed by the balance struck in this work.
