Duke leaned back in his chair. Everywhere he looked, memories flashed in his mind’s eye. Putting up posters of Luke Fox, taking home his first puzzle books from the library, the day Tammy told him he had an hour to pack up what he wanted before she had to take him to his first placement. He ached over it all, his eyes throbbing as he slowly spun.

A familiar figure caught his eye. Duke frowned as he turned towards his door. His eyes widened as the woman slipped out of his room.

“Mom?”

Damion Scott has been posting Cass art again on his Instagram and it's got me like those Detective Doakes memes looking for something that's probably not there. 😭

Wishful thinking is that he might be doing the Batgirl Annual, but regardless it's nice to see him draw her again.

It is curious that he's giving her the white eyes, that's what makes me think this could be something more.
